Ow, I've woken up with really bad pain from trapped wind today! On the right side of my stomach. I'm just lying on the sofa feeling sorry for myself!

Kits get moving around to try and get it out! All fours with some bum wiggling... and make sure there isn't anyone standing behind! 😂

Kits try getting down on all fours then bring your chest to the floor so your bum is in the air. Lovely position to release trapped wind

Just back from my 20 week scan and all looked good. It's so detailed! You can see every bone in their tiny little hands! Numbers all close to or slightly above the mean value.

Also had the extra scan on my cervix to see if it's short so I can take part in the study they're doing but it's not short so that's a good thing really!

So excited now!!

The trapped wind and constipation pains are so scary until you realise what's happening!

I just hope I don't have this problem for the next 4 months or so!

Not sure if this will help kits but I had a bit of constipation and really bad trapped wind a while ago and started having fibogel every now and then and it's completely fixed both problems and I feel tonnes better.

How's everyone doing? I've got the Mothercare event on Thursday and will hopefully start getting some of the bigger items then. Told OH to sort some space in the garage for storage.

Still no obvious movement / kicks but at least I saw the little one move at the scan so I'm not too worried. 19 weeks today! I did like this advice in the babycentre email to nap if you need to - I've done precisely that this afternoon!

I've had a nap too Lally! I spend all week working and as soon as the weekend comes around the semi-sleepless nights hit me like a tonne of bricks and all I want to do is sleep!!!

I had another sort out of my wardrobe again today and removed anything which doesn't fit or is getting tight. I won't be wearing it for the next 17 months after all (work wear that is)!

I'm napping where I can! I wish I had somewhere at work to nap, I only need 15-20 minutes but it makes the world of difference.

For those that are feeling movements are you finding them quite erratic? Some days she is really active and others I only feel a couple of nudges every now and again. I think it's too early to have a pattern or to worry about reduced movements but I find myself worrying constantly! 21+1 today.

Thumbs I feel the same, last Saturday I was spoilt by movements all through the day..... then Sunday, think I felt her once just before I went to bed and then very erratic all week. kind of all or nothing!

Thumbs some times it is quite regular but today it has been erratic. I have movement every morning about 20mins after breakfast - must be the tablespoon of honey in the weetabix. I then have some more movement in the evening sat on the sofa watching telly before bedtime. But today I had a fry up for breakfast and I think she wasn't that pleased. She made a half hearted attempt at movement. She is moving now as I type this. 21 wks today.

Been a busy day today. Had an ikea delivery of some of the nursery furniture this morning. We then took stuff to the tip and went to b&q for paint. DH has started on the nursery. He hopes to start painting it next week. I on the the other hand will create a bench cushion for the shelving unit.

We emptied it out before and now theres stuff everywhere! Hoping we can start painting next weekend and then we need a carpet in quick so I can get my house straight again!

Rhodes luckily we don't need to plaster. Dh did remove the carpet but I think I have persuaded him to put it back after the painting of walls and skirting boards instead of buying new. It is a plain wheat coloured one but I figured baby will probably be sick/spit/poo and all other bodily fluids. It perfectly clean, we can get it professionally cleaned if we want to revive it.

Our nursery is getting papered and painted tomorrow! Then we need find carpet, but have spotted some I like so dont think that will take long. The upstairs of my house I a complete tip! I have nursery furniture everywhere and all the stuff that was in the baby's room is now everywhere. We need a trip to the dump too! Can't wait to get my house straight again. Hopefully will be all done in a couple of weeks and I can start to fill the drawers with baby stuff!

The movements I get are pretty erratic too. Sometimes loads and sometimes nothing. Always when I'm sitting on the sofa in the evening though... had quite a bit today but that might be cos I have been laying doing nothing! 22+2 today 💙💗

hi everyone hope you've all had a good weekend!

i'm 19weeks now and have been feeling different flutters/movements just below my belly button could it be my little pip moving or is it unlikely at this point and being my 1st i can't even describe what it feels like :)

I felt movement at 19 weeks so it may well be!!

I'll be 20 weeks on Tuesday and still don't think I've felt anything....trying very hard not to flap about it, and looking forward to scan on Friday for a bit of reassurance...

I've only just, since my scan on Thursday, started feeling movement. They confirmed I've got an anterior placenta though which I had suspected. Looks like we're having another girl as well.

I can feel movement on the outside but not the inside. I wake up and he's really high up, after work he shifts to really low down, nearly hidden

Scan at lunchtime. Can't quite get over the terror. I know MMC at 20 weeks is really unlikely, but wish I either had movements to reassure me (stoopid anterior placenta) or the naivety of not having had a MMC (albeit at 13 weeks) last year.

And I've got a stinking cold. Probably wouldn't have come to work, except that my scan is down the corridor so I might as well stare at my computer and try to achieve something beforehand.

Grump.
