Roobios my mum did exactly the same, I was moaning further up the thread, it caused a massive row as my DH was so angry! She didn't even understand why we were upset! I've moved on now but she got such a telling off I don't think she'd dare tell anyone else! Or would have the good sense not to tell us she had anyway!!

I'm suffering with sickness at the moment, with travelling making it worse! Although last night it was my own fault, took my vitamin right before bed after a tiny dinner....that didn't stay down long!!

I'm still waiting for my scan date to come through - thought I wouldn't have heard by now. Had my booking in appt on the 27th Jan. Want it to come through as I'm 99% sure I'll have to rearrange as in Scotland with work for 4 days in my 12th week!

9+2

Frillyhorseyknickers · 06/02/2017 20:35

Oh my god fluffy I am so whiny this week. My DH has gone to a parish council meeting this evening and actually joked it would be a welcome change to my whinging on. I feel as though I'm falling apart.

sherbertlemon17 · 06/02/2017 21:33

Been a bit quiet on here lately... I'm just so tired! Tonight is a late night for me compared to the last couple of weeks. Been falling asleep around 8 every night and waking at 4:30 without fail! Confused

WarwickAlice I've had two horrendous colds one after the other. Literally the first day I've felt better in 2 weeks! Had a horrible cough along with a cold and have pulled a muscle under my ribs from coughing so much. I asked the midwife if we can take anything and she suggested bloody honey and lemon Sad FML!

Hope you feel better soon Flowers

London it's so annoying isn't it! I spoke to her earlier and she was asking me what people at the party said when I told them and I had to keep saying again and again "I don't know I didn't tell them you did" argh !! She just doesn't get it, so not much I can do. Hope your mum is a bit more understanding now!

Trying not to eat an entire tin of chocolate tonight Confused

Evening ladies. Just caught up on the weekend's posts.

I had some bleeding on Friday and it did panic me even though I knew it was common and it seems like I've not been alone in it.

I gave my GP a call and they were lovely and squeezed me in at the end of the day to check my heart rate and blood pressure and see how urgent it was. She referred me to the EPU for a scan, which was this morning. All Ok!! Very relieved. Was amazing to see the little bean and it's heartbeat. I calculated to be 9 weeks and I measured 9+2.

Next step is booking appointment a week today.

I'm glad I'm not the only one almost conatantly eating to keep the nausea at bay. I really must weigh myself again...

Re: caffeine, I used to be a massive tea drinker. 6 or so cups a day, cut back to one when I found out, then went off it totally. Now some days I have one, some not. Often I will if I'm in a meeting at work and someone makes a round, so it isn't obvious something is up as I would never normally turn down a brew!

It's good to hear how much dtd, or not others, are getting! Thanks for sharing, it's reassured me it's not just me! I've really not been in the mood and feeling so tired and sick that when I've hinted at it, DH has gracefully encouraged me to rest up instead. Saying that, he's been exhausted from work lately too.

And since the bleeding on Friday I think we'll hold out until 12 weeks now, not long now.

lilyborderterrier · 06/02/2017 21:47

I reluctantly had my flu jab today and my arm is killing me, I didn't really want it as with my first pregnancy I got a horrible cold a few days after having it but I was good and had it done. On count down now until the 24th till my scan, I'll be nearly 14 weeks and don't know how I'm going to keep it a secret until then.

flymo79 · 06/02/2017 22:50

I know it's the middle of the night for you all but I just woke up and all my symptoms seem to have gone Sad. Don't feel at all nauseous and boobs are soft and feel normal. Very scary Confused

Carolina80 · 06/02/2017 23:38

Please don't worry. I've had this happen too a couple of times and then a day or two later they come back. It's just fluctuations in hormone levels. Smile

flymo79 · 07/02/2017 05:19

Thanks carolina... Hard to think positively, must also stop googling!!

Fluffywallow · 07/02/2017 05:34

Frilly glad I'm not the only whiny one! My dh is away until Thursday and I expect he's pleased to be away from me Confused

Sherbert I've been doing exactly the same - falling asleep at 8 ish then bam. Wide awake come 4/5am. A right pain but I can barely keep my eyes open come 8pm.

Flymo don't worry about the symptoms dipping, mine definitely fluctuate - I had two reasonably good days last week then all the symptoms came back with avengeance. How many weeks are you? With my DD my symptoms peaked at 9 weeks then eased by 11.5 and were gone by 14....(I kept a diary, that's not from memory!)

Fluffywallow · 07/02/2017 05:36

Lily my flu jab made my arm super sore too, but on the plus side I didn't get any cold symptoms so hopefully you won't either. We're scan day buddies - I have mine on the 24th too!

Kskifred · 07/02/2017 06:13

I get stretching pains almost everyday, sometimes they get more uncomfortable and i worry but they subside again. Need to just chill out with it now and enjoy although it's taking forever.

flymo79 · 07/02/2017 08:47

Wow, fluffy, thought you had a really good memory there! Can't remember symptoms coming and going like this with dd but they may have. Think I'm 9 weeks today. If I've had one symptom today it's RAGE. Totally irrationally angry today... Oh and really fluttery heart. But think I'm casting around for something as I don't feel as pukey...!

ColdFeetWarmHeart · 07/02/2017 08:53

Hi ladies, room for another one?
I'm about 7.5 weeks (had dating scan on saturday) with baby no 2.
Only two people know in RL - hubby and my closest friend. Means I'm going out of my mind at the moment with not being able to say anything, especially why I'm feeling so chappy and shattered!! Going to be a long 5 weeks!!!
I'm hoping being able to discuss (i.e. rant) on here might help me keep my sanity!!

Oh, due about 23rd September :-)

MrsK8541 · 07/02/2017 09:50

Has anyone noticed skin changes? I've just done a big morning stretch and noticed the skin around my armpit is peeling away?! Almost like sunburn ... But not sore at all!

WarwickAlice · 07/02/2017 09:59

Sherbert yes honey and lemon is all I've been taking but it's just not doing the job!! I would really like to use Lemsip - that has always worked for me - but it's got something other than paracetamol in it so I can't take it! Argh, roll on spring!!

littlepooch · 07/02/2017 10:07

Hello all! I've been a bit quiet as I feel so horribly sick. It's awful. I actually cried yesterday I felt so I'll and wanted to take the day off but couldn't. Ugh. I am counting down the days until my 12 week scan on 21st now. But for now bleurgh - I literally can't eat a thing and feel so dehydrated all the time. Id forgotten how draining this part is!

Londonexhile · 07/02/2017 10:29

Is everyone having the flu jab? I said I didn't want it as I've never had flu & people I know who have had it seem to be quite sick from the jab!

I'm not "anti-vax" at all but I'm just not sure about this one!

oliversmummy26 · 07/02/2017 10:32

Mrs & Fluffy I had some funny tummy pains yesterday which I put down to stretching and/or trapped wind/constipation...it was worrying, especially with my lessening symptoms...feel a tiny bit queasy today, but nothing like I have done before. 9+3 today, so perhaps it is just easing up now. Still tired and weeing in the night and sore-ish boobs, so all is not lost! lol

Had my booking in last Wednesday, only took about 20 minutes in the end as she had already copied down all my info from mmc last year. Then just height, weight, blood pressure and she checked my wee and put everything in the computer after I left. Having my bloods taken on 20th when I'll be just over 11 weeks, and scan is booked for 28th. Can't come soon enough!

London I didn't bother as we're coming out of flu season now and it would have been yet another trip to the doctors to cover up at work!

Hi everyone! Great catching up and reading all of the messages- I've been so MIA over the past week so apologies if just catching up.

So nice to hear everyone is having similar issues with DTD- We have a few times but I'm finding that I'm so sensitive it's not really enjoyable. I think other half is frustrated but understanding and being very patient :)

I'm now 11 weeks and my first scan is on 20th so i'll be 13 weeks by then- hate having to wait another 2 weeks :( We had our private one at 8, but I've not had many symptoms so it's driving me insane not knowing how little bean is :(

On a more positive note- it was my birthday this weekend and OH whisked me away for a surprise trip to a lovely country manor. Whilst there he also got down on one knee and proposed! Grin You can imagine my face- first a baby now this?! Good news overload. Very overwhelmed but super excited. Now just eager for the next fortnight to pass so we can share this good news with family and friends :)

Fluffywallow · 07/02/2017 11:09

Oh Charli congratulations!!! Do you think you'll arrange the big day for before baby arrives or after? How exciting Smile

London I had my flu jab at 4 weeks purely because the dr said she'd do it when I first went to say I was pregnant - made sense just to go for it. She said the next flu jab round will start in September (and it'll be a different strain so mine won't cover it) but as I'm due early sept then nothing to worry about. With my DD (born October) I had my flu jab on her due date (she arrived 2 weeks later) More because I wanted to avoid having flu with a newborn than anything though....

oliversmummy26 · 07/02/2017 11:29

Charli congratulations, how lovely! Smile Flowers
