hee hee Mossy heaven forbid the baby being born should interfere with a dr who important episode

Mossie · 07/03/2007 08:47

Well quite. Start as you mean to go on, I say. He'll have to learn to quieten down when DT's on telly at some point, why not teach him from birth?

Chocolatepenny · 07/03/2007 09:48

Hi all, I see its all quite on the baby front today. Anyone's EDD at the end of March? I am 22nd so got a couple of weeks yet.

TheBlonde · 07/03/2007 09:58

Morning all, hopefully we'll hear some baby news later today

No sleep again here. DS slept from 9.30pm - 1.30am in his bed and then moved to ours . I ended up asleep in his bed.

He also managed to crawl under the stairgate at the top of the stairs and narrowly avoided going headfirst down them. Now are you sure none of you want to take him off my hands??

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 07/03/2007 10:02

Hello all got a text from Foxy yesterday but didn't pick it up 'till today . Anyways she had little Monti yesterday in the morning weighing 9lb 5oz and all is well. I'm sure she'll be on soon. So we need to hear from Sazzy now and hopefully Diva soon. Ah. all these lovely babies !!

TheBlonde · 07/03/2007 10:03

Yay! another arrival

eidsvold · 07/03/2007 10:05

congrats to Foxy - when she returns.

Dd2 is more baby obsessed than dd1 - but with dd1 - abstracts really aren't something she deals with. But we have been talking about what will happen when I go into hospital and who will look after them. Telling them that is when the baby will be here.

having some behaviour that can probably be attributed to some anxiety about the baby coming.

Chocolatepenny - my edd is 30 Mar but I am booked for a c-section on 23rd Mar. Will be here for a while then.

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 07/03/2007 10:07

chocolatepenny, I'm due 2 weeks today. It feels like a million years away. I am hoping beyond hope that he isn't as late as the girls.

sazzybee · 07/03/2007 10:08

It's a baby-free zone here
I barely slept as every time I got a twinge I was all 'oooh here we go' but nothing amounted to anything. Bah
So I'm going for another 'brisk walk' (not that I can go fast but it's fast for me) and doing some more bouncing on my ball in the hope of kickstarting some contractions which actually go somewhere.
Hurrah for foxy though! 9lbs 5oz! Look forward to hearing all about it. So diva will be next. Don't hold your breath for me - you'll expire

Piffle · 07/03/2007 10:13

Bet Foxy glad to have Monti out, phew what an effort.
Send her many many congrats

Sazzy sounds like your body was "clearing out" yet another sign.
Christ I'd LOVE a sign LOL

I'm due at the end of march Choc Penny 23rd
But as had dd at 38 wks am wishing and hoping for an earlier delivery...
Without much luck atm...

Was up from 2am - 4.30 with BH's really painful, unable to lie down, unable to sleep through them, then my normal sleepyhead dd got up at 6.15am

So am now doubly tired
have got trashy mags and am going to lie down while she is at nursery this am.

Baby vibes y'all

Mossie · 07/03/2007 10:19

Chocolatepenny, I'm due on 27th March so I've quite a while to go yet!

Kitty that's great news for Foxy - 9 lbs 5 oz that's really big! I hope she got her disco ball labour then!

Sazzy I hope your walk kicks things off for you. But even if not at least it's quite a nice day so hopefully it'll be enjoyable whatever.

Have just taken the dogs for a lovely long walk, over the waste ground (that makes it sound horrible; basically it used to be a colliery many years ago and it has been "reclaimed" so has loads of grass and trees and everything) and loads of trees are going into blossom, you can smell the scent on the breeze - lovely! But I am knackered though, I was out for nearly an hour, the dogs are happy but I think I need to learn to know when to stop!

Today I'm going to pack my hosi bag, and look into tax credits! Excitement abounds!

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 07/03/2007 10:19

Piffle, at least you're getting strong bh's, that's a great sign, so you probably won't go over. I've hardly had any bh's since my foolish waddle round town last week. This really makes me think that I've got way way more than 2 weeks to go

Mossie · 07/03/2007 10:20

X posts Piffle hope you get some rest.

Mossie · 07/03/2007 10:37

Given I don't have any photos of a baby yet, I've stuck some photos of my pets and dh on my profile. I know it's not as exciting!

rosylonginglily · 07/03/2007 10:43

Hurray for Fox! Monti's here that's great news. Big boy too.
I'm getting more frequent BH now but I'd love a 'sign' too

rosylonginglily · 07/03/2007 10:47

Moss your bump is humungous and your pets are so cute and delightful. And of course your dh and the ducks are cute too. Now all you need is a very cute baby and you are all set!

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 07/03/2007 10:53

That's a good sized bump there Mossy

Mossie · 07/03/2007 10:53

Well thank you Rosy - it's not quite Cute Overload yet though... I just want my baby now!

Mossie · 07/03/2007 10:54

Kitty you're not kidding it's bleedin' massive! Still, it takes the emphasis away from my bum!

LunarSea · 07/03/2007 10:55

ChocolatePenny - I'm still due to be around until the 23rd. (Or if work have their way at least until after the 27th as they've got no cover for me for EDD to EDD+4!)

OP posts:
Piffle · 07/03/2007 10:56

The bump is useful for that Mossy, finally my boobs look in proportion to something

Jaysecond · 07/03/2007 11:01

congrats to Foxy!! I hope all is well, am sure we will hear all the gory details in time!! 9lbs 5 oz, perfect weight, mind you i would say that, thats what DD was!!

I too want a sign of something happening, my EDD is Friday, so any ache or twinge and i feel convinced thats it! Going to see MW today, perhaps she will do me a sweep???

DD is a weeee bit better, i think her penicillin is starting to kick in, managed to get all the washing done yesterday and some... DD had frequent naps so i could get on with it, in fact shes having more naps than normal, so i guess her body needs the rest. Have just spent the lat hour and half dusting hoovering, sorting cupboards washing the kitchen floor, now waiting for Mum to get here, shes going to spend time looking after DD while i go to MW and do a few bits and bobs.

Mossy, nice pics, your bump lookslike mine, massive!! I really should try and put some more pics up on my profile, but if anyone wants to have a look at our site then theres pics up there!

Right whos next to pop??? Roll on babies!!!!

Jaysecond · 07/03/2007 11:06

quick joke.....

I liked this one....

Ray Gearing

When Jane initially met Tarzan in the jungle, she was attracted to him, and during her
questions about his life , she asked him how he had sex ?

"Tarzan not know sex" he replied.
Jane explained to him what sex was.
Tarzan said "Oh, ....Tarzan use knot hole in trunk of tree."

Horrified Jane said,
" Tarzan you have it all wrong, but I will show you how to do it properly.

" She took off her clothing and laid down on the ground.
"Here" she said, pointing to her privates, "you must put it in here."

Tarzan removed his loin cloth, showing Jane his considerable manhood, stepped closer to her
And kicked her in the crotch !
Jane rolled around in agony for what seemed like an eternity. Eventually she managed to grasp for air
and screamed "What did you do that for ?"

Tarzan " Check for squirrel. "

rosylonginglily · 07/03/2007 11:13

Jay sounds like you are nesting today! That was me yesterday...today I'm too knackered. I was asking my mother how long after nesting frenzy people give birth and she thinks a few days
Can't believe you posted a joke about being kicked in the crotch! That's a bit close to home

Piffle · 07/03/2007 11:17

Nesting with ds was the next day. I moved furniture and allsorts and it was my mums house
And I cooked a full dinner - which trust me when I was 22 was a HUGE big deal.
With dd I missed nesting altogether as felt rancid

I was wondering the other day as I dismantled ds's electric toothbrush and cleaned it inside and out with a little brush, whether I was nesting...
I have also cleaned out all the bathroom extractor fans with cotton buds.
And done the windows...
Wishful thinking or real
Cannot tell
