Booked in for another scan today....i know I really need to get a grip and stop booking these scans! Anyway scan was great, baby lying with his hands behind his head!! Amazing to see how chilled out he is in there!!!
Scanner guessed a boy although still slightly too early to tell - gender scan booked for the 17th of this month!
Moose congratulations on the great news!! X

PreggoFeminist86 · 06/12/2016 03:22

Congrats on the good news moose

Snaid Hi fellow ChelWest'er! Small world, eh? Smile

Anyone else keep waking up to pee? Happening to me every night at this time and then I'm awake for at least the next hour. Great excuse for 3am snacks though CakeBiscuitChocolate

HazyHazyJeans · 06/12/2016 08:21

Great news moose!

Good luck to anyone with scans today.

Yes preggo! I was up at that time this morning too although I have a rule of not looking at my phone as then I never get back to sleep! Hmm

ymmv · 06/12/2016 10:25

Thought I'd dig out our spreadsheet. :)

Updated me on the spreadsheet!

Are anyone else's nipples on fire?! It's like I'm being stung repeatedly by a bee! I keep looking at them expecting to be at least swollen ... but wouldn't be surprised if they were hanging off and bleeding profusely. But no, there they are, looking as pink and innocuous as ever.

Passmethecrisps · 06/12/2016 12:07

I still have to shower with my back to the nozzle or my hands on boobs. Nipples are incredibly painful.

MissisBee · 06/12/2016 13:46

Mine have been quite sore although not as bad since I went up a bra size, they're a bit less squashed.
Was meant to be off today but got a phone call from manager at 8.40, someone phoned in sick, could I cover this morning? I'm home again now but knackered. Think I'll go and have a nap. Had 6 things on my to-do list for today, have done one.

MissisBee · 06/12/2016 13:47

Thanks for resurrecting the spreadsheet ymmv

fourcorneredcircle · 06/12/2016 13:55

Oh well, at least it's not just me!

Boobs aren't squashed, bras still fit well and when I got measured a week or so ago (thought that might have been the cause) there was no change :(

I'll just add it to the lengthening list of pregnancy joys!

MrsPotatoHead80 · 06/12/2016 16:37

I need to vent...sorry.

Had another call from the Harmony people to say that despite them telling me last week there was a delay & results would be another 3-5 working days there is an issue with the sample & I need to give another...results will then be another 7-10 working days after that Sad

MrsPotatoHead80 · 06/12/2016 16:41

And I took the dog for a walk wearing my new H&M maternity tights & they've chaffed the tops of my thighs so much I'm having to walk like John Wayne.
I'm feeling very sorry for myself today. Someone tell me to get a grip

MoonlightMojitos · 06/12/2016 17:04

Can someone update me on the sheet please (I still can't do it!) Edd now 31st May and 20 week scan is 13th Jan :)

Tulip2013 · 06/12/2016 19:23

Sorry MrsPotato. That's so annoying about the test and the tights. Last time I didn't bother with maternity tights cos they were so annoying for that reason. Just bought size up and used bump band. But that was for Autumn baby so could go tight-less quite a bit. Not sure this time!

I've told work now so wore a wrap dress to work which shows my tummy. Felt good after hiding it for so long under big baggy tops!

Bodypumpaddict · 06/12/2016 19:47

Had our 12 week scan today... saw a very wriggley little bean Grin feeling over the moon after a weekend of worry, a hospital visit, and the Dr telling me to bed rest Grin

No sore boobs here which is weird (but nice!) as they were very sore with dd1.

Passmethecrisps · 06/12/2016 19:57

lovely to hear of another scan.

No grip for you mrspotato. You need a cuddle, not a grip.

I am determined that I am going to cheer the fuck up. I glowed last pregnancy and I am damned sure I am going to glow this time even if it kills me!

haveacupoftea · 06/12/2016 20:41

mrspotato we all have days were we feel sorry for ourselves..I have one several times a week Blush and you are under a lot of stress waiting on results.

Great to hear the scan went well bodypump

Chuffed with your news moose Xmas Grin

mrspage you are so funny with all the scans! I would have one every day if I could too!

haveacupoftea · 06/12/2016 20:43

My hormones have been going crazy the past week or so, i've got old episodes of Poldark on and practically licking my TV screen BlushXmas Grin

Poppydm · 06/12/2016 20:53

Hey everyone! So glad to hear about your scan Moose. Lovely to hear about and see all of the other scan pics too. Got our downs/Edwards/Pataus and we are classed as low risk so relieved about that. 13+4 today and feeling horrendously bloated. Is anyone else just feeling so round and sluggish? All I'm doing is eating and I feel like a total slob. Working really long hours and just can't get motivated to be active. Need to give my head a shake and sort it out! Sorry for the moan! Hope you're all well x

adlertippa · 06/12/2016 21:19

Hello everyone!

Ok I'm doing it! First ever post! My scan is a week on Thursday but I'm going to be super presumptuous that the unprotected sex, positive tests, lack of periods and weeks of morning sickness might mean that I really am up the duff (11+3)! I think part of me will feel delusional right up until the scan, I can't wait to have it done.

First pregnancy (in case it wasn't obvious, ha), we were trying but only for two months so its all quite overwhelming. We've got a mini road trip to tell our parents the week after the scan, its first grandchild for both side so expecting pandemonium and possibly unhinged last minute Christmas presents.

I've been very lucky to have 3 weeks of serendiptiously booked annual leave that finishes on Thursday - I'd have been screwed otherwise as I've been sick as a dog and I work 12 hour shifts on the ambulances. I'm hoping to get through a run of 4 shifts this week which will see me through to the scan, then I'll tell work and I'll be off the road and checking the expiration dates on medications until I go on maternity leave :/

Lovely to read everyone's posts and see scan pictures, I'm excited to follow everyone's journeys x

PreggoFeminist86 · 06/12/2016 23:44

Welcome to the group aldertippa Smile

PreggoFeminist86 · 06/12/2016 23:54

Also, do we have a Facebook Group going at all? If so I'd love to join.....I joined one for June/July EDDs yesterday and it's just awful and reeeeeally judgey. Like a remake of Mean Girls, except less funny and without ANY Tina Fey Shock

LilyCat43 · 07/12/2016 06:24

I've been pretty quiet up till now. Possibly cos I didn't quite believe it was happening. Lol! Anyway, had my first scan yesterday and got dated at 12+2 so I was only a day out.
Had a bit of spotting on Monday night and again this morning, strangely only seems to be when I wipe and after having a poo... (sorry tmi) it's def not the poo. I say it's spotting it's more like I wipe and it's pink?! Don't know if I should worry or not as they said yesterday everything looked great! I'm also sure that next time I go for a pee there will prob be nothing... is this normal?? Trying not to freak! Oh... I'm a first timer here! In case you couldn't guess!

Due in June, 12 week scans happening and coming up!
Bodypumpaddict · 07/12/2016 07:24

Yes I know what pp means about just feeling fat and bloated. I can't wait for an actual bump to appear so I don't just look like have been eating everything in sight (which incidentally I have!)

Ofsted in today- urrrgh!

Passmethecrisps · 07/12/2016 07:42

Urgh body! Massive sympathy!!

I have a parents evening tonight and have gone for a swishy frock, massive cardigan and a scarf to cover my bulk. My normal school wear is dress suits and heels. I feel ridiculous.
