I feel so proud I made it through the day at work without having to go home ill. Guess it's been a good day of not vomiting all the time but still feeling nauseous enough not to worry!

I've been a little quiet lately but wanted to say how very sorry I am for those who have had to bow out of the group already, you are all in my thoughts

I also wanted to wish the very best to emvy and any others who have scans booked this week, I will be keeping everything crossed for you all

I do take comfort from this board so thank you to everyone for your posts, it really helps to know I'm not alone in my anxiety, total rollercoaster emotions, I'm not the only one with symptoms coming and going, going off sex and worrying about how to hide the fact I'm not drinking from my very perceptive friends (I never normally turn down a glass of wine so I'm sure this is an instant giveaway, plus I am a terrible liar and no good at excuses!!!)

Although all our experiences are unique, there are common themes that unite many of us and it has certainly made me feel less alone. It's so hard when no one else knows at this stage, I didn't expect these first few weeks to be so difficult, but we are getting through them even if it feels like forever!

Yes that's a good point mrsbumblebees, time is passing even if it doesn't feel like it! I got my bfp at 4 weeks and now I'm 8 weeks... only the same to go until my scan.

Feeling rough this evening, my sympathies to anyone with morning sickness because I've been feeling nauseous since lunch time which is the longest yet and already fed up! But also have a sore throat so maybe I'm just coming down with something.

Hope everyone has a good insomnia free night and the perfect balance of symptoms in the morning :)

I'm sorry for everyone still suffering with nausea. Mine has started to ease a little. Mostly bad after transport and in the evenings, but getting manageable and I've actually been eating which is reassuring!!

Thinking of emvy and everyone else with scans coming up this week. Really hope it will be a week of good news for all!

Counting down to appointments starting... 3 weeks to booking for me! So excited!! :)

Is anyone in here consultant led? If so when do you/did you get your first appointment through?

Can someone please explain where my pregnancy glow is? I look and feel pasty and bloated, my hair is greasy and I've been getting the odd breakout! Anyone else in the same boat? Also farting like a goodun so really attractive!

I think the glow is a second trimester thing Tigger! I look pasty, and generally feel like I must look a right state because I have no energy to give a shit! :s Also farting loads! I also appear to be gaining many chin whiskers..... which is slightly mortifying!

I'm 7 weeks today, and finding it hard to believe I'm still here. Feels rather crazy that potentially I'm only 3 weeks away from being able to have the Harmony/Iona tests. Desperately hoping that I'm here to stay though. Had a call from my NHS consultant on Friday, who was really really not happy as the treatment plan I'm on via Mr Shehata's clinic even though he has never heard of him or his work and didn't know how to spell his name. Suggested that it's a fluke that after 12 losses this pregnancy has lasted this long and that it's nothing to do with the drugs I'm being prescribed on the NHS as a result of going to an NHS hospital and having specialist tests funded by the NHS! Have calmed down a bit now but it really pisses me off how they are all so blinkered and egotistical and won't ever contemplate that another consultant elsewhere might have done better research and know more than they do.

Roll on the 16th for my next scan, and am booked in for the midwife on the 17th. Really hope I've not jinxed it by booking in.

Had the scan today - all fine! Saw the heartbeat and the bean turned nicely for us whilst sleeping! Super happy I went as I can now relax and not worry that the booking in appt is so late.

Tippety I used My Ultrababy today in Watford. They were fine! Good scanning equipment, knowledgable staff and the sonographer made lots of measurements, and showed me how she could tell I'd ovulated out of my right ovary!

Omg help. I'm itchy and going insane. This sounds rank but round bum area and lady parts I was awake most of the night nearly in tears with frustration and it's started again. I used sudecream but it's so embarrassing. Any ideas on causes and treatments? Have booking in appointment Friday but not sure I can wait that long.

play I'm consultant lead and got my first appointment tomorrow morning. I wouldn't usually have it this early but I've shamelessly asked for one to request a letter advising me not to travel so I can cancel my holiday in June.

I've got my EPU scan on wednesday and dreading it, even though my symptoms are quite strong I can't shake the feeling that something will go wrong, and dh is even worse than me!

Thanks 10 how far are you through? I'm 7 weeks on Tuesday and am surprised given my history I've still yet to hear anything. I rang the ward on Friday and they swear they've never heard of me despite my gp writing twice to them (sent it via email whilst I was sat in the appointment!)

I am 7 weeks at the end of the week and ive yet to hear anything despite my GP referring and I also did it myself.

I think most places are overwhelmed with patients at the moment especially the hospital where I work where I want my care.

Im In exactly the same position regarding a holiday to Mexico in June I need a letter to change. Leaving it to the last minute though I don't want to jinx it! I can chance it up to two weeks before apparently.....

88 I'm the opposite re holidays, need to make sure I can get a letter to allow me to go. But again trying not to think of it, not that I believe in jinxing, but still think it's somehow bad taste for me to be concerned at all about getting to go, as baby's health is obviously my priority.

Tigger same here, hair greasy much more than pre BFP I'm convinced, and after finally becoming happy with my skin, I'm back to square one a little bit! Also farting plenty ....roll on the glow!
