Wow can't believe I'm here 😁 I had a look, but couldn't see any other threads. Hopefully I won't be alone.

This will be our second baby. DS is 3.... 4 in january. EDD should be about 2nd August I think.

Hope I'm not alone for too long!

Hi put! We're sure date buddies! Congratulations to all, I feel amazing today after confirming with a digital yesterday and stopping convincing myself that lines weren't real haha! Symptom wise I'm pretty lacking to be honest, had a few hot flushes and felt a bit jittery and am quite spotty but other than that I feel more normal than I thought I would x

TiredNick · 17/12/2016 07:53

I'm going with terrifying at the moment!!!! Grin

Fieldsandgrasses · 17/12/2016 08:01

Welcome put!

SpaceCats3 · 17/12/2016 08:07

cocochops I've been waking up at 5/530 all week. I don't know if it's my first symptom or a horrible coincidence

Sparklyuggs · 17/12/2016 08:34

I've got my early scan today, I should be about 7+3 (used look so pretty certain amount dates). Feeling excited/nervous!

Nicky883 · 17/12/2016 08:39

Coco i have neen waking up at 5 too since my bfp probably just anxiery !
Scottish might be impantation bleeding ? Hope af stayed away !
Is anyone constantly poling their boobs to see if they are still tender ? Hope i dont do that without thinking in public !

Itsalwayssunny · 17/12/2016 09:04

Coco I've been awake since then too. I'm thinking an afternoon nap might be required later!

My train home from the christmas party was cancelled after waiting an hour so i didn't get home till really late. So tired today and could have done with a lie in. DP still fast asleep of course just to add to my annoyance!

lynseyc83 · 17/12/2016 11:33

Hi everyone EDD 17/08/17 very excited
Not too many symptoms yet
Going to tell family Christmas Day

Brainfried1986 · 17/12/2016 12:02

Welcome new peeps!

Well, threw up for the first time this morning... won't be taking my vitamins until after breakfast from now on! Don't think anyone noticed me slink off to the bathroom. Still not going to tell anyone until a few weeks time - almost wish I was a few weeks further along then I could give my family a Christmas surprise!

Oddly feeling a bit calmer today - think the spotting is easing up, and the first bit of sickness is making it all feel a bit more real :)

ThirdThoughts · 17/12/2016 12:27

My DH now knows, and guessed days ago, my secret keeping abilities are a bit suspect! Nevermind! I also found out last night that my best mate who has also been TTC for some time is late and planning on testing tomorrow, I am so hoping she is too, it would be awesome to have a close pregnancy/baby buddy.

I got a decent night's sleep last night after an appalling week, bet my fitbit reckons its been nicked!

Sparklyuggs · 17/12/2016 13:38

Scan was amazing, I'm 8 weeks today exactly so EDD is 29/07/17. It was amazing to see the heartbeat and I think it really helped DH to see the image and video of the heartbeat. Still going to wait until the 12 week scan to announce it but close family and two friends know already.

heatherxo · 17/12/2016 14:12

Hello ladies, can I join the club?
Thinking I'm around 6/7 weeks now. Things are hectic though! I have an 18 month old son, so I'm excited for him to have a little friend!
Smile

ZigAZigAhh · 17/12/2016 15:16

Hi all - can I join?

Got my BFP about half an hour ago and am in shock even though I have "known" (just from a very strong gut feeling and experiencing pretty clear symptoms) that I was expecting for about a week. It was our first month "not not trying" and I was honestly expecting it to take a good 6-12 months for anything to happen.

We have an 18 month old DS who will hopefully be happy to have a sibling (!)

Judging from my last AF I am 4+5 - feeling v queasy on and off already. Trying to work out how I am going to get through the rest of the Christmas/New Year period without anyone noticing I have stopped drinking...

Heatherbaby · 17/12/2016 15:18

Hi everyone and welcome and congrats to newcomers!

sparklyuggs must have been amazing to see the heartbeat! Makes it all the more real!

I'm going to hold off any early scanning and wait for my 12w scan.

How are everyone's symptoms? I'm 6 +3. Had 2 days of sickness and 2 days of mild nausea but feel so so knackered! I've found that eating has helped me not be sick. Jacobs crackers help me fill up when I can't stomach much else.

Absolutely dreading being back at work on Monday having puked in my work bin on weds Blush

Hope everyone is well. X

TiredNick · 17/12/2016 17:21

Hi I was thinking I have had no symptoms at all so far, but then this afternoon some quite strong cramps, which I hope are just normal - not done this before so don't know! I am officially 4+3 and starting to sink in a bit now

lynseyc83 · 17/12/2016 20:13

Found out is was pregnant on Monday - all my tests have been faint positives except a clear blue - which said I was 1-2 weeks.
Just tested again and line still faint positive
I thought it would be getting stronger!! Slightly worried

Cocochops · 17/12/2016 20:17

Evening all. Great news re the scan sparkly uggs fab news.

I was half thinking about having a scan late next week just to have reassurance before telling parents at Xmas. Think I have decided against it though as I will only be 7 weeks and if they tell me it's too early and need to come back then don't really want that hanging over me at Xmas.

What's everyone up to this eve? Kids are in bed fire is lit I am in my pjs about to watch the strictly final - bliss! Only thing missing is a glass of wineWine

Cocochops · 17/12/2016 20:19

How far along do you think you are lynsey?

Sparklyuggs · 17/12/2016 20:22

Thanks cocochops I was glad I did it!

Ladies, my clear blue digital was inaccurate for my dates and apparently it's quite common- the pregnancy part is very accurate but the date isn't as accurate.

I'm lying on the sofa watching strictly whilst everyone has gone out. Bliss Smile

lynseyc83 · 17/12/2016 20:23

My lmp was 10/11/16 but my body is still getting over giving birth in July (stillborn)
Just worried I might mc

onlymrsmac · 17/12/2016 20:42

Just found out today I am 4+5 due on 21st August

Congratulations to you all

Can't believe I am on here after 12 months of trying

Fattycowagain · 17/12/2016 21:37

Clearblue Digital tests are notorious for getting it wrong! I have heard countless stories of them coming up as negative while all other tests were positive. Or for giving the wrong dates. Or for not making it more clear that the timeframe on them is from conception and that you need to add two weeks to it...

sandsandwiches · 17/12/2016 22:38

Congrats to all the newbies! So sorry about your stillborn lynsey no wonder you're anxious. It took a good two weeks before my line got darker (&extreme patience not to test twice a day). Hopefully if you leave it a few more days you'll see a difference.

Sympathies to all those with hideous nausea too. I've been off work all weekend feeling guilty being too sick to do night shifts but as soon as I move I'm sick and it's driving me nuts. Almost 8 weeks though really hope it settles down soon.

Laughing at boob comment too nicky I have def had some odd looks poking them in public Blush even with nausea I keep thinking it might be stomach bug and can't be good for baby but as long as boobs are still sore it's ok....

Carlotta82248 · 17/12/2016 22:46

Is anyone else absolutely boiling?!?

ZigAZigAhh · 17/12/2016 23:12

Carlotta - yes! When I'm not freezing that is, I seem to be fluctuating constantly between the two. Along with this nausea and just generally feeling off I would swear I was getting the flu if it wasn't for my BFP...
