MrsY87 That's really good the midwife is understanding! There's nothing worse than a bitchy comment!
I've been lucky with my appointments as I have my booking appointment on a Saturday and the early scan I had on a Sunday 😊 My 12week scan is on a weekday but I'm just going to wing that one 🙈 I'm more nervous about how my body has changed so much!! That's what I think has giving me away... I'm sure my boss knows too, she keep asking strange questions x

flymo79 · 08/02/2017 22:26

Oh no cashmere Shock Flowers so sorry xxxx

roobois · 09/02/2017 00:21

I've started another thread for when this one hits 1000 posts . September 2017 #3

calimommy · 09/02/2017 04:51

FYI
The new update thread is under 'Pregnancy' not 'Ante-Natal' clubs 👍

Thanks roobios

Fluffywallow · 09/02/2017 06:17

Thanks roobois

Plodding along here, had a better day yesterday after a rough week so will see what today brings. My bump is enormous by the end of the day so glad work knows so I don't need to worry about hiding it!

I'm insanely thirsty at the moment, can't seem to drink enough water (despite drinking loads!) slightly worried that might be a symptom of gestational diabetes but surely you can't get it this early on?

9+6 here...almost in double digits! Yay!

ADuckNamedSplash · 09/02/2017 06:35

So sorry, cashmere Sad

Re appointments and work - yes, I think mine have been noticed, but from a comment my boss made the other day I think he thinks I'm job hunting! Hopefully a pregnancy announcement will seem like good news if he's expecting a resignation.

I posted a few days ago saying my MS seemed to be improving - just nausea, not vomitting, etc - I clearly spoke too soon...

10+5

Kskifred · 09/02/2017 07:44

Really sorry to hear that cashmere FlowersFlowers

WLMcI · 09/02/2017 07:52

I have an EPU appointment today for a scan. My sypmtoms (what ones I had, which wasn't many!) have dropped off and yesterday I woke up with cramping. Later when there was some (admittedly very light) spotting and lower back pain, I rang the Dr. and she said to go to EPU. Rang EPU and they said I couldn't go in directly to them but had to go to A&E and get referred as appropriate! So I ended up doing that yesterday afternoon and after checking bloods A&E got me a scan appointment for today. As DH says one way or another at least I'll know and the anxiety problems I've been having can maybe be addressed. I have always had issues with this, and recently I feel like I'm hanging by a thread--I drove to work weeping yesterday. Could be (hope it is) hormones! X
10 weeks since LMP today

Tilly2017 · 09/02/2017 08:26

Hi all...

Cashmere I'm so sorry look after yourself Flowers

I'm a bit worried as I'm 10 weeks and this week I have let the stress really get to me and now I've had light pink/brown spotting but on when wiping (sorry if tmi) since yesterday so trying to get hold of midwife/epu to see if I can get checked!!!

Fluffywallow · 09/02/2017 08:27

Will be thinking of you today WLM Flowers

flymo79 · 09/02/2017 08:36

Sorry WLM, fingers crossed. And for you too Tilly

MrsK8541 · 09/02/2017 09:05

Thinking of you today WLM. Got my everything crossed for you.

Travelgeek · 09/02/2017 09:18

So sorry to hear that cashmere

Thanks for the new thread rooibos

Fingers crossed today for you WLM

My nausea is definitely subsiding. No gone, but its not as bad. Had a scan on Monday as I'd had a bit of bleeding, so I know everything was ok then, but can't help worrying. I'm 9+5 today according to the scan. Will be good to see the midwife at my booking appointment next Monday.

I don't know how you're all hiding it from work! It's making my life a lot easier that my line manager knows, but she is very supportive and the rest of the team don't know yet.

Amz26 · 09/02/2017 09:18

WLMcI wishing you lots of luck! Let us know how you get on x

Hope you're ok too Tilly hope you get an appointment at the EPU.. let us know

Also ladies thread is going to run out soon! We've got another thread going on the pregnancy session :)

Fluffywallow · 09/02/2017 09:38

Travel we have almost the same dates and I have also felt slightly better the past couple of days...I still get waves where it's really horrible but it seems to be easing. Fills me with worry obviously and I'm desperately trying to remember if it had got easier by now with my DD! I know it had definitely eased by 11 ish weeks.

9+6

Travelgeek · 09/02/2017 09:52

Thanks fluffy good to hear I'm not alone and that you're mostly feeling better. Hard not to worry, isn't it!

Frillyhorseyknickers · 09/02/2017 10:17

Morning all. Spotting has subsided, symptoms seem to be in full swing this morning, I'm surviving on cream crackers and milk...

Got my scan date through 9th March - A WHOLE MONTH TO WAIT! In a bit of a dilemma this morning - been asked to take a friend's horse on for the next few weeks as she's had a bad accident and broken her leg. The horse is lovely and just up my (non pregnant) street for this coming competition season. I can't turn it down without her raising her eyebrow, and I can't tell her because I don't want to jinx our pregnancy... But I'm meant to be doing less competing not more! DH is going to kill me when I end up with a seventh horse...

charlij91 · 09/02/2017 10:18

So sorry cashmere, do take care of yourself and make sure little one gives you lots of extra cuddles Flowers

10 weeks exactly here. Back on the beige diet after not much appetite, sleep still iffy but a bit better I think. Contemplating sleeping in a bra.

Travelgeek · 09/02/2017 10:54

Oh dear frilly that's quite a dilemma. I totally understand you wanting to jump (pun intented) at the chance but as i'm coming to terms with (kicking and screaming), this isn't going to be a normal year! Would it be very bad to confide in your friend and see if you can come up with another plan for the horse for the season?

Frillyhorseyknickers · 09/02/2017 11:31

Geek I suspect that is what I will end up doing, or fib and tell her I don't have room for another. I haven't quite adjusted to the next few months being completed grounded from the horses, and the rebellious side of me thinks - Zara Phillips carried on competing when she was preggers. But I would never forgive myself if anything happened.

Kskifred · 09/02/2017 11:49

sickness came back after subsiding for a while, around 8+3. 9 weeks today

roobois · 09/02/2017 12:25

Frilly maybe fake an injury or something and say you won't be competing for a while due to it? 7 horses sounds like a dream come true very envious!

My sickness lessened at 9 weeks and comes back every now and then, I have moments when it comes back but it's normally due to my super sense of smell. 11+1 today and scan next Friday seems like ages away I'm so impatient.

Told my team yesterday we only meet up every 2 months so wanted to say in person. they all seem really excited.

oliversmummy26 · 09/02/2017 12:47

I had a scan today at the EPU because of my pink discharge I'd been having...baby was perfect and wriggling tiny arms and legs on the screen almost like he was waving at me! I was soooooo relieved!

Sickness is coming and going now, some days are better than others and it's not all day long anymore which is good. I'm getting more energy, managed to tidy the house and get a load of washing done yesterday!

Back on the beige diet though as it's all I fancy and having a celebratory doughnut Smile

I had to tell my immediate boss yesterday to get the time off this morning but not told anyone else at work. Though it does help that he knows and he's very supportive.
Going to tell my best friend on Monday and can't wait!!
