seahawk I'm using nipple pads for warmth too! No leaking yet though. That can only be a good sign for breastfeeding though mcnics!

No leakage here (but bf dd for 18 months so it's actually quite nice not to be leaking for once 🙈) but I have permanent nipple erection. 😳

Every time someone unexpectedly pops by in having to cross my arms or stick in some nipple pads it's that obvious 😨

@Seahawk80 no we're in the north-west, it's east of Manchester in a place called Gee Cross about a half hour drive away from us. I took this pic after class one time with the lights back on but during class it's dim lights with colour-changing under water lighting. And bc it's a special baby swimming place every changing cubicle is fitted with proper baby change and are kept nicely clean and dry.

@natienka I have a list I made like that but it's tailored to being self-employed so is quite a bit different I think

Morning everyone!

No boob action here too apart from giant nipples which font hurt either. I quite like their sensitivity though! Also no milk but very small amounts of sticky white/creamy stuff every few days that it doesn't warrant a breast pad to catch it.

Looks like mumsnet have finally fixed the android app. Look at those paragraphs! I can also see the message I'm typing instead of the whole thing fixed to one line.

Gah wish me luck today guys. We are driving from Hampshire to Newcastle today. No mean feat with a 21 month old and being 24 weeks pregnant. Hopefully dh husband understands that we'll need to stop and get out of the car regularly 🙊

Good luck Glitters! That sounds like a trial! Blanket rule a service station every 30 miles. Hopefully the little one will sleep through most of it. Xxx

drew you have my sympathy. My baby isn't transverse but occasionally rolls to one side and the nerve pain is excruciating. You can see my bump go lopsided and my eyes water from pain. I've been doing lots of yoga poses and squats when it happens to encourage baby back to position. Girls are work were equally fascinated and horrified by my wonky bulging bump and attempts to centre baby

@danigrace do you do the aquanatel with puddleducks at Gee cross? i've just started aquanatal at DW in Oldham with them. was only £30 admin fee so works out at £2.50 a lesson (which is cheaper than going swimming normally)

No leakage here lol. But i didn't leak at all with DS1 and even when feeding I only leaked for the first 2-3 months and then nothing even though i'm still feeding him (ish, he only asks for it about 3 times a week and only when he wakes up)

I totally get how it can be difficult being happy when others are struggling or for them to be happy for you. My best friend is currently on round 2 of IVF and I found it hard telling her I was pregnant again, although she was the first person I went to the day I miscarried last July and her and her husband let me hang out at their house all day, building IKEA furniture to distract me lol. The girl I work with miscarried hers the same week as me last year and is still TTC. She openly admitted she was insanely jealous and I was glad she was comfortable to be honest. Despite that she also said she was happy for me and didn't want me to feel awkward.

I don't think I have a transverse baby, but last night he was moving about so much that I had to stop sorting out (pre-house move!) and lie down as I couldn't stand up! It was so violent that I actually was able to film it and send it to my OH!

I think a few pages back we were talking about maternity cover. My company will recruit internally to cover me. It's a promotion with less weekend days on the rota. One of the people applying said yesterday I'm just doing it for the rota - hopefully she comes up with a better answer for the interview!

Its so interesting hearing the varied way that employers deal with maternity cover.

My OH works for a big brand at their HQ and their maternity / paternity policies are so good, so there is an option that he can take over the rest of my maternity leave when I come back in January, and probably get a better deal than I did!

Its so frustrating being in a small company with things like this - usually there are so many benefits of being part of a start up, but the lack of any kind of maternity plan (other than SMP) is a definite negative!

@mynameisntLinda yes it is!! I'm all the way in Bollington but DW in Macc stopped doing aquanatal before I got pg and the combination of cheap lessons and nice pool made it worth the journey! Plus DP drives me and waits outside listening to TalkSport lol. Said he doesn't feel comfortable me 'driving all that way in the dark and traffic', he's gone all extra protective since pg but I'm not complaining bc it suits me nicely!! How are your classes in Oldham?

Ooh good shout @danigrace we usually make good time (conveniently my grandma and all my family live up there and bil married a girl up there so all the family get a visit in one hit!) but those 50 mph zones screw us right over. 🙈

@glitterglitters I speak from experience lol. We've been stuck before bc of an accident/roadworks combo and have since gone around such things by having the google maps sat nav app with the updates on sat there quietly but ready to warn us where necessary! Have a goid trip!

@danigrace aww that's very sweet of him. Mine are at 12:00 on a Sunday and only 10 mins from our house so he takes our son somewhere out whilst i'm splashing about lol. They pool is lovely, my almost 2 year old swims with puddle ducks anyway but in radcliffe, their pool has twinkly lights in the ceiling and lights in the pool and is like getting in a nice warm bath lol.
Don't think i've got time for any Yoga, already do aquanatal and will be doing a hypnobirthing refresher course for 4 weeks (starting next week), son swims on a saturday so juggling times with someone who can watch our son is tricky. God knows how i'll fit in the second one going swimming as well as the usual life chores lol

I do pregnancy yoga every Thursday evening, I love it!

@danigrace we're just waiting for the sale to go through properly (surveys, solicitors etc) but we are hoping that it will be a completion date of the end of May, so that we can be in for early June and then have a month before little one arrives (EDD 5th July)!!

That's the plan.. watch this space for stressed messages nearer the time!!!
