adler I'm feeling rough still, 18 weeks today and still being sick so probably not a good advert for morning sickness finishing early!!

Sixisthemagicnumber · 01/01/2017 16:26

missis I read on another thread (TAAT) that reindeers thread was deleted because she was a previously banned poster. If that is true then it's quite sad that she came onto our thread to post because in all honesty I can't see how our thread appeals to anybody who isn't due around June.

TheTartOfAsgard · 01/01/2017 17:35

Hi, I'm 18 weeks today, due June 4th 2017. Would love to join the fb group if that's ok?
Feel a bit new to all this, even though it's my 3rd pregnancy/baby, my older dc are 12 and 13

Was invited by moonlightmojitos

Hello again, Happy new year to everyone, it will be a very happy new year come June!

I've not been back to this forum much as I spend most of my life on the Hyperemesis support one in pregnancy... New Years resolution is to talk to other women about pregnancy in general... not just vomit!

We've done so much baby sale shopping, I'm 17+4. Bought Moses basket, mendele swing pump, steriliser set, changing mat and a few too many sleepsuit & vest sets.

Have pram, car seat, isofix and ergobaby second hand from a friend too to pick up next time I'm down her way.

Have I gone overboard too early or are there others???

TheTartOfAsgard · 01/01/2017 19:05

I've not bought a thing yet!

VeganMama83 · 01/01/2017 19:16

Tart message me to sort joining the fb group xx

Happy New Year everyone Smile

Sorry for being absent and then returning with a question. Hubby is keen for me to pick out a cot this week or the next. We've just really started looking this past month and I feel it's just too soon. It's not that financially we need to spread the costs it's more because we are very busy people and hardly at home and spare time is a rarity and he just wants us to be organised. Have any of you bought big furniture pieces yet. I'm 18w & 5d

themoonandsixpence · 01/01/2017 20:07

Four cornered square my husband would salute your

Sixisthemagicnumber · 01/01/2017 21:44

moon Thera lots on the Facebook group who have bought big items already. I haven't bought a single thing yet but I plan to buy the pram in the next couple of weeks and we don't need much else as we have a one year old and have kept almost all of his stuff

MoonlightMojitos · 01/01/2017 22:17

All we've got so far is the pram. I didn't plan on buying anything til after the next scan but the one we wanted was in the sale too good to miss really. Going to hold off getting anything else for now and we have nowhere to put anything!

Passmethecrisps · 01/01/2017 22:25

Hi all! Long time no see. Sorry I have been so absent. I actually found that the thread was taking such a long time to load it was putting me off. Anyone else find that? Anyway, I have treated myself to a new phone so I marble around a bit more.

Lovely to hear of sex scans. We haven't decided yet.

I have been in slapped cheek Groundhog Day. Kid at work so blood tests for me then dd woke one day with a rash on her cheek. More blood tests. Fingers crossed it is all a fuss about nothing

I will catch up properly and start actually responding to people hopefully now

phoebe2016 · 02/01/2017 09:42

I'm the same as you Tart, not even considered buying anything yet. I may start to get a few bits after my anomoly scan on 26th Jan. I'm 15 + 5 today and assuming all is ok, but as I'm not feeling movements yet, i still feel nervous. Having awful hip pain at night and started with acid indigestion, so my uterus must be growing well for that to be happening. I had it terribly in my last pregnancies too. We have a sexing scan booked for next week, which we are looking forward to but i will still be nervous until we see the hearbeat again! After the joy of that positive pregnancy test, i just feel like all i've done since is flipping worry! Lol.

lazybutton · 02/01/2017 10:08

Happy New Year everyone!

Vegan - Just to let you know that I've sent you a message about joining f/b too.

I thought this thread had really gone quiet, checked this morning & there's four pages I need to catch up on - must have missed the notifications.

Rose280187 · 02/01/2017 10:22

Hey everyone!! I was on here a month ago had 2 mmc,
Then nothing for a month and then started feeling hungry, sore boobs and have found out via clear blue 1-2 weeks pregnant!!! Don't want to get my hopes up.. will feel better when the clear blue progresses past the 1-2 week mark, my tests never said past this as my hcg levels were low!!!

Oliversmummy26- how are you? Long time no speak!! They shut our original thread and never got to keep in touch to see how you are!!!

Xx

VeganMama83 · 02/01/2017 10:38

Sorry I've been awol for a while, still catching up on posts.

Just seen crisps post about slapped cheek. I'm in the same boat as my nephew came down with the rash on Christmas Eve which meant I had quite a lot of contact with him while he was contagious. I'm still waiting on the blood test results but I'm trying not to worry as I've had my scan and heard the heartbeat since being in contact with him.

I feel it's probably too early but I swear I felt a flutter while I was reading in bed the other morning. It definitely didn't feel like gas so I'm deciding it was the baby (and maybe a sign I shouldn't lay on my stomach anymore).

I'm starting to consider getting a pillow too, thank you for the bounty link.

Is it okay if I send you a message vegan so I can join the fb group too as hopefully I'll be better at posting on there.

14+4

Tomatolover · 02/01/2017 17:00

Congratulations rose x

phoebe2016 · 02/01/2017 18:19

Congratulations Rose! Lovely news. Hope this one sticks for you :)

Passmethecrisps · 02/01/2017 19:36

In just the right position tomato you might have felt something.

The slapped cheek thing is a worry, isn't it. I had my scan the same say as blood tests for one of my 'exposures' but the other one was just the other day so I have no idea. I don't think my dd had it actually. So fingers crossed.

Congrats rose. What brilliant news

catlady15 · 02/01/2017 21:25

Congratulations rose! Thanks for coming back to share Smile

Thebean123 · 03/01/2017 09:17
