Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 48th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 47th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 61st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread <a class="break-all" href="//onwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2588689-we-re-still-teething-trying-to-wean-and-our-babies-just-won-t-go-to-sleep-when-we-re-trying-to-js-for-another-one-it-s-just-mumming-no-11" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Nova I'm sure the measuring ladies in JL will have seen it all before! Could you justify using the voucher as you're just freeing up the cash to buy something else with the money from him?

Has anyone else noticed their hair is growing more slowly? I'm not having to shave nearly as frequently, which does make me get a bit complacent Grin

stumblymonkeyagain · 20/07/2017 15:13

I'm complacent with hair shaving at the best of times. I'm just about to get a shower and shave my bikini line ahead of the scan in case of needing an internal.

Which means I put more effort in for a stranger wielding an ultrasound dildo than DP. Poor DP!

Ladies...I don't mean to brag I do but....I've spent the whole day in bed. It's been bloody glorious. Though shortly the need for food will drive me out.

FuzzyOwl · 20/07/2017 15:19

I'd be surprised if your scan wasn't internal stumbly and glad you enjoyed your sleep. I constantly need to go to the loo at the moment, so a day in bed would be wasted on me!

SofiePendragon · 20/07/2017 16:37

Good luck for your scan Stumbly!

ZylaB · 20/07/2017 16:50

Good luck for the scan Stumbly
I had to run out of playgroup to be sick this morning yay 😄

NovaArt3mis · 20/07/2017 17:28

Yeah I'm sure they have but I'll feel better if I give them a once over. I had planned to use the voucher on something for the baby. My new boobs are baby related I suppose! Will head along on Monday.

I'm trying to be patient and hold off telling more family and friends until I get my screening results back but after 3+ months of holding it in I'm struggling. I thought over 2 years of ttc had taught me a little about patience but apparently not.

I second fuzzy, dildo cam likely.

Elbi · 20/07/2017 21:22

TriJo glad the nausea has eased up. I went for a walk with DH this eve, laid my head down momentarily on a wall and fell asleep!

Sofie I thought my hair was growing faster! Or maybe I just haven't noticed it so much before. I seem to have developed very hairy fingers Confused

And Nova I've been trying to work out who to tell when. I know it's after the 12wk scan for most people but not sure about my mum and dad...

Hope scan went well stumbly - gx.

justtheonethen · 20/07/2017 21:56

stumbly how was it?

We have told a fair few people (family and close friends) but we had ivf and so those people knew we were doing it. If I hadn't taken over 3 years to get pregnant/had done so naturally I would have told my sister and my mum only and then everyone else at 12 weeks. As it is I want to shout it from the fucking rooftops! This is the furthest I've got in around 40 cycles so to me it's worth celebrating regardless of outcome.

nova your new boobs are definitely baby related, maybe just tell your boss you bought something else Grin

NovaArt3mis · 21/07/2017 07:38

I've not even told my sister yet! We told quite a few people last time and it didn't end well so we've just had a slightly different approach this time round. There's just family and a few good friends that I'm getting impatient to tell now, everyone else can find out if they see me waddling down the street at Christmas. If we were the facebook announcey type I'd do it this weekend for our 4th wedding anniversary.

100% worth celebrating just

All ok stumbly?

justtheonethen · 21/07/2017 07:49

Totally understand nova. Everyone else can find out when they see the bump, definitely not a fb announcement type of person!
Congrats on the anniversary!

stumblymonkeyagain · 21/07/2017 08:01

My scan was inconclusive/possibly not good news.

There was just a gestation sac, no yolk, no fetal pole. It was just a sad little black hole Sad

The radiographer said that we might just have our dates a bit out and therefore it's too early but we only DTD a couple of times that cycle and even taking into account that sperm can hang around for a few days it seems highly unlikely to me that we're only 5 weeks or so along (LMP is 6+2).

So we discussed calling the EPU and they will likely do their own baseline scan next week and then re-scan the following week to see if anything is progressing. I'm not holding out tonnes of hope though.

Still...on the positive side we didn't mean to get pregnant yet anyway and means we can still have our dream honeymoon so...while it's a bit sad we're okay

Report from the scan is below...calling EPU @ 8.30am

stumbly I'm so sorry lovely. Fingers crossed it's just a bit early. Flowers

NovaArt3mis · 21/07/2017 08:37

Sorry you're in limbo stumbly, it is possible something will be visible next week so we'll keep our fingers crossed. Good that you're thinking positively and ahead to that amazing sounding honeymoon you've got planned. We're here if you want to chat Flowers

SofiePendragon · 21/07/2017 13:00

Sorry about your scan Stumbly Flowers Hope the EPU were helpful this morning

pretzelpieces · 21/07/2017 14:08

stumbly I'm so sorry about the scan. Keeping gx that it's just too early for you.

zyla ugh, not fun... But yay for symptoms?

We haven't told many people at all, 12wk scan is this afternoon and I've got the fear.

FuzzyOwl · 21/07/2017 14:48

Thinking of you @pretzelpieces. How was the scan?

I have everything crossed for your next scan being good news stumbly

NovaArt3mis · 21/07/2017 14:54

Gx for today's scans pretzel and are you today too sofie?

Elbi · 21/07/2017 15:21

Good luck pretzel and sorry it's inconclusive stumbly - gx you get better news next week and, if not, your description of your honeymoon (from the other Fred I think) did sound amazing Smile

Elbi · 21/07/2017 15:24

And Zyla last night I leapt out of bed thinking I was going to vom, caught my feet in the duvet and performed a perfect faceplant 😂 Wasn't even sick in the end.

justtheonethen · 21/07/2017 15:42

Good luck pretzel. My 7+3 scan is Monday and I've proper got the fear.

I'm so bored of feeling shit. I'm nauseous, stupidly spotty of face and constipated Blush. And grumpy don't forget grumpy!

justtheonethen · 21/07/2017 15:42

elbi sorry but Grin

SofiePendragon · 21/07/2017 15:48

I had my 12 week scan earlier today. All good - baby was waving it's arms around and saw the heart beating. It's doubled in length over the past two weeks and I could see much more detail this time. NT was 2.0 mm and nasal bone was present so hoping the trisomy risk will be OK.

When they weighed me I realised I've lost 8kg in the past 4 weeks Shock

NovaArt3mis · 21/07/2017 15:52

Glad to hear it went well sofie what's your due date?

No one mentioned a nasal bone at mine (present or otherwise) and my scan pictures all look pretty Voldemort-y. Wish my results letter would arrive so I can stop panicking.

SofiePendragon · 21/07/2017 15:54

Just I know the feeling. I'm so fed up of feeling terrible. Gx your nausea is a good sign before the scan though!

NameChange30 · 21/07/2017 16:07

stumbly
I'm not on the FB group, no.
Sorry about your scan Sad It must be difficult dealing with the uncertainty. I think I saw your thread about your honeymoon - I guess in some ways it would be good not to have to cancel, although I imagine you'll probably have mixed feelings.
