Hi

Well despite trying everything to get our little girl out,we still havent succeeded lol.

I had another scan today,I have another sonic baby.

We have had scans at:

12 weeks-dating and nuchal
19 weeks-anomaly scan
22 weeks-measurement scan
32 weeks-routine scan
34 weeks-growth scan
36 weeks-growth scan
38 weeks-growth scan
39 weeks-growth scan

and we are now booked for a 40 week scan next week to check the fluid levels again. The sonographer says that theres puddles of fluid but its all within normal levels. The consultant says he thinks everythings normal.

At the moment Im suffering with the much increased pressure down below

KirstyMumto2boys · 27/02/2007 16:33

Welcome Kirsty, a late runner indeed!! It's good to have another due at the arse end of March, I won't be so lonely[poor me emoticon]

LaidbackinEngland · 27/02/2007 17:13

Welcome Kirsty !

Fox has been quiet since this morning ... maybe she has managed to squeeze the babe out before it's too inconvenient for her father

Mossy - enjoy your last day tomorrow - be sure to stock up on biros and any other office stationary you may need over the next 6 months

boredwithwaitingforminiMOSSY · 27/02/2007 17:15

Ah Kitty I'll still be here too at the bitter end!

Laidback lol I have my eye on a purple wrist rest!

Now come on, I know we get edgy if someone doesn't post for a while, but half a day?

piffle, re mv/docs appointments, I have to have one every two weeks, so one at 36 weeks and the next one on thursday when I will be 38 weeks and then one at 40 weeks. I have had 2 scans- one at 12 weeks and one at 20 weeks- bit confused at all you ladies getting more appointments- are my docs just saving money? or does anyone else have this?

it was me that mentioned the lovely mr wellar (albeit in same breath as david tennant) The jam won't be the same without him chewing gum and NOT lip synching at the front

diva, sure your mum will be fine, how long is she staying? my out-laws are staying for a week after baby is born (IF baby is born-they are flying over so guessed a date) so am trying to be upbeat and positive

spongecake · 27/02/2007 17:26

think bethoo is being induced today, so hope it goes well for her... and looking forward to hearing about another new baby

divastropwantstodrop · 27/02/2007 17:32

welcome kirsty

sponge-my mum is just going to stay till ive had the baby.last time she booked a week off work and was getting very annoyed when i didnt drop on the first day of induction.in fact,as i was only 1-2 cm dilated after the 3rd pessary they were going to send me home for 24 hours but i begged them to do a sweep and try and get tings moving as my mum was meant to go home on the friday.

yes,my mum got annoyed with me cos my cervix wouldnt respond to the prostin quickly enough...

it used to be the norm to have weekly appts after 36 weeks but it changed about 4 years ago i think.i have weekly appts cos of my high bp history but it's not the norm as far as i know.

boredwithwaitingforminiMOSSY · 27/02/2007 17:33

I thought Bethoo was Thursday! Didn't realise it was so close!

I'm only 36 weeks today, makes me feel so far behind

I'm not sure about mentioning Paul Weller in the same breath as the devine DT! Plus he's over ten years older than DT, too!

OP posts:
boredwithwaitingforminiMOSSY · 27/02/2007 17:35

Diva don't you know your cervix is entirely your fault?

I'm supposed to be having weekly appointments now but due to a problem with the computer at the surgery I can't have one this week. Grrr.... they're so crap!

OP posts:
divastropwantstodrop · 27/02/2007 17:36

oh yes!hope everything is going ok for her.

paul weller....yuk.my sister reckoned my xp looked like him.enough said.

boredwithwaitingforminiMOSSY · 27/02/2007 17:54

Well it's the end of my penultimate day; I'll treat myself to a final toilet trip before loading some of my stuff into plastic bags ready for the journey home!

See you all tomorrow!

OP posts:
Booboobedoo · 27/02/2007 17:57

lol @ a toilet trip being a treat Mossy .

sugarrush · 27/02/2007 18:18

by the time iv finished reading this confusin thread, everyones left! would liked to have joined you. due on 29th of march, sleepin is torture and im sure i cant possibly stretch anymore. measured myself with toilet roll today!

sazzybee · 27/02/2007 18:46

My tummy really hurts today. I'm not sure if it's psychological as I'm measuring 42 weeks but it feels like it's going to split in half. And I feel sick. So I've had a bit of a cry. Poor me and all that
Hello kirsty and sugarrush. Don't panic - you're not too late sugarrush
Ooh how exciting about bethoo - didn't realise it was today.
Spongecake - I've only had a huge number of scans because I had suspected cholestasis and now because of the polyhydramnios. I'd rather have been left alone a bit to be honest! All the scans since my 20 week one haven't been fun at all - they've been measuring the baby and pools of fluid and there's been no time made for going 'aww' at LO so no pics except for some of his skull.

muppetisacat · 27/02/2007 18:46

Back from hospital (via curry house!) just cannot be bothered to cook now. Saw sonographer who wouldn't cancel caesarean until i'd waited another half hour to check with midwife.... who in turn wouldn't cancel caesarean without consulting obstetrician....

GAAAAARRRRGGGGHHHH

End result - he has turned. I have cancelled caesarean.

Mentioned to obstetrician that I had a show yesterday... "OOOhhh, would you like me to examine you?"
"NO" I replied very quickly. Still haven't recovered from the internal on friday thankyou very much.

Now I can just relax and join the rest of you ladies who are just waiting for the big day.....

Booboobedoo · 27/02/2007 18:51

Welcome kirsty and sugarrush!

Sazzy: sorry you're feeling rotten. Have some virtual cake. And a virtual glass of champagne.

Muppet: congrats on sticking to your guns. It'll be worth it!

Just found out that one of my NCT buddies had her baby at 4:30am. The first of us to pop.

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 27/02/2007 18:56

Hi sugarrush

Well, I feel like I'm in trouble today. That walk earlier has not only left me exhausted by has caused an almost constant run of bh's since midday. It is worrying as if I move around they come so strongly I just have to stop. I really hope a rest helps them to settle down.
Both my mum and friend today said they couldn't believe I'd make it to term I'd got so big so quickly. Well that'll be a first.
If he's early I'll eat my hat, or some cake
I cancelled a follow up consultant appointment as I can't see what it would achieve. I have a midwife appointment next week at 38 weeks and then not again until 41 weeks. By then I won't be able to move so I won't go to that one either

TheBlonde · 27/02/2007 19:03

Welcome Kirsty & Sugarrush

Piffle - I saw the MW today at 38 weeks and then my next appt in 40+2 with the consultant followed by 41 with MW (assuming I last that long)

Kitty - I'm having loads of BHs too. Walked for 45 mins this afternoon and the last 10 mins were very very very slow

Muppet - glad to hear LO is indeed the correct way round

rosylonginglily · 27/02/2007 19:10

Hi Kirsty and sugarush!

Good wishes to Bethoo! hope she finds time soon to come on and tell us all about it.
I wonder if Leo and Morocco have had their babies????

Now when is the full moon? Is it this weekend? I'm very excited as got txt from dh saying he is on his way back. Once he gets here, that's it full steam ahead for 17 pineapples, some saveloy, some nipple tweaking and what else can I do? I want to have the baby this weekend!!!

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 27/02/2007 19:11

Hooray Rosy, that's great news

TheBlonde · 27/02/2007 19:14

Oooh the full moon will be March 3rd so not long

Rosy - Glad to hear your DH is returning

I had some thoughts about names yesterday and repacked the hospital bag so I'm feeling kind of ready for a baby now

Chocolatepenny · 27/02/2007 19:25

Hi welcome new bumps. Mossy about snoring, Yes apparently I do since bump got big, but thats cos I'm struggling to breath cos I've rolled onto my back.

shanks313 · 27/02/2007 19:36
