Morning all.............

This weeks resolution for me is to get off my bum and organise my life.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi there, popping out in a mo and have briefly skimmed the thread.

Lupins - CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR BOY! Sorry that dp has reacted in the way he has. I have 3 HUGE boxes of boys clothes ranging from birth to 18mths. They include: Coats, sandals, swim shorts, baby vests long and short sleeved, sleep suits, MANY outfits, in fact too many things to name. You are more than welcome to them. I have pulled out all stained or less than perfect clothes and i would happily have re-used them if this had been a boy. You are not far from me so i would be happy to drop them over to you. My son was born at the end of April so the seasons are correct for the age of baby.

Will catch up properly later but hello to everyone else

notsolilKel · 15/02/2007 19:48

Lupins, if it's SAD then I am (again) offering a suggestion because (again) this is my problem as well -- I've a full-spectrum light which I use from Sept - March and it helps enormously. Check out Androv website. Better than drugs, too...

LOL at "all Olivers being able to speak fluent French" or somesuch! Only Oli I know is a builder who resembles a brick sh*thouse he's so huge and burly. Shaved head and tatoos too...ROFL....

catch up later x

Hey everyone.

valentine's day sucked.

Dh forgot as usual, and since he works late decided to start a fire in the fireplace, which he never has done before. So at 2:30 am he comes upstairs saying the house in on fire. Well I run down and the house is not on fire, but is full of smoke because he didn't open the flu. The at 3am he closed the flu (dumbass) again and the fire alarms went on. I woke up and just started crying at how he is so insensitive and selfish he is. So I slept with my window open and it was like 5 degrees (Farenheight) last night. Today the house still smells like smoke and I think it is disgusting. The more I'm with him, the more I see that he's just an inconsiderate asshole.

anyway, I finally fell back asleep at 6am and woke up at 8am with ds. Meanwhile the asshole woke up at 1pm and has been complaining that I'm in a bitchy mood.

OK rant over.

twelveyeargap · 15/02/2007 22:11

Oh MKG. Poor you.

omg typing REALLY bad this morning i meant take away

Frenchsmallfry · 16/02/2007 09:04

Morning all.......

IMO you will struggle lupins. Boys clothes are definately not as cute as girls clothes. They may have a slight ahhhh in them but thats because of there size not their cuteness.

Sorry you are not feeling much better lillaura. Time you arranged for a night out with your friends and him sitting I think, brings them back to earth with a bump.

lillaura · 16/02/2007 09:13

today i mean

twelveyeargap · 16/02/2007 09:20

lillaura - with all the typos, we'll start thinking you're cod, (have you come across her yet?) trolling on our thread.

Going on secret strike is usually punishement enough for men. "Hmm, clean shirts? Oh, sorry, I assumed those ones NOT in the laundry basket were clean... Sorry. No, I didn't wash them."

I used to try to get away with buying boys stuff for DD when she was a baby becuase I thought they were so cute! All the tiny jeans and shirts and things. Awwhh. Little man's stuff.

lillaura · 16/02/2007 09:24

awww i know what you mean - i dress my ds up like a mini version of his dad very funny

lillaura · 16/02/2007 09:25

altho not if i go ahead with not doing dh laundry - like that idea - mite go and crease all his shirts up

twelveyeargap · 16/02/2007 09:40

Nah, don't go and undo ironing that you've already done. Just "delay" doing the stuff you usually do. Go on a "go-slow".

lillaura · 16/02/2007 09:42

well he did say the other day (so id forgive him) that i was doing too much so e perfect excuse with a back up

Frenchsmallfry · 16/02/2007 09:45

I'm feeling fine today thanks lillaura. My sister and her boyfriend are coming for the weekend, mum and dad are off to the airport to pick them up and I will be cleaning. Not too much to do but the floors take ages and really need doing today. Waiting for dd to go back to bed and then I will crack on, not looking promising at the moment she slept from 7pm - 9.15am (Our time obviously) She is strolling around the lounge with baby under one arm and her pushchair in hand.

SKYTVADDICT · 16/02/2007 09:56

Morning all

Going to London Monday with DDs (our half term next week) to see Sound of Music and just found out yesterday that Connie is ill! Everyone keep their fingers crossed for us that she will be back Monday, although DP heard a review that her stand in is supposed to be good.

Got a quiet weekend as will be busy Monday and Tuesday - also going on intercity train which DP and DDs have not been on before - country bumpkins aren't we! DD2 was horrified when I told her we would be going on the tube! What a train under ground!! Bless.

TYG - was reading your other thread - hope it gets sorted - sounds the correct advice for her - I have all this to come. DD1 will be going to an all girls school in September

lillaura · 16/02/2007 09:56
