Tilly hoping everything is okay for you x

Turtle sorry about your cat - that's so sad.

Amz - how exciting about your scan, not long to wait!

7 weeks today and I don't know if I imagined it but felt a bit uncomfortable on my front in bed last night. Uterus is apparently the size of an orange at 7 weeks (all being well) so I suppose it might be pressing a bit by now. Plus my dates could be out and I could actually be anywhere up to 8 weeks!

Got my booking in appt next Thursday at 8 weeks. Is anyone else taking older children with them? I can't imagine my 2 year old DD sitting still for an hour!

Jaffacakes1234 · 20/01/2017 08:24

No i Won't be taking my nearly 2 year old to the booking appointment, I did take my then 8 month old to a booking appointment and it was really hard work tbh

Jaffacakes1234 · 20/01/2017 08:25

tilly good luck this morning

Kskifred · 20/01/2017 08:27

Your poor cat Turtle Flowers they are part of your family and i know it's heartbreaking when this happens. I had 4 cats up until a year ago when they all went throughout the year in various ways, the last one went at 13, also run over and got a blood clot. With hormones too this is extra upsetting FlowersFlowersFlowers

sherbertlemon17 · 20/01/2017 08:30

Morning!

Fingers crossed for you this morning Tilly Flowers

Oh Turtle, I'm so sorry to hear about your cat! That really is so sad Sad

6 weeks for me today, and this is about the time sickness started for me last time. Feeling a little nauseaous this morning, but nothing too bad.

DD's back teeth are coming in and suffering with a cold at the same time so DH and I have hardly slept since I got my BFP. It's horrible seeing them in pain, but I just NEED HER TO SLEEP!

MouseLove · 20/01/2017 08:36

Totallylosingit have a look at Amazon. I got a 90 pack of pregnacare for £8.99 - 3 months worth.

Cali your kids post made me giggle.

FrillyHorseyKnickers I've been really gassy, out of each end. Last night my burps sounded like predator. I suppose those are my only symptoms.

Started my meds yesterday after a major scare on Wednesday evening. I had bloods Tuesday morning and they've come back that I'm still showing I'm hyperthyroid. They are concerned for baby so yesterday I spent the day off work, saw my GP and got a plan of action. I'm having a scan tomorrow and seeing the endocrinologist within the next 2 weeks as an urgent referral.

Trying to keep calm, not worry but I'm struggling. I'm just going to keep focused today and hope baby is ok tomorrow. I'll be 7+5 tomorrow at the scan so I should see a heartbeat. I'll be devastated if there isn't one.

Fluffywallow · 20/01/2017 08:37

Thanks Jaffa my MIL was meant to be taking my DD but can't anymore so I'll have to figure something out.

DontBuyANewMumCashmere · 20/01/2017 09:05

Turtle so sorry to hear about your cat. Flowers
Fluffy I got DH to work from home as I don't think DD could have sat still for the duration, but if you could strap yours in to pram with an ipad #shitparenting then it shouldn't be a problem. It surprised me how long it took, despite having all my history from last time...

Re: healthy eating - Don't stress!
Our babies aren't going to be affected by us eating jam donuts for the first three months. I say this from experience. Grin Although once the sickness wears off then it's good to eat a bit more healthily again.
Just eat whatever you can to get you through the nausea/vomiting and you'll be fine.

Jaffacakes1234 · 20/01/2017 09:38

fluffy that's annoying. Fil is looking after mine but even if he cancelled I'll have to get someone else I can't take my 4year old he doesn't know I'm pregnant!

TriJo · 20/01/2017 09:41

I'm out. Started bleeding last night and passed everything this morning, still bleeding quite heavily.

It wasn't really a good time for it but I'm still absolutely gutted.

DontBuyANewMumCashmere · 20/01/2017 09:44

I'm so sorry Tri, awful news. Flowers

MrsK8541 · 20/01/2017 09:55

UnreasonableIsMyMiddleName · 20/01/2017 10:07

puttingourhoodupdown · 20/01/2017 10:13

Shwighty1 · 20/01/2017 10:17

So sorry tri xxx

Gingerbreadmam · 20/01/2017 10:21

Very sorry to hear that tri. Take care of yourself. It's such a sad time. Some great support to be found on mn should you need it Flowers

kep1979 · 20/01/2017 10:32

Tri so sorry Flowers

Turtle sorry about your cat

Tilly good luck for your scan

Batfish no idea if bf does change how they feel, I just know that every time I've been pregnant my boobs absolutely kill, even the cycle I miscarried, but this time they aren't hurting at all. To be fair I am not enjoying bf anymore, strong aversion so maybe that is it? Dd (12 mths a few days ago) actually latched on last night and then pushed me away, I think my supply has dropped quite drastically so she may start to wean herself. Feeling quite emotional about it actually.

Although I am not feeling sick (yet) I feel a bit meh and definitely have food fads starting - craving green vegetables and cheese!

charlij91 · 20/01/2017 10:38

Got my early scan tonight- eek! Absolutely terrified, but keeping all my fingers and toes crossed development is all okay and we get to see a little heartbeat Confused Will keep you all posted!

My sickness completely disappeared when I hit the 6 week mark. For the past fortnight it's just VERY sore boobs, tiredness and tummy aches. I feel the tummy aches disappear when I eat though- just what every woman wants! So at the moment I'm carb stacking through the day like I'm preparing for a winter hibernation Grin. Asif I'm not going to get chunky enough! Hmm

Lules · 20/01/2017 10:44

I'm so sorry Tri

Tiredness has just hit me hard, although that might be because I was up a lot of last night with a poorly toddler. I've had to take the morning off work so will have to make that up at the weekend.

SpringSpringSpring · 20/01/2017 10:49

Thanks for the reassurance ginger, you were right and there was a little heartbeat there. Hope everyone else with scams coming up gets good news at their scans

Gingerbreadmam · 20/01/2017 11:03

Fab news spring so pleased for you. How did you date? Did they find any cause for the spotting or just one of those things?

TotTickle · 20/01/2017 11:40

I'm so sorry Tri 😓

SpringSpringSpring · 20/01/2017 11:49

The date was pretty much as expected, she put it a day later so due on 8 September. And she said the bleeding could be from implantation as there was a little still in the womb. Doesn't make sense to me as surely that was ages ago but I'm just taking away the good news message (and not googling anymore!)

sherbertlemon17 · 20/01/2017 11:51

Look after yourself Tri Flowers
