Rosy - I'm going to get that verbaudet camera too (thanks for reminding me) its the only digital I can afford atm!!!

Hope they've got some left

Mossy I love your profile - specially the scan pic And you are blonde!! For some reason I'd visualised you with shoulder length curly dark brown hair LOL!!

I admit I can be wrong sometimes (but not to DH)

Muppet: "I think the more children we have the less attentive our partners get because they assume we will cope because we've been through it all b4" - you've hit the nail on the head I think!!

eidsvold · 21/02/2007 11:01

had a moment tonight. Was at the kindy parent committee AGM tonight - cuddling president's 4 week old so she could do the meeting. Another parent asked me how old my baby was!!! I was standing and have a huge belly now. I would be offended if I still had a belly this size 4 weeks after no3 is born!!!

eidsvold · 21/02/2007 11:02

as to hair - my hair this pregnancy is growing like mad and so thick compared to the last two - had it cut so many more times. Have an appt for the week before I have the c-section to get it cut and sorted.

boredwithwaitingforminiMOSSY · 21/02/2007 11:24

Foxy I am blonde, but not naturally that blonde lol! When I'm on maternity leave though I'm going to dye it bright pillarbox red.

I haven't used La Riche since I was a student with bright blue hair, so I think the time has come while I'm not sat in an office!

Eids my hair seems to be growing a tad faster but it hasn't gotten any thicker!

wow, Bethoo... that is very exciting news. Unbelievable too, I guess we will start dropping soon. My due date is 26/2

Actually, bless MIL is obviously confused because she emailed us asking "anything yet" and the wording of the email made it seem like she thought Monday past (which was 19th) was the 26th. I have asked hubs to give her a call to point out her mistake!

Fox, it's funny how you start to build mental images of online friends and then you are shocked when you see the 'real thing'!! Mossy, your hair must be a decent length now? Especially with those pregnancy hormones . I can't picture you with the Britney look.

Great advice Rosy!! Who needs Dr Phil

Hope everyone is having a great day. Not long now.

foxabout2pop · 21/02/2007 11:42

Kiwi - looks like next wek will be when it all starts happening eh?

Moss/Eids - my hair is growing fast but is kind of lank atm

Just de-loused DC's hair yet again. DD 3.5 sayd:

"Mummy, I've got animals (lice) in my hair, they look like BIG crocodiles and keep biting me with their sharp teeth!"

boredwithwaitingforminiMOSSY · 21/02/2007 14:17

Well, for the first time in about two years I took a whole hour for dinner today! I went and sat in a café with a book and drank coffee and had a cup cake! It was like being a student again.

I only did it because my colleagues seem to believe that 'cos I'm only here a week and half a day more, I should do the crappiest of crappy jobs for everyone and run around after them. Do they expect me to wipe their bottoms? You'd think so!

Well in a matter of weeks I'll be wiping someone else's bottom for real so they can sod off!

Kiwi I loved my ultra short 'do. Trouble was, it made me look quite boyish so I felt I had to wear makeup all the time, just so people were sure!!

Foxy my hair is really lank too. But that's nothing new it's always been like that.

foxabout2pop · 21/02/2007 14:28

Me too Moss - I must remember to but "volumising" shampoo LOL!!

boredwithwaitingforminiMOSSY · 21/02/2007 14:32

Lol Foxy I just use whatever's on offer in Asda! They recently did timotea (sp?) two for one, and last week it was sunsilk for a quid each!

Forgive me ladies - quick hijack of thread with message for eidsvold

Want to do recce trip to sydney in summer hols - so july/aug. Within this would like internal flight up north to get some sun for beachy type week - where would be pleasant at that time of year?
Also, have you flown singapore airlines?

Chocolatepenny · 21/02/2007 16:42

Wow love those La Richie hair colours, its been ages since I had wild hair colour possiblt last seen in early art college days. I would like somebody to do a two tone one for me not sure I'd trust myself. My hairdresser has left! I am distraught but I booked a complete chop off 2 wks before he's born (thats my hair not my husbands Willie although theres a thought....)

boredwithwaitingforminiMOSSY · 21/02/2007 16:48

Chocolatepenny I used to use them all the time way way back in my student days!

I can't wait to go pillarbox red again!

Tonight I am going to the Liverpool Women's, for the grand tour! I will be able to see if the rumours about lava lamps are true!!

Lol at the "chop" - I know they ask you about contraception post birth but that's a bridge too far imo!

Muppet your trip sounds lovely!

haircut's my last 'to do ' thing, I think, apart from buy hose for birthpool.
ticked another 2 off today - got cute little mose basket sheets for swaddling and also got nursing bra fitted. I am a 36H - a H!!!!! never been one of those before
not much left to do now, thumb twiddling time approaches

foxabout2pop · 21/02/2007 19:04

Morocco - where did you get your bra?

(I'm a 38G!!)

morocco · 21/02/2007 20:18

hiya foxy, I got someone from the nct to come out and measure me, it's the same price as buying in the shops (well, mabe no if you really shop around, but I didn't notice any difference in price). she was really really good at fitting, unlike stupid woman in blooming marvellous shop who sold me my last bra at size 42 back!!! which is well too big!!! the ra itself has a bit of a 'slingshot' look to it, but I'm sure it will be very practical - also, as dh is not coming near me for first few months, no need for sexy stylee bra

this next part is really tmi, so look away if of yucky dispostion . . ..

went to loo just now and it looks like I've blown my nose in my knickers - gross!!! . all slimy but white, not blood stained or anything. normal???

TheBlonde · 21/02/2007 20:20

oooh maybe it's a show!

sazzybee · 21/02/2007 20:26

Hello everyone

Sorry I've not been around - I've had no net access because I've been at my mum and dad's and then been at the hospital for the last few days because of suspected pre-eclampsia. Now I'm knackered, I've got loads of people to call, I don't want to talk to anyone and I just feel like crying all the time.

Anyway - just wanted to check in with you all - hope everyone's okay. I'm going to read the thread now but in case I fall asleep before I get to the end, thought I'd post first so you know that I'm still pregnant! And he's turned round!! So that's good and one less thing to worry about. Morocco - I only read your post and I don't know what I'm talking about as you know but could that be a show?!

Hopefully I'll be feeling a bit perkier tomorrow

TheBlonde · 21/02/2007 20:32

sazzybee - sorry to hear you've not been well
there was of course speculation that your LO had arrived!

DollyPopsOut · 21/02/2007 20:55

Hello everyone

No news from my mother about my dad I am afraid - he is still very poorly, but at least he hasn't got worse. Thanks for all your kind words.

Am very uncomfortable at the moment. Everything aches and I feel huge. Well, I am huge. Still got over 3 weeks to go. have had the runs for the last couple of days as well. Still eating for Britain of course though.

Hope you are all well. Sorry not to reply to people's posts- have read them but my addled brain can't retain information at the moment.

Take care XXXXXX

foxabout2pop · 21/02/2007 20:56

sazzy - does that mean you have been given the all clear then? we were wondering if you're OK

Morocco - I had an NCT fitting last time and they were fabulous. She didn't measure me, just looked at my norks and got the right size out.

Wonder if its a show then? I get big lumps of gunge sometime too - think I'm a mucousy person

Where's Kitty? Are you still feeling a bit low?

Our reviewd mortgage completed today, the day our fixed rate was due to end with the old one. New one will save us £400 per. month!!!

oh help, ive been trying to catch up with this thread all day but in between ranting on my other thread and going on a 'i must clean' mission around the house i havent got very far

moss/foxy-i pictured you both with curly hair!i want dead straight hair that i dont have to pay a hairdresser to achieve, its not fair

i have also eaten a pineapple today, are we all fed up waiting or something??

im at the ante-natal clinic again in the morning(which is why i wanted the house clean and tidy in case i have to stay in hospital again).i dont know whats going to happen but i havent taken any of those bloody tablets today and i feel like telling her where she can stick them.afternoon nap indeed!

rosy-how long did it take you to suss your man out?i find my dp doesnt respond well to tears atall, the best way to get through to him IME is to be assertive, and never sound like im accusing him of doing anything wrong, just simply pointing out that something he has done has made me feel a certain way

37 weeks today...let the saveloy/pineapple diet begin

divastropwantstodrop · 21/02/2007 21:14

sazzy-are you going to be back and forth to the hospital now till you deliver?or was it something else?hope everything is ok.

Booboobedoo · 21/02/2007 21:27

Birth pool being delivered tomorrow. Also carpet being fitted in baby's room and Community Midwife coming over to check we don't live in a squat. Then I'll be ready to have the baby.

Mossy: I chopped my hair off last Feb, and have now grown it to bob-length. I'm going to grow it long again hoping it'll make me look younger. Yours looks lovely in the photo. Actually, you look just like I pictured you! (Spooky emoticon).

Chocolatebox: we're thinking of moving to your area next year. Well, Dorking way. Hopefully around October time. I love it round there!

Sazzy: hope you're ok. Glad to hear you're out of hospital anyway.

Bethoo: OOOooooooh good luck! You're due the day before me. It all seems so real with definite dates like that.

Dolly: so sorry your Dad's still not improved. Thinking of you and your family.

Diva: I hope your consultant starts taking you more seriously soon.

Foxy: definitely turn on the tears. Wise advice from Rosy methinks. 'Oh, I'm in such a state, I can't cope without you. I need you to be my rock' blag blah blah...

Morocco: I've had a few mucous-y deposits too. I looked it up on Babycentre and I think the show will be blood-tinged.

Hi eids, muppet, Piffle, shanks, magpie, laidback and anyone else I've missed.

Still so stupidly angry atm. Think I should just stick to this thread as I'm taking random offence left, right and centre.

Chill out Booboo, fgs.
