Wow! SparklyGothCat you're in the position I'd love to be in (on your way to parenting little person number 4) but my head is in such an odd place I'm questioning what I feel on a second by second basis.

What I mean is I AM TERRIFIED! Does this happen to you? i.e. you want to be pregnant, then you are and then the terror? It happened to me with pregnancy number 1 but I could rationalise it as it's one thing to want to be pregnant and another to be on the way to be a parent forever but now I have to daughters so why oh why I am bricking it?

easywriter · 22/03/2007 13:29

Maybe it's my Catholic background

SparklyGothKat · 22/03/2007 13:35

I get that feeling, I am crapping myself regularly. I don't know if I am doing the right thing sometimes, especially when the kids are playing up. I never wanted another baby after dd2, I was so sure of myself, until I fell pregnant in decmeber after the morning after pill failed. When I lost that baby I was devastated, more than I ever realised I could be. So that changed my mind and I suddenly wanted another baby, which threw me completely. I fell pregnant the first month we tried in feb. And I am overjoyed.

Its not that that scares me, its when my kids are fighting and I feel so stressed, and I am scared that I will not be able to cope.

Hi everyone, scan was fine although it was an internal one as it was so early on. Twas ok but they had a root around to check my ovaries as they have found a cyst on one (perfectly normal apparently)

I am 7 weeks tomorrow- due ont he 8th Nov and I have one dd 3

alittlebitshy · 22/03/2007 17:54

hi all,
I wonder how many we'll be by the time we finish recruiting lol?!
I am 5 weeks today and just cannot believe this has happened - I am so excited. We have only been ttc for 4 months, and i only came off depo a month prior to starting, so this is amazing.
However, i am of an Eeyoreish tendency and cannot believe something i want to happen will actually work out. I am convinced something is going to go wrong, and i am convinced every niggle is a Bad Thing.
I have been having period type niggles, and extra niggles on my left side. Of course these are not even pain, more just something i am noticing but i am convincing myself it is an ectopic pregnancy or something else sinister (I am not taking your recent problems lightly SGK, just being paranoid!!!)

And we have decided not to tell anyone this iome round til 12 weeks (by my calculations we'll have a scan just before dd's birthday, so we can tell her on her birthday and get her to tell the grandparents). It's not as hard as i thought.... Good for me actualy keeping my mouth shut

I just want to get to 12 weeks and see my baby on a scan being healthy and happy in there....

Okay, pananoid waffle over.

SparklyGothKat · 22/03/2007 18:06

Don't be silly, I think that everyone of us is aware of pains and niggles. I would have never thought that you were taking my problems lightly.
DD2 has a sickness bug, I really hope I don't get it, I have enough sickness every day without a bug.

alittlebitshy · 22/03/2007 18:17

god - that would be yukky for you!
how is your stomach coping with the sight of dd2's puke?

SparklyGothKat · 22/03/2007 18:48

emmmmmmmm..... I didn't DH had to clear it up, as I couldn't even be in the bathroom with her.

Jonze · 22/03/2007 19:18
