Wow can't believe I'm here 😁 I had a look, but couldn't see any other threads. Hopefully I won't be alone.

This will be our second baby. DS is 3.... 4 in january. EDD should be about 2nd August I think.

Hope I'm not alone for too long!

Yes - I've been really hot at night, and really uncomfortable too. Basically have to lie on my back cos my tummy feels weird if I lie on my side.

Both DH & me have colds at the mo, but he's freezing & I'm boiling! Hopefully the coughing & sneezing will stop soon...

Writerwannabe83 · 18/12/2016 07:25

Normally I'm a really cold person but the other day I was walking around the house in just my trousers and my bra because I was so, so hot! I've been waking in the night really hot and sweaty too.

I'm also poking my boobs numerous times a day to make sure they are still tender.

I'm not having any sickness or nausea but am feeling hungry all the time!

When I was pregnant with DS I didn't have any sickness until I was about 10 weeks and even then it only lasted a week but I was really, really ill with it. My DH used to find me crying in a weak, exhausted heap on the bathroom floor and have to carry me back to bed Sad

Morning all! So far so good here, fingers crossed

hrfvenia · 18/12/2016 11:46

Morning everyone!

7+6 today and feeling relatively okay.

Had my works Christmas do last night and had a bit of a scary moment where I found a little bit of blood when I went to the loo. Panicked and rang boyfriend to come and pick me up, snuck out of venue saying I was going for a cigarette (not many people know about jellybean so was easy enough to get away with) and rang 111 on the way home.

Nothing since then but have been reading back on this thread and found the miscarriage stats which put me at around 2.5% chance which makes me feel so much better!

Booking in appointment on 30th December and just hoping scan is booked in quickly so I can get some reassurance.

Feeling exhausted as only sleeping between 1-3 hour stints and waking up at silly times.

Have very annoyingly developed an aversion to bacon sandwiches 😭😭

Fieldsandgrasses · 18/12/2016 14:00

I've just had a bit of pink blood when I wiped, can only keep fingers crossed. Previous MC and age make me high risk. Scan this week, Tuesday. Only made it to 7 weeks last time (didn't find out till 10 weeks) and that's where I am now.

ThirdThoughts · 18/12/2016 14:18

hrfvenia and fields I hope that the spotting wasn't significant Flowers lots of people do have spotting in perfectly healthy pregnancies but I understand it must be a worry.

No one told me an aversion to bacon sandwiches was a risk of pregnancy! Have you tried unsmoked bacon (I don't like smoked normally anyway).

Fieldsandgrasses · 18/12/2016 14:48

Hrfvenia, keep us posted and good luck. Am tired of worrying about this pregnancy. I think the timing is a worry, too, having to put a brace face on over Christmas, dealing with a miscarriage away from home.

Sara237 · 18/12/2016 15:05

Hi ladies,
Can I join you? Got my bfp 3 weeks ago after second ivf. Still in shock! Terrified and happy at same time. Due caste 18th August. Eek!

GlasgowGeorgie · 18/12/2016 17:55

Huge congratulations- we have the same edd Grin

MulderitsmeX · 18/12/2016 18:45

I'm due 8th August. Symptoms so far - feeling tired then either hungry/no appetite and books have grown! No sickness although only 6+5 weeks.
Only DH knows so far, won't tell parents until 12 week scan. I'm in SW london.

MrsG280516 · 18/12/2016 19:14

Hi to all the newbies! Wow, quite a lot of us now.

OkyDoke · 18/12/2016 19:45

Tentatively throwing my name in here, got a bfp today. AF not due until tomorrow. Due date of 28/8/17 (second wedding anniversary!) according to nhs due date calculator. Will take a couple more over next few days to check. I dont know how to work out how many weeks and days i am?

WantingBaby1 · 18/12/2016 20:08

Welcome newbies! Congratulations! Exciting times.

okydoke to work out your weeks you just count from the first day of your last period. Eg mine was 31 October, meaning I'm 6 + 6 (6 wks 6 days).

Sara237 · 18/12/2016 21:06

Mulderitsme - I haven't had any sickness either but even this early feel knackered and boobs def bigger!
Congrats to all and is anyone else still testing even after lots of bfps? Its like my new hobby - that and knicker checking!

BellyBean · 18/12/2016 21:38

Any thoughts on when to get medical advice on morning sickness? Im only 7 weeks and although I'm only vomiting a couple of times a day that's mostly because I'm barely eating. Nauseous ALL day. I've lost 2lbs in a week and spent most of the weekend in bed.

Can keep some food down, learning what (popcorn yay), and Fanta is fab. But I'm shaky and cold. If I stand or move about I sometimes start heaving. Nearly cried in the work cafe last week cause I couldn't face any of it.

Not ideal with a nearly 3yo!

MochaChocaChino · 18/12/2016 22:18

Oh dear Bellybean that doesn't sound good hope you're ok? Might be worth calling GP or midwife in the morning and getting some advice?

Lots of us on here now #exciting! Smile

OkyDoke · 18/12/2016 23:03

Thank you wanting, that would make me 3+6, still so very early days!

Dizzydaisylou · 19/12/2016 06:39

Hello! Tentatively joining. BFP this morning on an early test. Going by LMP I am 4 weeks today but think I am more like 3 + 5. Had a previous MC before I had my 2yo DS so trying not to get excited yet. Think due date would be around 30 Aug.

SociallyAcceptableCookie · 19/12/2016 07:06

Bellybean it's awful, isn't it? I've lost 3 kg this pregnancy and I have the constant nausea, too. I've made a GP appointment for tomorrow. I think it's a good idea to get seen. They always say it might not last long and be done by 12 weeks, but with ds my sickness lasted till about 24 weeks and some of my friends with HG had it until the day they gave birth.

putputput · 19/12/2016 07:15

Feel for all of you struggling with sickness, have been lucky with that so far. Anyone else constantly going to the loo? I used to be so proud of my steel bladder (shift worker) and now I'm in there every 2 hours!

BellyBean · 19/12/2016 07:18

Last time wasn't so bad. I'd vomit first thing then that would reduce the nausea and as long as I ate regularly it would come and go. Lasted til 15 weeks.

Wouldn't call it HG, managed half a jacket potato and later fish fingers, but had to lie down after to make sure I kept it down!

Put my referral in for the midwife on tue and haven't heard so I'll ring today if I still don't get a call and mention the sickness. Work will be interesting to say the least today!

hrfvenia · 19/12/2016 07:43

Fingers crossed nothing since Saturday night!

Feeling horrific though. Hugs for everyone who's struggling!

Fieldsandgrasses · 19/12/2016 08:23

I'm feeling really crampy @ 7weeks, anyone else?

firsttimer12345 · 19/12/2016 08:38

Crampy on and off here. Phone changed that to cranky. Probably that too!

I'm also very bloated. Looks like I have a bump already but it's definitely just the gas!
