I think a wee bit of spotting after straining for a poo is ok. But I would call EPU just to run it past them.

My ante/post natal group with dd was so vital to me - getting a non-judgemental group is really useful. I couldn't BF despite desperately wanting to and dd was really quite poorly with CMPI and reflux and the group eithe ron here or our Facebook incarnation were a lifeline. Ditch them preggo. Or, we can all join and have a rebel takeovers

Afternoon all!

I'm so bloody happy! Had my 1st scan today, I've never been so worried in my life but it went perfectly. Two arms, two legs, a beating heart and a big ol' head. Nuchal was also very low risk for Downs, but will need to wait for bloods to confirm. Feel like I can relax a bit for the first time in weeks

Was also measured as bigger than expected, so I've been moved forward by a week & will now be 13 wks tomorrow. New EDD is 15 June (will update spreadsheet).

Couple of scan pics Was super weird seeing it stretch and suck it's thumb already...

Took your advice passmethecrisps and ditched them

Lovely scans ladies, congratulations! So glad to hear tests are coming back low risk too, great news. moose I can't believe the difference in risk between your combined and harmony test results, that's just crazy! So glad all was well in the end, what a stressful time for you.

I got my combined screening results back today, low risk so very happy, just a little concerned that they have recorded my nationality wrong? Isn't that involved in creating the risk factor?

Will add myself to the spreadsheet and PM you Vegan next time I'm on the laptop (usually just use the app on my phone).

Got my 20w scan appointment through for the 17th of January - This pregnancy seems to be going so much quicker than my first!

Nipples - yes i have sore ones too, keep getting intermittent sharp pain in my left one. Its a relief at night to take my bra off! Lol

Can I ask, is everyone doing the pelvic floor squeezes? For those with dds, did it make a difference if you did it before? I've been a bit half hearted so far but trying to remember.

Evening everyone, not been on Mn much this week as have been pretty busy and have been trying to keep up with the FB group instead.

For those of you not on there, I had a shock this week with my screening results. Similar story to Moose except my downs risk was average, but my Edwards/Patau syndrome risk is 1:13. These babies usually miscarry or die soon after birth . So without much hesitation we've opted for the Iona screen and I had my appointment to get my bloods taken last night. Results should be with me by Thursday. Feeling in limbo now, I'm trying to stay positive for the baby and for DP (he's got a lot on his plate at the moment and really doesn't need this worry too) but it's so difficult to think towards the future right now.

Hope the rest of you are doing well, some lovely scan pics coming in there!

I am wearing an elasticated waist skirt (the beloved ruched skirt no less) and I can still feel my middle pinching. If I didn't know better I would think it was a little body in there just under my rib cage.

I have very fond memories of driving to work stuffing a body part back in under my ribs.

I don't have a bump as such but i have a very solid pubic area. My pubic mound is Arthur's seat in scale currently.

I feel so much better today as well. It has been an extremely busy week but - hold the bus - I am not yet in bed!! Woot!

Oh i cross posted dizzy. I am sorry to hear this and I hope you gets your results very quickly.

Hope you're doing ok Dizzy Been thinking about you. Just try not to worry too much, although knowing how I felt last week, I know that's hard.

I'm counting the days until scan on Tuesday. Keep thinking about possible names then telling myself not too count my chickens. It will be my first scan so no idea what to expect!

I thought it had gone rather quiet on here. All us hangers on at the back of the bus!

I've had a lot of progression all of a sudden the past couple of days. Belly has suddenly doubled in size and i can feel my uterus. I can't lie on my belly anymore in bed! Some round ligament pain and I have been breathless, sicky and dizzy today which has been unpleasant. Hoping this is just because of these quite rapid changes and i'm back to normal soon

Oops, 14 + 6 (after 11 weeks you'd think i'd learn!)
