OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
divastropwantstodrop · 02/03/2007 20:49

sazzy-sorry,i was just pointing out that my inductions take a long time,so theres no need for anyone to be of me knowing my date.

i will, however, have given birth by friday also.if they try to send me home i'll tell my mum of them.

anyway...what thread ??????????

Piffle · 02/03/2007 21:04

Oh Leo they are gorgeous little lads!

Am at that joyful stage where anything involving staying upright is painful and nigh on impossible - it's done no service to my mood which is short tempered and grumpy...
Dp mentioned the poss of me going overdue, to which I gave him a look which he said could kill.

I have been so convinced this little guy will come earlier than EDD

eeeeks

Boo - I get woken at 4.40 every morning with a doozy then nada....

sazzybee · 02/03/2007 21:05

oh okay diva I tell you what - my mum won't let them send me home without a baby - she'll be up in arms!
9 seats eh kitty? You really should fill them all I think

foxabout2pop · 02/03/2007 21:06

Ooooh someone just suggested that I have sex with Dh and he wears a pineapple ring on it for a labour inducing double-whammy!!!

sazzybee · 02/03/2007 21:07

oh leo - I keep forgetting to say, your boys are beautiful! I cried. I keep crying when I see pictures of babies.

foxabout2pop · 02/03/2007 21:08

I keep crying full stop.

sazzybee · 02/03/2007 21:09

foxy - LOL
you just made me snort!

morocco · 02/03/2007 21:13

hi girls
sorry not to post for ages, been in v antisocial mood and generally narky
saw mw today and all aok, so much so that I might try for a hb, mw is coming on sunday to discuss/bring bag of stuff, just need the all clear on my iron levels
havent told dh that this is the new plan - might just wait til Im in labour and the mw arrive on the door
family trouble is as always a pain in the bum, my family are so ridiculous it is untrue, have had big row with my dad now about some stuff, why they hassle me when about to drop I can't imagine.
oh yes- baby is fully engaged apparently - ooh - I wonder if she will be born sooner rather than later, I thought second/third babies only engaged just before delivery??
lovely news, leo - congrats!! am off to check out photos now, bet they are cuties

divastropwantstodrop · 02/03/2007 21:16

if my dp's saveloy could fit through a pineapple ring then there'd be no point in him coming near blackwall tunnel with it

foxabout2pop · 02/03/2007 21:17

Hi Morocco

My dad is crap too so my fullest sympathies to you, but glad to hear everything is going well

foxabout2pop · 02/03/2007 21:18

Diva - blimey!!!!

Piffle · 02/03/2007 21:21

pmsl @ diva

We had curry tonight not to get this baby out but just cos it's friday and we wanted one.
If I'm getting all night heartburn from blody shredded wheat then sod it I'll throw caution to the wind and eat what the hell I like.

Am v excited about all these imminent EDD's, shows, twinges and things!

foxabout2pop · 02/03/2007 21:26

Piffle - you've made me think of food again.

Might have some onion baji dipped in sauce

divastropwantstodrop · 02/03/2007 21:31

fox-,its not that i dislike onion bahjis or 'sauce',i just think they would be a bit sickly together.

foxabout2pop · 02/03/2007 21:34

Depends where the sauce "came" from

Chocolatepenny · 02/03/2007 21:57

Leo they are cute! really looking forward to my boy now. Funny how we are mostly boys on this March Thread...so conception about July time, hmm could this be a world first discoverey?

sazzybee · 02/03/2007 22:00

you lot are shocking!
chocpenny - it seems to be a general phenomenon. Of my group of friends, there are 10 boys and only 4 girls born in the last 4 years. Those girls are going to have the pick of the bunch aren't they?

foxabout2pop · 02/03/2007 22:03

In DS's class at school there is a class of 22 girls and 8 boys, and another class of 22 boys and 8 girls!

Chocolatepenny · 02/03/2007 22:04

at least worth starting an old wives tale about July being the time to concieve a boy ?.... at my last work place we had a 'Birth sandwich bar' where no childless woman could buy her lunch without falling pregnant within a year. Most of the female staff were in constant states of Gestation...and you could say it worked on me....
Yes theres nothing on telly and I am waffleing on MN

foxabout2pop · 02/03/2007 22:05

Choc- I really wanted to watch the last episode of Lilies, but got sucked into MN instead!

Going to my bed now, nighty night

Chocolatepenny · 02/03/2007 22:06

they will have to go for older ladies then

Chocolatepenny · 02/03/2007 22:11

Night all, going to crawl about on all fours to try turn this baby around now.

LunarSea · 02/03/2007 22:24

ds's year at school is 36 boys to 24 girls. A couple of years above him one of the classes is 22 girls to 8 boys. I'm sure over time it balances out and in 2 or three years time there'll be a glut of girls for our lads to pick from!

Actually I suspect that the real reason is that ds's school is just popular with the parents of boys at the moment because it happens to have quite a high ratio of male teachers/teaching assistants (which is quite unusual in a primary school), and still has proper playing fields which a lot of the primaries here don't have.

Laidback/fox - unfortunately if my replacements/cover don't come up to scratch there's every chance my job will be transferred abroad, and there'll be no job for me to go back to, so it's in my interests that they do actually do a reasonable job of keeping my clients happy.

spongecake · 02/03/2007 23:00

lovely twins leo, and congrats to shanks as well. can't get get comfy and am being stressed out by my sister who has told me unless I organise her transport at my wedding, then my nephew can't come (app he is spoiling things by wanting to come-he is 22) and also she doesn't want to hire a car as its too much hassle. I tried to point out that it was MY WEDDING and we would have enough to worry about but she just said my wedding was causing her one problem after another. my dp doesn;t want her there now and neither do i tbh

is a week after est due date birth too soon to have family to stay for a week? they are very nice btw?

spongecake · 02/03/2007 23:00

sorry v selfish post but can't sleep for all the crap at the moment. my karma is f@@ked
