Happy Friday ladies! Loving all these scan photos - congratulations to everyone with healthy wriggly littlies ❤

I'm 10+3 and have my scan on 9th - I'm so impatient!!

MrsK8541 · 24/02/2017 21:11

Congratulations on more lovely scans! Hope you have all had a good Friday!

I ate some Haribo about 6 hours ago and boy am I paying for it! Heartburn from hell and I can still taste them right down the back of my through vom. Have also had to get out of bed 3 times in the last 20 minutes to wee.

Shwighty1 · 24/02/2017 23:04

Anyone who fancies joining the fb group just drop me a pm with your profile and I'll add you in. The easiest way seems to be to add as a friend, add you to the group then once you're in the group I'll unfriend with no offence intended whatsoever!!

lucy hope you see this x

Lovely announcement Cali!

Am so pleased about all the good scans coming through!

Feeling a bit down today. Dh and I are ratty at one another, dd is tantrumming a lot and I know DH is doing what he can... I just feel a bit trapped, lost and lonely. I do have friends here but it's not the same as at home, everyone has their own crowd and their own family. I know this baby is deeply wanted, I'm just feeling a bit held hostage by feeling knackered and sicky... A bad day for me Sad

Fluffywallow · 25/02/2017 06:10

Fly pregnancy can be very lonely, I completely understand. And it's compounded for you being away from home. Is there anything you can do to give yourself some me time?

Cali lovely announcement Smile

I'm going to put something on Facebook in a few weeks - maybe my DD in a big sister t shirt or something.

Had a nice day yesterday telling some more people, lovely to finally be able to share and let the bump loose!

flymo79 · 25/02/2017 06:25

Thanks fluffy, I feel like dh is giving me plenty of time as I'm so exhausted, I just spend it feeling sick and lonely! What a loser... Am worrying about everything, about how we'll cope with two, with dh back at work, and dd is starting a new nursery in September so a big change for her... There's so much more pregnancy to come and I'm sulking now! Hope I don't go to 42 weeks!!

calimommy · 25/02/2017 06:37

flymo that's very hard. And once you start feeling like that sometimes it somersaults. I've also been much lower this pregnancy, tiredness and nausea are very draining and can suck the good nature straight from my soul. I'm living abroad too, that's tricky. I miss my friends and although we have lots of friends here I dont have any one or two who are the ones 'I text/call if something passes through my mind', if you know what I mean. You can always PM me if you want to have a rant/moan, I'm a very good listener!

Fluffywallow · 25/02/2017 06:51

Fly I am the same if I start thinking too much ahead - I'm trying to just focus on each stage (so for now, the second trimester) as if I start thinking of what I need to do before September (potty training/endless home improvements/moving DD to a new bedroom) I get overwhelmed. I don't even think about the baby arriving just yet - far too scary Shock

And feeling sick is enough to make anyone feel that it's all just not manageable. You are not a loser Flowers

@shwighty1

...sorry to be dim, how do I get onto the Facebook group?xx

Fluffywallow · 25/02/2017 07:07

Also for those waiting for their combined test results, whilst it's only half the picture I noticed on the letter that I was given after my scan, that it had the nuchal fold measurement on it. I've compared it with figures online and it seems low risk so it's reassuring - obviously not 100% but has helped ease my mind a bit.

calimommy · 25/02/2017 07:17

12345 you can email myself, [email protected]
Or one of the others 👍

catathome · 25/02/2017 07:30

Hi all, I've been reading but yet to post, I'm expecting number 3 on September 15th, scan booked for 14th March, glad you are all doing well, it's great to read about others going through the same thing at the same time!!

12345Claire · 25/02/2017 07:31

@Calimommy

Thank you - I've just sent you an email xx

flymo79 · 25/02/2017 07:58

Thank you Cali and fluffy! Much appreciated, sometimes you just need to hear that others feel the same xxxxx

Kskifred · 25/02/2017 08:26

I get totally overwhelmed if i think of all the things that need to be accomplished before baby comes, DS has a speech delay so really trying to get him all the help and support possible whilst i've got the time to dedicate to it, plus he starts full time pre school in September and just the clearing out of spare room/general preparation for a new baby. When i can barely get off the couch because i feel sick and ill most of the time the thought of getting any of these tasks going gives me the sweats!

Taking each day as it comes and if I can function and give DS a fun day I'm happy! I'm really ready to say goodbye to morning sickness now!

ColdFeetWarmHeart · 25/02/2017 08:28

Morning all.

Congratulations on all the lovely scans that have been put up the last few days. So great to see. I can't wait for mine. It's first thing on the 14th - seems like ages away!!! Got my booking in appointment with midwife on 6th.
Nausea has subsided the last few days and the last couple of days I haven't felt as shattered. Which is nice, but worrying at the same time. My womb seems rock hard though. Feels like it's got to my belly button or just above.
10 weeks today

n0ne · 25/02/2017 15:45

I sent you another email, calimommy, as I still can't see the FB group. Maybe I have a settings issue?

OkyDoke · 25/02/2017 16:12

Cali, i have emailed you too hope thats okay!

charlij91 · 25/02/2017 17:20

Love the announcement Cali! This was ours ☺️ It's so nice to finally tell people- and breathe out and wear tighter clothes again 😂

I had my first hormonal breakdown today after spilling paint on the floor, breaking a mirror in B&Q, dropping and breaking EVERY EGG in a box of 12 eggs and realising the sugar bag had a hole in it after it's left a lovely sugar trail across the kitchen floor 🙈 OH found me sat against the fridge in tears and wondered what the hell was going on bless him! What are these babies doing to us eh?! 😂

Frillyhorseyknickers · 25/02/2017 19:41

Ah charli that's lovely!

I have also had a complete shitter of a day and I'm about ready for bed. It's been wet and muddy here and for the last three hours I've been sticking one of the horses back together as he got kicked in the field. DH ducking useless at the sight of blood and to be honest I could have done with a hand - last thing you need when you're knocked up is some deranged animal swinging its feet around your bloody head!

All animals stuck back together and tucked up, dog providing pillow alternative for me ❤🐾

Travelgeek · 25/02/2017 19:54

Well done on the patching up frilly. Dogs do make good snuggly pillows sometimes. My dh is away this weekend and our lab has been all cuddled up with me :)

I hear you all on the overwhelming feeling if you think about how much needs to be done by September. I think its a bad time to think about it when we feel nauseous and knackered. One little step at a time.

I am very pleased to have an almost clean and tidy house after today. Still got to hoover and a couple of laundry loads left but otherwise I'm impressed with my efforts today. Can feel it now though!

Maybe in the coming weeks I will be able to face some of the very very long DIY list we have left from full house renovations...

Lovely announcemnets cali and charli.

flymo79 · 25/02/2017 22:00

Urgh. A new and horrid symptom... Think it might be carpal tunnel syndrome. Never had this before but my forearms are aching and throbbing. No sleep for me last night Angry

flymo79 · 25/02/2017 22:00

Frilly that sounds terrifying!! You brave woman!!

Kskifred · 26/02/2017 07:07

not thrilled with my new morning sickness times, starts in the evening anything up to 2am and then up early with ds, i'm knackered!
