So sorry to hear your update Kitty. Take care of yourself Flowers

LemonPoppySeedMuffin · 14/12/2016 08:59

So sorry for your loss Kitty Flowers

DizzyNorthernBird · 14/12/2016 09:00

kitty thanks for coming back to update us, I've been thinking about you. Take care of yourself, really sorry for your loss xx

reindeer I'll post some links when she sends them through. The bit that surprised me most was when the rest of the class were doing planks and side raises (we were doing an old bp release yesterday) she made me do some Pilates moves instead. I know we aren't supposed to lie flat on back or on our tummies but I thought plank would be OK! I suppose it put too much of a strain on the core area?

Anyway, body pump yesterday was a bad idea, it was the first time I've been in 9 weeks, and last night I had an awful nights sleep as my body Started to hurt and I can barely walk this morning as I'm so stiff! I swear it hurts more then it did when I first started!

Need to try to walk into town later to loosen up.

Nervously waiting for this afternoon as I'm going to call the screening midwives to see if my Iona results are back. I'm meeting a friend for nandos at lunch and I'm then Xmas shopping which is a good distraction.

Pugsymalone · 14/12/2016 09:25

Anyone else 15 weeks ️tomorrow? Im hoping it flys for myself and you all too after christmas !
Ive to book my ante natal classes soon but I just keep forgetting
Feeling lots of pressure around the middle of my pelvis today don't know what it could be

Monkeyandthebear · 14/12/2016 10:07

I feel like I am totally at the back of this bus. Today I reached 12 weeks scan tomorrow and as we haven't had any others I am excited to check there is something in there.

I wear a uniform at work and haven't been able to get my trousers done up for a couple of weeks as they are too high up so now for one of those belly band things. Ordered some new workwear but they are two sizes bigger so not fitting them yet. Will be glad when this isn't a secret anymore!!!

Blueskyrain · 14/12/2016 11:23

I'm finally noticing things re getting tighter - I had to change a skirt yesterday because although it was fine standing up, it digs in now when I'm sat down.

Monkey, there are others near the back. I went for my scan on Monday, and they put me ahead a few days, so am now 13 +2.

It's my first, I caved and had a private scan at 10 weeks. I hope your scan goes well tomorrow x

lazybutton · 14/12/2016 12:08

monkey I'm at the back of the bus as well with my 12 week scan tomorrow. Apprehensive more than excited tbh as I'm the wrong side of 30 & no bump. The midwife asked if I was in the right department for my booking appointment as 'I didn't look pregnant'!

RoseBud2016 · 14/12/2016 12:14

Don't worry Monkey I'm at the very back! 11+5 today and my 12 week scan isn't until Monday.
The best of luck for tomorrow!

I got my harmony test back yesterday and I am very low risk for everything! So so relieved! Good luck with yours Dizzy x

HazyHazyJeans · 14/12/2016 12:45

My scan is also tomorrow although going by my early scan, I'll be 13+1 by then

reindeerbitesback · 14/12/2016 14:15

dizzy I'd have thought planks would be fine as well Confused. Good job you mentioned it. I think I'm going to have to get a session with a specialised trainer who can help me in case I've wrongly assumed other things are ok! Worried me now (but thanks for sharing!).

DizzyNorthernBird · 14/12/2016 14:41

Thanks rosebud, I'm going to call them shortly to see if there's any news. So pleased to hear your results were good.

reindeer I've just done a quick Google search and it seems the advice is mixed but the same as with anything, if you're used to it then you should be ok (I've not been in the habit of doing planks for a while now though so I'll give them a miss to be safe).

Monkeyandthebear · 14/12/2016 15:17

I have moved from doing normal planks at Body Balance to on my knees. Was adviced that I need to make adjustements more from about 16 weeks. My instructor is pregnant maybe 26 weeks or so, so is making adjustements ahead of me.

MoonlightMojitos · 14/12/2016 17:53

Just heard the baby with my doppler Grin

HazyHazyJeans · 14/12/2016 18:12

Hope you got your results dizzy thinking of you

DizzyNorthernBird · 14/12/2016 20:06

They didn't have my results yet but when I spoke to them they'd already been chasing them up. They're expecting them through tomorrow and have put a note on my file to make sure someone calls me as soon as they have them.

adlertippa · 14/12/2016 20:29

Monkey and lazy my scan is tomorrow too! Good luck with yours! This is also my first scan, the only contact I've had until now was a crap GPs appointment* I thought I had to have, then one midwife appt. I'm hoping it feels real after tomorrow!

*actually with a healthcare assistant who didn't introduce herself and the first thing she said was 'if you want the result on the spot it'll be £3'. I only wanted a referral! Changed surgeries after that.

adlertippa · 14/12/2016 20:30

Hmm, sorry that last post is difficult to read. I put an asterisk to add a grumpy note about the GP appt and it turned into bold instead...

catlady15 · 14/12/2016 20:49

Very sorry to hear the sad news kitty.

They put me back a couple of days on my scan yesterday so now due on 28th June.

Best of luck for those with scans tomorrow, hope all goes well!

Hermano · 14/12/2016 21:09

Keeping this one off fb group for anonymity reasons...
Does anyone else have thrush? I had it in my 1st pregnancy and have it again now. It's so itchy! I've got through a tube of thrush cream in about 2 weeks.

Please tell me someone else is suffering too?

I'm finally feeling in the mood for sex again but it is very uncomfortable and I have to ask DP to take it out again as his penis feels like it's made of hot metal coated in itching powder.

MundayCakes85 · 14/12/2016 22:02

Hermano I feel your discomfort- I had thrust like symptoms every time I ovulated ttc! It's horrible. Have you tried adding an oatmeal sock thing to your bath (like you'd do for a kid with chicken pox) Also loose cotton clothes and knickerless where possible!

Monkeyandthebear · 15/12/2016 07:42

Scan in an hour. Just drank my pint and a half of water and about to get ready to leave for the hospital. I felt ok yesterday but feel pretty sick with nerves today.

Hope everyone else who has scans today is holding up with the nerves and we all see some beautiful pictures of wriggly little babies later. Grin

lazybutton · 15/12/2016 08:27

With you on the nerves front monkey, was fine last night but shaky now. At the clinic at the moment, appointment in half an hour.

Looking forward to the scan photos later thou! Positive vibes x

DizzyNorthernBird · 15/12/2016 08:28

Good luck monkey and everyone else today!

Passmethecrisps · 15/12/2016 08:32

Morning scan buddies.

Feeling a bit wobbly this morning but what will be will be.
