This weeks resolution for me is to get off my bum and organise my life.

Thanks SKY. My friend has just been to see Sound of Music. She didn't even really want to go and ended up loving it. You'll have a lovely time.

why is it when ur on your own u manage to get house tidy and clean and lovely - yet as soon as someone says they are visiting it all goes pear shaped - cant manage to get anything how it should be

The thread is quite just now isn't it? I'm the opposite Lillaura, the place is a tip unless someone is coming round and then I use that as an incentive to have a whirlwind tidy up.

DS must have been mixing up the teabags again, just made myself a cup of blackberry and nettle tea with milk,Yuck!

Don't worry, if I'm eating a biscuit I make sure I catch all the crumbs

yuck - dh did that to me once blackcurrant and rubarb with milk - shudder at the thought

just as bad a a cup of coftea not a nice combination

Think I have been nesting last 2 days, have been having clearouts, my bedroom has never been so clear of clutter

ewwww i hate coftea - especially with my heightened taste buds, dp is under strict instructions to rinse spoon b4 taking out my t bag

early nesting must be catching over the last two weeks iv swapped bedrooms over dismantled furniture - painted walls hung up all of babies bits and pieces wouldnt say iv quite de cluttered yet but im on a mission to become ruthless this wknd as to throwing things out

please say there is ham sandwiches with fresh cold crunchy lettuce (my craving in RL)

Well, I've been on a course this morning ('How To Sleep With Your Eyes Open' I think it was called or it might have been something to do with website design, I forget) and I come back to find that you're not really holding up the chatty fort. I can't believe how many 'my DH is a git' posts we're getting just recently. My DH is a lovely, charming, kind, wonderful, helpful soul (and all the time he's threatening to join Mumsnet that will be the official party line, he may read this after all).

I don't know if you all read it on the other thread, but your meet-up has been cancelled due to a very localised typhoon in the Waterloo Pit of a Kitchen and Bar. I'm gutted on your behalves, really I am but you're all going to love Norfolk as the replacement venue.

Nota bene, the beard met an untimely demise at 3am this morning when my over-zealous tabby mistook it for a mate.
