Cinnamon We were told at a few stores when shopping for prams. I definitely didn't get the impression that the prices are going up on 1 January though, just in the first three months of the year. The only two brands we heard this confirmed for are Uppababy and Bugaboo. We didn't get confirmation on the Bugaboo increase but apparently the Uppababy price hike is pretty considerable. You should definitely still be fine for the early January sales!

The price increases must be to do with the state of the pound. Uppababy is an American brand so not surprised it's getting more expensive. They will be worth it though. Great buggy.

Hoping for a bit of reassurance...

I've been getting small sharp twinges in the middle of my lower abdomen for half the day. Anyone else had anything similar?

barnes i get this. Kind of like needling pains, short and sharp. Think I've had them on and off for a while...had them again this evening.
No explanation though... other than things just fusing and growing down there?
I sometimes wonder whether sitting in crap chairs makes it worse. Have they gone now?

Mighty - they keep stopping for an hour or two and then starting again. Fingers crossed it's just stuff growing - I'm already having loads of problems with lax ligaments in my back, knee and wrist so it could just be that in my abdomen?

I can't remember if I've had them persistently but I definitely have quite twingy days, others less so. They're enough to make me do a sharp intake of breath sometimes.
Is your midwife or GP available at the weekend in case you need some proper reassurance?
Anyone else on here experience this?

I've had a few twinges here or there, but when I spoke to my Midwife on Monday she reassured me that it's likely to be ligament pain.

Finally got DH to cave in and we went for a private scan tonight!... we're having a...

Can't tell you till Christmas once we've told our parents!... sorry!!...

and badger I think last time I braved google mine sounded a bit like ligament pain (at least that's what I tell myself). If it gets worse or doesn't go away tomorrow I wouldn't hesitate to get seen though. Having had no previous experience I've no idea what's normal!
