Problem is bright you forget how rubbish it was after a while and before you know it you're broody again!

WishIWasSleeping · 12/02/2017 20:43

Sonnet - I am firmly in your pretending I don't at all need another buggy.. nevermind a double... even though my 1yo uses her buggy to nap in on a regular basis... Hmm
3 months is aaaaggeeessss away... there's so much time to worry about it later! Confused

Autumnsweater · 12/02/2017 20:48

Firmly agree with whoever brought up the BOB method for bras - didn't know it was called that but that's what they do in Bravissimo and I've felt more supported/comfy and better abouty appearance since using their method (even if I buy elsewhere). M&S are rubbish at doing fittings. I went from a 36B to a 30FF a few years ago and haven't looked back, feel so much more comfy and no digging in wires etc (not wearing wires now I'm pregnant though CBA).

1004Rise · 12/02/2017 20:55

Red Amazon have them for just over £20 Grin https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01M5DEISF/ref=oxsccacttitlee1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A2TAAYA65E78U3

Sah1987 · 12/02/2017 21:32

Bright - it depends on your size. You won't be able to get most in marks and spenders as they do big bands and small cups (basically an outdated method when bras didn't have elastic) however Bravissimo and Boux Avenue are both really good for bigger sizes and bravissimo are only retailer who measure to same method

If you want to measure yourself to the boob or bust method the link is here
booborbust.com/
But the Facebook page is really helpful. There are negative people out there but I never would have found my Molke Bra without it and it's the most comfortable bra I've ever worn!

Sorry feel like I'm just talking about boobs today!!

Rustler74 · 12/02/2017 21:38

Sah did you say something about a painful hip? Make sure it's not the tft, as low thyroxine always gives me joint pains!

Badgerbird · 12/02/2017 21:40

Thanks 1004 Smile

Badgerbird · 12/02/2017 22:18

I'm looking for a full size cot that can also go next to bed (with side down) but struggling to find one. Please help!

Sah1987 · 12/02/2017 22:24

Rustler- I've never had that before? But it might be!

It's only when baby is low down, when she's bunched up top it doesn't hurt??

RasperryInAMelon · 12/02/2017 23:14

11pm and sat in the EPU waiting to be seen. Had some bleeding this evening so Midwife has asked me to come in... I shall be cursing my family if this is it! Confused

rasperry I've had bleeding this pregnancy too. You are in the best hands, always best to get checked out. Sending positivity your way & lots of hugs. Xxx 😘

Badgerbird · 12/02/2017 23:28

Oh raspberry hope all ok Hun, must be v scary. Some people do get bleeding and all is ok. Fingers crossed for you and let us know how you get on x

lullaby23 · 13/02/2017 01:02

Good luck raspberry hope all is ok. Keep us updated x

To add to all the boob talk my nipples got much darker in pregnancy but did change back after a few months of BFing - just in case anyone is wondering, I certainly did!

badger do you mean drop side cot or the side to be off entirely? I think you could unscrew the side off most cots but then would need to give a way to tether to your bed for safety. You could ask fatedestiny on the sleep board for advice I know she's keen on this method?

DS is in this cot which drops down m.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-elena-playbead-cot-natural/p/747242 but don't think it drops down far enough to be used as a co sleeper.

savagehk · 13/02/2017 01:45

Hope all ok rasperry. Re cot, we did this with a normal cot, i think one of the Ikea ones gets mentioned as a possibility. Just need to secure it as mentioned so there's no gap between frames and pad out any gap between mattress heights. Ideally a cot with many height settings if you want them to be flush i guess.

Sipperskipper · 13/02/2017 06:28

Hope all ok raspberry, keep us updated.

Barnes79 · 13/02/2017 06:31

Raspberry - hope you and baby are both okay Flowers

teainbed · 13/02/2017 06:37

Oh dear raspberry hope all is ok.

WishIWasSleeping · 13/02/2017 07:06

Hope everything's ok with the two of you Raspberry. Flowers

EsmesBees · 13/02/2017 07:10

Thinking of you raspberry. I had bleeding on and off throughout my last pregnancy and it all turned out ok.

Badger agree with lullaby you can do this with most cots and cot beds. But some have more height settings than others so you avoid a step up or down from the bed to the cot. We'd probably do this instead of getting a co-sleeper crib if we had the space.

Sah1987 · 13/02/2017 07:13

Hope Alls ok Raspberry. X

Brightsmoke · 13/02/2017 07:18

PeachIcedT · 13/02/2017 07:19

growcookeat · 13/02/2017 07:31
