Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 48th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 47th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 61st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread <a class="break-all" href="//onwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2588689-we-re-still-teething-trying-to-wean-and-our-babies-just-won-t-go-to-sleep-when-we-re-trying-to-js-for-another-one-it-s-just-mumming-no-11" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Paws crossed here as well just!

Elbi · 24/07/2017 15:07

Ha positive vibes! Hope it's gone/going well just.

And stumbly I really feel for you. Glad your mum's in the loop now.

Good luck with the meeting Sofie!

I had my first doc's appointment this morning. Nothing much - she just gave me the number for the local midwives... Was expecting at least a blood test!

Elbi · 24/07/2017 15:10

Oh and Fuzzy I have anxiety anyway but pregnancy is making it all way worse! So I sympathise... Wish I could be like a mate of mine who is so chilled about it all.

justtheonethen · 24/07/2017 15:15

All absolutely fine. Measuring exactly right and saw the heartbeat. Feeling really relieved.

NovaArt3mis · 24/07/2017 15:20

Yaaaaaaaaaaaay just I'm celebrating for you by buying new bras! Aren't I thoughtful...

In other news, formally offered promotion but I'm so unimpressed with their salary offer which is pretty much non-negotiable. At least now I feel no guilt whatsoever about leaving them up shit creek for a year Grin

stumblymonkeyagain · 24/07/2017 15:38

Just...so happy for you!!!

My cats are also happy to uncross their paws, poor things have been stuck that way for hours

ZylaB · 24/07/2017 15:45

Yay Just!!

I had a terrible weekend feeling sick and throwing up lots on Saturday. Not as bad today, so of course I'm worrying it's the start of me losing symptoms lol. There's no winning is there?

ZylaB · 24/07/2017 15:45

Oh, also..massive bloaty bump today!

FuzzyOwl · 24/07/2017 16:14

Thanks for the understanding Elbi. I've made an appointment to see my doctor about it to try and help things this pregnancy.

Yay just!

Good news about the promotion but shame about the pay Nova.

Never any winning Zyla but symptoms so fluctuate. I think our hormones increase (so we feel ill) and then they level off (so we feel better) and then they rise again, level off again etc.

Elbi · 24/07/2017 16:49

Ah great news just! And well done on the promotion Nova even though it does like you deserve more. Good idea to see the doc Fuzzy - I'm going to ask the midwife about it at appointment next week.

And Zyla you poor thing! Nausea is rough. Mine has abated a bit too but absurd mood swings have taken over... This morning I bawled my eyes out in the shower because my hair felt knottier than usual and my fingers got stuck Hmm

Elbi · 24/07/2017 16:50

...does *sound like you deserve more

stumblymonkeyagain · 24/07/2017 18:21

I have only nearly cried once so far.

It was because DP went to buy me fish and chips and then texted to say they didn't take cards so he couldn't

Turns out he was winding me up, he felt pretty bad once he realised I'd genuinely nearly cried.

justtheonethen · 24/07/2017 18:29

I cried earlier as DH ate a pot noodle dirty fucker and I could smell it and it made me so sick. I think it was justified though, what stupid moron eats a Bombay Badboy when his wife has 24/7 nausea and can't tolerate eating even a jacket potato hot as it smells too strong? Wanker.

Well done on promotion zyla, sorry about pants pay though.
Congrats on new bras too, may your breasts be in non wired comfort now Grin

pretzelpieces · 24/07/2017 19:45

Bastard mumsnet lost my post. Sorry if I forget anyone!

just I'm chuffed to bits for you that the scan looks good! Congratulations! Re: pot noodle gate, I remember shouting at DP last time because he ate sardines on toast when I was at peak morning sickness. I like them usually but barf, the smell was too much. We're your pregnancy buddies obviously! I do have a friend who is 5 weeks behind me, but she doesn't live very close by. Can you get anti nausea meds from your GP?

fuzzy I can totally understand your anxiety :( I hope very much it all goes perfectly for you this time.

stumbly absolutely the right idea to get support from your mum. Glad dp is taking good care of you too!

Glad you're feeling a little better zyla

I'm ridiculously emotional. Made the mistake of watching Les Miserables last night, which is one of my favourites and always makes me sob at the best of times. Poor little Gavroche 😭 (Er, spoilers).

justtheonethen · 24/07/2017 19:59

Les Mis is a sob fest!

I think I'm going to the GP tomorrow. I don't think I should feel this bad, not all the time. It's getting worse and I'm getting dehydrated, have a cracking headache and feeling dizzy. I can put up with occasional sickness but not feeling like I've got sea sickness all fucking day long. Or am I just being a wimp?

Yes you lot can be my preggo buddies! All of mine already have theirs, all of them started ttc after us too. Fertile fuckers Grin

SofiePendragon · 24/07/2017 20:08

Woo hoo just! Brilliant news!

Congrats on being offered the promotion Nova. Are you going to take it despite the pay issues?

Sympathies to everyone feeling pukey! The smell of coffee really makes me nauseated at the moment which is no fun when there's a massive coffee factory right in the centre of town which belches out coffee smell all weekend!

Boss told. She was really pleased for me. I suspect she may have already guessed. I need to tell a few more people, but looking forward to being a bit more open about it.

FuzzyOwl · 24/07/2017 20:13

Thanks pretzel. I definitely do have a few symptoms and am still early enough on to not really be expecting much more.

Hope you see a sympathetic and helpful GP just. We can be preggo buddies as well. I know you are a few weeks ahead but DD1 was born at 38 weeks and DD2 at 37 weeks so I fancy my chances of catching you up!

Glad your boss was pleased Sofie.

justtheonethen · 24/07/2017 21:02

The race is on fuzzy Grin

stumblymonkeyagain · 24/07/2017 21:36

Where are all of those currently preggo based?

I'm wondering about a JS mat leave meet up...if I'm not out, though I give my permission to go ahead without me if I am you're welcome Wink

I'm in Surrey...

FuzzyOwl · 24/07/2017 21:52

We have a meet group FB group stumbly. I'll see if I can add you. You can't be very far from me. Smile

FuzzyOwl · 24/07/2017 21:53

That made no sense! I meant we have a FB Meet Uo group.

FuzzyOwl · 24/07/2017 21:53

*Up 🙄🙄

NovaArt3mis · 25/07/2017 06:43

Thanks viroids, yeah I'll take the promotion. I've always been underpaid there but I enjoy my work and colleagues so I put up with it.

My nausea got massively better at 10/11 weeks, light at the end of the tunnel.

just definitely go to gp, it shouldn't be unbearable and hopefully they can help. Oh and my friend has been trying 2.5 months and it took me 2.5 years. I called her fertile myrtle too hah.

That's great about you boss sofie

Hope the dr can help fuzzy

Sorry stumbly, I know you've said already but when is your next scan to see if there's been any progress?

Any more scans coming up?

Aw man, it's Eponine who makes me sob in Les Mis. On my ownnnnnnnn.

I thought I found my first boob stretch mark today. Turns out it was just a crease from bed! But gave me a fright and now I will slather myself in all of the lotions.

TriJo · 25/07/2017 09:10

Stumbly I'm in north London.

11+1 and I'm still nauseous a lot of the time, hoping it fades soon! I'm still absolutely wrecked as well, first trimester with an energetic toddler is totally different gravy compared to last time.

Have my 12 week scan next Friday (4th) - looking forward to it and nervous in roughly equal measures.

justtheonethen · 25/07/2017 10:18

I've had the fake boob stretch marks. I cried.....then felt ridiculous Grin

Been to GP. I have hyperememis, apparently you don't have to be throwing up to have it. Doctor said 24/7 nausea and gagging not normal and that I was really dehydrated. Got cyclizine, really hoping they are the wonder cure for me as he said if I don't start eating/drinking enough I'll need to go on a drip which I really don't want.
