Evening all I'm going to barge my way right in here. I was all for being on the august boards. However because my babies grow long quickly they insist that number two will arrive around the 25th July. So I'll make friends with everyone on both boards ;)

I'm 34 and this'll be dc2, I have ds who was 4 on Jan 7th.

Think I'm over the worst of the nausea however I Darent take off the travel sickness bands! I'm also living on fizzy vimto to keep the nausea in check too.

Currently dying from a nasty cough cold blocked face poorlies, I hate that you can have no decent medicines during pregnancy.

Thanks luci. I must admit I had a wobble a few days before and thought maybe we could wait to find out, I think having a surprise is really special but im a bit too impatient.
The price included a DVD of the whole 10min scan which she kept swapping to 4d, and turned sound up to hear heartbeat, 2printed pictures but loads more on a cd for us to print ourselves.
DH was a bit freaked out by the 4d , they do look a bit distorted but I think it's amazing. She was all curled up with feet by her face and arm above her head. I'll crop my name off the pic in a min and post it.

Is anyone else feeling a bit snappy?

I've felt myself get short with people a few times the last few days. Always when someone else is being off or rude but usually I wouldn't respond.

Bawbles - definitely, DH has been on the receiving end of most of it. Normally when I've been tired I know it's no excuse, and he's been great about it, but it leaves me feeling bad as I normally wouldn't snap like I seem to be at the moment. He just puts it down to the hard work by body is doing growing another human.

Rhodes congratulations on finding know it is a bit early for us July mums to be but has anyone taken advantage of the baby events? I have just received an email from boots with theirs starting on 1st Feb. I put a box of pampers wipes and a pack of size 1, 2 and 3 nappies into my Tesco online shop. I won't probably get anymore nappies as baby might not even like the brand; however I will stock up on wipes.

SIL gave us her baby bath, more size 1 nappies leftover from her ds and a big bag of toys. We also bought a snuzpod off eBay, we weren't intending on buying it this early but then one came up a few streets down from us, in very good condition so we jumped at the chance. DH is now putting it all up in the loft.

Yep will definitely be looking at boots on Feb 1st! I think there's some other baby events on at the supermarkets at the moment but I'd rather wait and get the boots advantage points.
Ahh I didn't think of eBay when we got our snuzpod, again I got it from boots for the points but we would have prob been better trying eBay as we didn't get the extra points on the snuzpod like you do on all the other baby products so actually wasn't worth it!

I really need to shop around more.

Rhodes yes definitely try eBay. If I can buy anything second then that's where I am looking first. I just couldn't bring myself to pay £199 for something that is used for such a short time. The cotbed will be new but then we will use it for a long time.

We paid £100 for the snuzpod, 4 fitted sheets (in the wash as we I type this) and a mattress protector. We were planning on buying a new mattress to go with it but then the people bought it off were using a cocoonababy inside the snuzpod so it was hardly used so we shall have to think about whether to just make do with the mattress it came with.

Purple yes I am counting 122! That is a lot of us. 124 yummy babies altogether; that is if none of us are harbouring triplets who will all of sudden make their presence known at the 20 week scans !

I hope I'm not the first one to have a baby on this thread I want to see a whole bunch of babies before mine arrives.

It may well be me Luci. Twins are almost always early and 37 weeks is considered full term which would put me at 22nd June! Though I'd be happy to wait longer (although may not feel this way when I'm enormous!!!)

Sometimes I feel a small nudge like gently being touched/small nudge on the inside but I can't put it down to baby. It could be baby but then I'm also windy so it's anyone's guess.

DH caught me the other day staring at my tummy willing it to move . He knows I'm very impatient and he reckons this is one of the biggest tests of my patience in the whole time we have been together. He finds it all very amusing.
