Congrats @under, exciting To see heartbeats I imagine, but yes, a long and nerve wracking journey ahead. Stay away from google for now and enjoy letting the amazing news sink in.

I'm out. I started spotting last week which progressed to miscarrying on Saturday, confirmed by a scan this morning. Pretty rubbish, but I'm trying to see it as one of those things, and focus on moving forward now. Weirdly I think my dog knew first as he's been really strange with me the last few days, having been cuddly since I got my bfp.

Good luck to everyone else waiting on scans, I hope your news is better than mine. And I hope you all have lovely healthy babies in October

Think I might be offered a new job shortly, I'm 7+1 and dreading telling them. Feels a bit deceitful but I'm not sure anyone would hire me if they knew I was pregnant, there or elsewhere. But I'd definitely want to go back after maternity leave so am hoping it works out ok and they don't hate me forever or find a way to get rid of me (assuming they do hire me lol!)

Had the first actual vomit this morning following a huge roast dinner last night. Was also up all night with indigestion! Starting to feel human again now having consumed everything in sight so it seems the answer is not to let my stomach get empty.

Morning sickness is horrible I'm hoping it's over by the end of the first trimester I'm not sure I'll cope with 7 more months!!

My pet budgie was very pleased for the midnight attention anyway.....!

Hello my lovely ladies. Unfortunately it wasn't good news at my scan today. It showed no progress from last week and although the second sac was slightly bigger than it was last time, it hadn't grown enough to show it was developing normally. No heartbeat seen from the other embryo. I've been unsure which procedure to have but think I'll be going for surgery and hopefully tomorrow if they get back to me soon. Thank you so much for all your well wishes and support, and your general chit chat about pregnancy stuff - you've helped me get through an incredibly difficult week. I wish you all the absolute best with your little beans and hope you all have healthy bouncing babies come October. I may pop back on to keep an eye on how you're all doing over time! I'm so sorry unicorn that you haven't had a happy outcome either. I am joining you on the "not meant to be" train and looking to the future. loopy, go for the job! They can't get rid of you. You have to do what's right for you! Thanks again everyone

I'm so so sorry to hear your news unicorn and emvy.

under made up you've seen two heartbeats but sorry you sound like you've got a long road ahead. Will you have lots of extra monitoring? Not for the same reason but I do know what it's like to have pregnancy concerns and lots of experience of NICU if you ever have any questions in the future.

I finally self referred today, I'd been too nervous to as only 6+1 and having to cancel appointments last time was tough. Still ten days until my early scan.

Yes will have intensive monitoring if twins are confirmed to be mcma and delivery will be no later than 33 weeks if they are so time in NICU/SCBU is a cert.

For now there's literally nothing I can do bit take one day at a time and see how subsequent scans go but on top of a double dose of nausea and fatigue I feel like I've been hit by a bus. I am grateful to have seen heartbeats but am by no means out of the woods yet. I just have to hope either that we defy the odds or that they find a membrane between the twins and they turn out to be plain old MCDA.
