Wow can't believe I'm here 😁 I had a look, but couldn't see any other threads. Hopefully I won't be alone.

This will be our second baby. DS is 3.... 4 in january. EDD should be about 2nd August I think.

Hope I'm not alone for too long!

So sorry. I've been there three times and it's bloody awful.
I'm cramping like mad but I always do and I always convince myself it's so bad I'm definitely mc. Hoping it'll ease off because it's not helping my mental state.

Oh dear, how long are you away for? Do you think you can keep it from them? We've told our parents but we aren't sure when to tell the rest of the fam!

Sad news robindeer have you seen your doctor?

alex all those symptoms sound normal but also can be signs of other things so best to take advice from your GP or mw if you have one already.

Hope everyone else is well? I have zero symptoms. I am officially 4 weeks and really about 3 weeks so imagine it's far too early for symptoms. Xx

By the way, when you refer to weeks do you start from day 1 of last period or when you think conception happened. I like to read about exactly which stage of development so it's confusing

Just catching up on the thread as I'm on holiday somewhere with almost no internet & you ladies move fast! Also have awful nausea and vomiting but not sure if it's travel or baby related so now worried I feel ill without the benefit of at least thinking it's a symptom Sorry to everyone else struggling. The first 12 weeks are the hardest and so uncertain I think... at least near the end you're uncomfortable but pretty sure you're at least getting a baby out of it. & to all those soldioring on. I'm edd 1.8 but was 2 weeks late with DD1. I'd be up for an Aug fb group too. Still great friends with my group from dd1 - much better than nct!

lizzie you poor thing. Can you call your midwife team or go to the local hospital? It's such a heart wrenching process isn't it?

Possibly jinxing myself but hello everyone, 5 weeks tomorrow with an EDD of 11 August. We've been trying to conceive for over 2 years and have had 2 miscarriages at 5 and 6 weeks so I am not very positive about this one but am keeping everything crossed and trying not to be too obsessive about knicker checking etc. Fewer symptoms than last 2 times limited to back ache and tiredness at the moment, which is making me poor paranoid but I'll miss it when the nausea sets in I'm sure

Robindeer I'm so sorry you're going through this. have you seen a doctor/been to a&e? Although bleeding and cramps are very distressing they don't necessarily mean a miscarriage so you should definitely get yourself checked out.

Congratulations to others, especially kezmarie - I hope all goes smoothly from here. I developed severe anxiety after a year of trying and have been a horrid bitter person at times since so can only imagine what you've gone through..

lizzie I've just seen your message as well, I'm so sorry and have been there, be kind to yourself and I hope you have some support. As with robindeer do get yourself checked out if you haven't already. Thinking of you.
