Hi all

Would someone be able to add me to the Facebook group too? Smile TIA

FriendlyGhost · 27/11/2016 19:58

Hibernating I can if you pm me your email address Smile

Evergreen17 · 27/11/2016 21:28

I have an ergo 360 and a boba wrap sling thing for the house Smile

I need support now Sad. I find my job so stressful and full on with lots of walking and talking to people. They are good to me and I had a meeting where we discussed new adjustments To make my life easier. But I checked and they havent given me these new duties this week yet. I suspect because they dont have enough people but my maternity cover has already started so it is not my fault!!

So I am anxious about facing this week. Because it will be tough.

So I emailed managers and said I had noticed they havent changed my days and now anxious at how they will react to the email when I go in tomorrow or if even they will see it or if they will think I am lazy and so on.

So I just want to stay on bed and feeling sick about going to work Sad

LondonGirl83 · 27/11/2016 22:13

ever sorry to hear you are anxious. I don't think they will think you are lazy. If you let them know you need the new hours to start this week, hopefully, they will make that happen

Evergreen17 · 27/11/2016 22:29

Thanks London. I am a worrier and currently on therapy Sad
I am counting the weeks I have left.
It is very stressful not to know what you are supposed to be doing until you get there Sad and again I have to present something I really dont know well first thing tomorrow Sad
Off to bed

hi everyone lurked for a while finally got time to post due baby #2 on feb 19th not organized at all but having a 4d scan on Sunday and then will definitely know gender nervous anyone else had 4d scan before?

DottyA · 28/11/2016 17:16

Hi all, I've been quiet recently, I know....got out of the habit of checking the thread so I think it's time I joined the fb group. I'll PM Friendly.

Feeling very lucky that I work from home at the moment, I did a few days that involved a commute early on and they were horrible. I'd hate it now too. Flowers to all those struggling with crappy commute/work stuff.

DottyA · 28/11/2016 17:17

Oh, and congratulations Witch!

kikisdelivery · 29/11/2016 11:26

Hi Zahra! I've also been quiet recently.... I find it really hard to keep up with here and the FB group, and because I'm part of a few other (non-baby) groups on FB, I find it easier to keep up with just one site! But I do keep an eye over here too, honest! I know some folks don't like FB or can't get on because of work etc, so I'll do my best to keep up :)

LondonGirl83 · 29/11/2016 18:25

Work has been insane today and because of a bad head cold I've gotten may 3 hours sleep in two days. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow just before a big meeting as well and I need to come in and immediately run some sensitivities...

I am about to literally crash now!

Witch91 · 29/11/2016 22:03

Zahraam86 we had a 4D scan, it was amazing!! We had found out the gender at the 20wk scan, but i did ask them to check just in case! We got loads of still photos, and a DVD which we still haven't watched, although that's mainly because we now have the live version to watch instead Wink

Evergreen17 · 29/11/2016 22:10

London colds are the worst. Mine is already on its third week Sad
Witch how is the bubba doing? Smile

Keepingupwiththejonesys · 30/11/2016 07:10

Morning all, hope everyone is well. I've had a few bad nights lately. I've gotten pregnancy unrelated IBS every pregnancy and its been at its worse this time around. Its gone after the birth every time and I'm praying it does this time coz its been terrible. Used to be just that I'd have to avoid high fat/butter foods like pastries, foods like KFC, keep stuff like cake to a minimum etc. So basically very manageable, just an annoyance. Well, for the past few weeks it seems I'm having to keep dairy to a minimum, I can't even look at things like biscuits, cakes, chocolate etc and any kind of fast food other than subway is put of the question. I know its not 'that' big a deal but sometimes when you just fancy a pizza or whatever it crap. Its really not worth eating it either coz then in the night I'm woken with terrible pains that feel similar to mid labour cramps and I'm on the loo half the night. Sorry to be gross guys, just wanted a moan. Otherwise I'm having a good pregnancy really but I don't think I'll be eating all the nice treats this Christmas!

Evergreen17 · 30/11/2016 08:36

Oh no keepingup it sounds bad Sad, as if we needed extra crap added to this pregnancy fun...

Shellbell0403 · 30/11/2016 08:48

keepingup that doesn't sound good 😣 sending hugs! I had pains across middle of bump last night and through the night... think it was wind 🙈
Still feel uncomfortable... trying not to be paranoid about bubbas movements... had some movement through the night so will see today! Wish they told you how stressful pregnancy can be!

witch hope your little princess is well 👶💖

LondonGirl83 · 30/11/2016 12:25

Keeping sorry about your IBS. I have a friend who has IBS all the time and its miserable for her having to watch what she eats constantly!

I have the opposite problem. I have been fighting constipation for months. I'm on a good cocktail of drugs but I couldn't take them ahead of the OGTT on Monday which threw my entire system off. I hate being constipated! That and my stuffy nose are my most hated pregnancy symptoms.

Scarily I found a small cyst like lump (actually several of them) on my right breast last night. DH looked it up and apparently its normal in pregnancy but I am still going to get it checked by the GP as my former assistant at work got breast cancer while pregnant with her second child so I'm now a bit paranoid. She survived by the way, she's my former assistant because she got promoted to a non-administrative role when she got back from sick / maternity leave!

twocatsandatoddler · 30/11/2016 17:09

London I'm sure it's nothing - pregnancy causes all sorts of weird things to happen to your body, but glad you're getting it checked. Last time a mole on my shoulder went crazy and grew 'arms' so I went to the GP to get it looked it. It turned out to be nothing, and sure enough it went back to normal after the birth, but she praised me for getting it checked just in case. It's not happened again this time round which is weird!

LondonGirl83 · 30/11/2016 17:29

I've got a GP appointment for 9:30am tomorrow which means I am missing a conference I was supposed to attend from 8am until 1pm. I've been sleeping so badly though I am slightly relieved I have a legitimate reason not to go!

I'm sure its nothing-- my mom has incredibly cysty breasts and has 4 biopsies at least over the last 20 years. Its always nothing. I was just hoping I'd escaped the stress of all that. Hopefully, all will return to normal post pregnancy as lumpy boobs are kind of Hmm

Evergreen17 · 30/11/2016 17:36

My bump hurts a bit sometimes when walking. Do I have to buy a bump support band? Which ones are good??
I am now 29+2 and bubba's movements feel a lot weaker. Not less frequent but weaker. Is it because he has less space to move or has changed position?
Anyone else?

Evergreen17 · 30/11/2016 17:38

Oh London sure get it checked for peace of mind but I am sure it has to do with pregnancy, keep us posted.

Shellbell0403 · 30/11/2016 18:23

london I'm sure everything will be fine! Good to get it checked out though!

ever my midwife told me mothercare sell good ones! My bubba is the same

Well today I spent the day at maternity triage! They done a trace on the baby and they have now diagnosed me with spd/pgp... got painkillers and being referred to physio!

LondonGirl83 · 30/11/2016 19:05

ever my baby is the same. I think they have less room fir the really massive kicks. However occasionally I still get a big one. Apparently she is leafy in birth position. On the scan she was head down and facing inwards

Naschkatze · 30/11/2016 19:40

Ever Same here; have been getting fewer big kicks and more things that feel like wriggles. I went in last week because I was worried and all was fine. My bump is still small so I think baby must be quite tight for space!
I have a mothercare bump support band (bought it by accident at the beginning thinking it was one of the ones you could wear over open jeans) it's good for just feeling a bit more supported. I don't know whether you'd want something more substantial if you're getting achy though...

Have a horrible cold and hate not being able to take anything to clear it (I usually rely on sudafed or night nurse in the evening to sleep when I've got a cold!) Feeling quite sorry for myself.. hope everyone else is okay!

Evergreen17 · 30/11/2016 20:29

Thanks shell and london and nasch
Smile good to know it is not just my bubba. I will look into the support bands. Yes, colds without drugs suck!!!

Evergreen17 · 30/11/2016 20:29
