Congratualtions charli!

Amz26 · 07/02/2017 11:40

Welcome newcomers:)

Same as you Londonexhile I'm not anti-vax but not getting the flu jab done 😬

MrsK8541 my skin has changed a lot I normally have really clear skin but it's really spotty and I have the same thing as you under my armpit 🤔 How strange!

Does anyone have mild stretching pains just under your ribs? I had this a few times and don't know if it's normal? X

charlij91 · 07/02/2017 11:42

Thank you guys!

Flufflywallow Definitely no wedding before baby arrives- I refuse to waddle down the aisle and I can think of nothing worse than trying to squeeze into a tight dress now, let alone in a few months! Wink

I think we're going to concentrate on little bub for now.. I get anxiety thinking of affording a child let alone a wedding, so one step at a time :)

charlij91 · 07/02/2017 11:47

Gingerbreadmam Here you go :) it's a beautiful ring. He's designed it and had it made so it's one of a kind. You can imagine how my hormones reacted- don't think I've stopped crying over the past 3 days!

Congrats Charli and what a beautiful ring!! How exciting! My dh proposed when I was 8 months oh with dd, we got married when she was 9 months old, it was a fabulous whirlwind and I'm so glad we did it in the time I had off work. Totally made it a family affair!

charlij91 · 07/02/2017 14:46

Thank you so much everyone- yet again your messages have made me well up, what is this baby doing to me!! ;) I very luckily got my nails done on Friday- I'm trying to make the most of them before baba comes along and I can't have long pretty claws anymore :(

flymo79 That sounds so lovely.. I love the thought of having little one there. I think this has made me even more nervous for the extra 2 weeks wait for my 12wk scan! I think I'm waiting for something to go wrong!

kep1979 · 07/02/2017 15:42

WhiteLily86 · 07/02/2017 17:04

Congrats Charli :)

Likely a silly question....a few people have mentioned MIssed miscarriages? What are these?

Basically, versus all your symptoms I am very symptomless. I had spotting at 6-7 weeks, not enough for a pad, but enough to get worried.

How do you know if you MMC?

10 weeks today ☺️

Gingerbreadmam · 07/02/2017 17:29

lily basically you dont which is why it is called missed.

usually what happens is the pregnancy ends at a point but your body carried on being pregnant. some point later you may get some bleeding or indication something is wrong but still not miscarry.

a scan would be done if you did have a little bleed and pick up that the pregnancy ended a while ago.

some people dont get any signs and find out at their dating scan.

dont put no symptoms or spotting down to that. ive had it all and varying outcomes. you really can't tell. i think its good to be aware of it incase it did happen but do not be worrying about.it.

this pregnancy i have bled / spotted for 2.5 weeks. Had very mild symptoms where if i didnt know i was pregnant i probably wouldnt even notice them. i had a scan and everything was fine.

please dont worry.

TotTickle · 07/02/2017 18:56

Huge congrats Charlie xx

TotTickle · 07/02/2017 18:57

Correction Charli x

Frillyhorseyknickers · 07/02/2017 19:04

Evening all. Congrats Charli Wine

I've bled a bit more today Sad just brown and not enough to even show on my knickers but I'm worried - should I contact the midwife? There's nothing she can do either way? I've still got all my other symptoms. I've just googled too much and upset myself and convinced myself the worst.

puttingourhoodupdown · 07/02/2017 19:22

frilly try not too worry, it could possibly be so,e old blood and it's been disturbed when you went riding over the weekend?

Congratulations charli, beautiful ring and lovely nails!

puttingourhoodupdown · 07/02/2017 19:22

sherbertlemon17 · 07/02/2017 19:25

Congrats Charli! Brilliant news and a gorgeous ring!

Sorry to hear about your spotting Frilly Sad Brown isn't normally anything to worry about but I would either call your midwife or your GP to see if you can get a scan to put your mind at ease. Flowers

kep1979 · 07/02/2017 19:26

Littlepooch sorry you are feeling so rubbish; I'm really struggling with sickness at the moment so I totally sympathise. I just keep counting down as I know I felt like a new woman from 14 weeks (and loads better by 12!) last time so I'm hoping the same happens again (although I wasn't this ill with any of my previous pregnancies).

Frilly if you are really worried I'd contact your EPU (some are self-referral) or get your GP to refer you (last pregnancy I called my GP and they called me back and called EPU for me). It is probably nothing, but it you are really worrying then I'd say to get checked out to hopefully allay your fears.
