Glad I haven't had any weird dreams! I'm feeling really lucky.

My only symptom, and it is awful is that as soon as I get a tiny bit cold my nipples hurt like someone is biting them! It's agony. It only lasts 10 mins or so until I warm up but it is sooo painful. It happens at work when I go upstairs to get a drink and then I have to sit at my desk trying not to cry / scream!

Seahawk I'm with you there! OMG it's soooooo painful! I've been getting that quite a lot!

Not, I have a dream genii and I just put it in my legs and let the back bit do whatever. It's not really helped to be honest.

On my way back from the event at mamas and papas. Got a goody bag with a free stuffed toy rattle thing, £10 voucher and a few other leaflets with services that I won't be using. They also gave a 10%off voucher to use in the store today or 15% off if over £1500. They then did a presentation on prams, another one on car seats and another on nursery. I already knew about the prams and nursery bits but found the car seat one useful. I worked out that car is so old that I might not be able to use the isofix bases so only seat belt. I think iy doesnt have the clip things in the seat. We will have to leave the car seat in the car. Not a bad thing really, we now probably don't need a complete travel system. Popped into John Lewis and played about with the prams, I had my eye on the vista but my god it is massive! Absolute tank. I think I liked the ocarro in m&p more but we gave to see what dh thinks.

Luci I'm sorry that you get it too, it's the worst isn't it. I've bought some woollen breast bass from Amazon to try - will let you know if it helps! My mum and sisters both had it too. The only positive is that my sister said that it is worse than any pain from breastfeeding and worse than the pain after caesarean so I keep thinking if I can cope with this I can cope with with anything else!

Not my car doesn't have isofix thingys either by DH has looked it up online and apparently you can buy a conversion kit for about £12. Not sure if all cars will have his kinda thing but is definitely possible.

Regarding isofix you can look on the maxi cosi website and put your car in and it will tell you if isofix should be fitted. I think they came in about 2004. We don't have a car as in London but we're v lucky, DH's parents are giving us one of theirs. FIL told me it was new in 1997 but turns out it was 2007 so after all my research turns out we do have isofix already!

It's a girl!

I've got to go back in two weeks as she had her back to us the whole time and they couldn't get all her measurements but they were happy with what she saw.

I'm 19 weeks tomorrow, bump is unmissable now and all going well just usual aches and pains and a little odd numbness in right wrist/fingers.

Hadn't bought anything but then went to a mamas and Papas event with my mum yesterday who insisted on ordering crib and buying changing bag. So I guess the shopping has begun now.

Crib will be delivered early June so I don't have to store it. Still no names, has anyone finalised names yet?

my 20week is on 10th march i'll be just over 21weeks then but feels ages away! although due to a mmc last june and me being extra anxious i get to hear our little pips heartbeat every week!

Bawbles we still just have a list of a few names. I'm not sure when we'll narrow it down, though a couple are emerging as front runners at the moment.

I also want to say - where are my kicks?? Why can't I feel any quickening?! I know it's still early (17+6) and it's my first one, but I want to feel something!

We only had a girl's name picked out so it's worked well for us! We will come up with some back ups though just in case she doesn't suit our choice.

Thumbs Congratulations on your scan and a little girl too! Mine was very wriggly too. I only had a table spoon of honey with cereal but she was like I had downed a 2L bottle of coke. Limbs all over the place, every time the sonographer tried to take a measurement, she moved. She asked me whether I was dying for the toilet, apparently baby was head butting my bladder.

Luci We have a name we like and a short list of other names that might take our fancy if she turns out not to fit the initial name.

Yes we did drive straight to the shops and I picked up a cute romper from Next! We also popped into Mothercare, M&P and John Lewis and tested out the prams. We have decided on a uppababy vista. A lot more I wanted to spend on a pram/carry cot but DH had not liked anything else apart from this. He all so noted that baby is sat quite high up which for someone tall like him was great for his back. We will order it in the next few weeks.

We also popped into ikea and bought the Hemnes 3 drawer chest of drawers(with skubb) boxes for nursery and the Kallax 4 shelf unit in white (with colourful drona boxes) for more storage anticipated toys downstairs.

Congrats on all the girls! I'm very jealous of everyone finding out now! My scan is on Monday and I'm starting to get a bit anxious now as the 12 week scan was such an awful day (short version is got results on day 1/13 for downs 1/14 for Edwards / Patau, had to wait 4 hours and had a cvs that evening).

It doesn't help that I'm working all weekend and my department (business travel) are usually quiet at weekends so time is already dragging. Feeling a bit sorry for myself!
