foxabout2pop · 25/02/2007 22:46

Kiwi - congratulations and glad it all went well - ooh how lovely

Where are Bethoo, Booboo, Aime and Leo?

Me thinks we'll have another announcement very soon

Diva - sorry your strange occurrances have developed into labour!! I'm getting odd feelings too but nothing actually happens, despite me eating the equivalent of two pineapples today

Kitty - he's gorgeous but then I like skinny men!

Jay - sorry you're feeling so uncomfortable - sounds like your in a bad way. It'll be over soon lovely and you'll have your body back plus a beautiful bundle to cuddle

OK who watched DT then?

Mossy - I know you did - what did you think?

foxabout2pop · 25/02/2007 22:47

Diva - I mean have NOT developed into labour!!

foxabout2pop · 25/02/2007 22:48

oooh I just wish my waters would go or something - I just want Monti in my arms now!!!

sazzybee · 25/02/2007 23:06

I taped DT. Then I can watch him tomorrow and again the next day if I fancy it
I fully expect that there are some more babies who have happened out there but we don't know yet. I am taking my raspberry leaf tablets 3 times a day. And eating pineapple. This isn't very comfortable this bit is it? I can't believe so many of you have done this so many times!

boredwithwaitingforminiMOSSY · 26/02/2007 06:44

Well, good morning, and firstly a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Kiwibella!!!

It's great everything went well and I look forward to hearing the full story when you're a bit more up to it!

Everyone else - have to make my pack lunch now so will reply properly in work except to say, I didn't get to watch Recovery last night. I had been feeling tired and sick all day, maybe it was the shopping but I am still feeling sick this morning, ended up having a glass of wine to knock me out and went to bed at ten past nine.

Does anyone know if and when it's repeated?

eidsvold · 26/02/2007 06:47

had a lovely time meeting with those new parents and the wee baby is gorgeous. She was just sooo cute - made me want this one out!!

foxabout2pop · 26/02/2007 06:59

Eids that's lovely How old is their baby now? and how often do you see them - is it a one off visit or do they have ongoing contact with you?

Mossy - ooooh you poor thing missing DT . Well I don't know what to say, exept he spent a good deal of Recovery naked!!!

Hi everyone else - have been up since 4.18am .

Am going to clean the fidge and kitchen cupboards today - no not nesting but am worried by dad and stepmum may discover I'm a slut when I go into labour and they hold the fort here

foxabout2pop · 26/02/2007 07:00

sazzy - well done tapong DT last night. I wish I had. It had me in tears a few times (crying not laughing!)

kittywaitsfornumber6 · 26/02/2007 07:09

Morning This morning I woke up on my back . I was very comfy and had completely forgotton that I was preg. I tell you this preg is just not like the others at all. Normally by this stage sleep is an elusive thing indeed .

Glad you enjoyed your prog Foxy

Mossy, sorry you felt too sicky to watch DT, probably for the best eh?

Eids, glad your visit went well, I have seen a couple of newborns recently , I just adore them and want my own now.

I think we have more new arrivals too. either that or the mums in waiting are to huge and fed up to write.

Sazzy, yep this last bit of preg is a REAL drag, but thing is you forget just how hard it is, that's how some of us keep finding ourselves in this position.

eidsvold · 26/02/2007 07:14

their little one is 2 months old. We will still have contact via the association and our local group. They are very keen to meet dd1 and so thought I would organise a picnic for the two families to get together. Basically I will call them every now and then to see how things are going and I am there for them to call whenever they feel the need. They seem really positive compared to some parents I have supported who found it a terrible shock and took a long while to come to terms with their child's diagnosis.

At the moment with no3 on the way - my support is somewhat sporadic but am always available at the end of the phone especially.

rosylonginglily · 26/02/2007 07:20

I had a peak at DT but I knew I wasn't up to an emotive drama so I watched Bridget Jones Diary. DT has something about him which does appeal to me, it's his accent, personality and his talent more than looks. He's great.
When I was watching the rugby those men are half man half beast they are all so tall, musclebound and animal like in their manliness but they are scary!!
Dh is quite a manly build but he's not taller than me so I can wrestle him

Aime is busy with her little baby isn't she, obviously no time for all this chit chat once baby arrives! I am going to miss our ladies in waiting thread!

rosylonginglily · 26/02/2007 07:25

Amie not Aime! now I can't spell! Eids I'm glad it went well with the family you visited.

Sazzy I think there is some hormone that affects your memory after childbirth!!Mother nature is very sneaky

Kitty your body knows you have to sleep! Good body!

boredwithwaitingforminiMOSSY · 26/02/2007 09:35

Ladies,

Quick question, I'm supposed to count ten kicks a day and call the hospital if I don't. Yesterday I only counted eight and this morning he is quiet too, do you think I should call? If they bring me in what do they normally do?

TIA
Mossy xx

Dolly so sorry to hear your dad is not improving atm. Sending you lots of positive vibes.

Jay sorry to hear you have been suffering - having had my c-section cancelled are we back on to being birthing buddies???

Kiwi such lovely news - we really and truly needed another pink one on this thread becos these boys were outnumbering us just a bit! Can't wait to hear all about the event and see a photo or two???

Rosy lol at you "patting" your dh - can't imagine how horrible it would be to catch that now though... perhaps you could wear gloves when you do pat him

Foxy - i have this vision of you jumping up and down with impatience trying to get little monti to come out ... is that what you've been doing???

Mossy sorry you've been feeling rough too. You've obviously been to Dr Foxy who prescribed you some wine! Keep it up... oh and btw... was your cat last week's winner?

David Tenant if you are reading this will you kindly stop tormenting these heavily pregnant and hormonal women by prancing around on national tv with no clothes on. Luckily I am immune to your "charms" but there are a shocking amount who seem not to be. Cut it out.

38+3 (boy)

muppetisacat · 26/02/2007 09:38

Mossy - I've just had that very conversation with my mw cos this little one has slacked right off with the old movements since he turned head down and engaged...

If you are worried you aren't getting your ten movements then she said to phone your local antenatal and you'll probably have to go into your delivery ward to be monitored.

However, she did say that the more you near your due date the less frantic the babes will become...
