Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 48th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 47th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 61st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread <a class="break-all" href="//onwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2588689-we-re-still-teething-trying-to-wean-and-our-babies-just-won-t-go-to-sleep-when-we-re-trying-to-js-for-another-one-it-s-just-mumming-no-11" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I hate pregnancy anxiety. All I can say is that both of my pregnancies that ended in a miscarriage didn't feel quite right to me. So many people thought I was overreacting the first time I was pregnant because as soon as I read about a mmc I knew I had had one and I was right, even though it was past the so called safe first trimester. I get very few pregnancy symptoms at the best of times, but even by my standards my last pregnancy was easy. However, the pregnancy with the most symptoms and the one with the least are the two I have miscarried. You really can't tell but as much as I worry, I do trust my instinct and it is different to my anxious-expecting-things-to-go-wrong-instinct.

ZylaB · 19/07/2017 09:28

I also completely understand the anxiety thing and am swinging between optimism and pessimism.
Positive- I was sick last night!

Negative- it may have been due to eating too much 😂
Positive- being THIS happy to eat jam on toast had to be a symptom right?
😄

FuzzyOwl · 19/07/2017 11:40

I'm doing my best to remain optimistic no matter what.

@ZylaB Jam on toast is amazing!

SofiePendragon · 19/07/2017 15:56

Urghh! I'm feeling so poorly. Had to call in sick and have spent the day in bed. Me and DH have both had a cold and DH woke up feeling sick yesterday morning, and it seems like today it's my turn. On a background of feeling sick for the last two months though, I'm feeling really sorry for myself. Really hoping the baby is ok in there with all this too - I'm finding it so difficult to eat and drink much.

Sorry for the whingy post - this just feels endless! On the plus side, I have my 12 week scan on Friday (at 11+4), so will be able to check on baby soon.

FuzzyOwl · 19/07/2017 20:35

How are you feeling now @SofiePendragon?

SofiePendragon · 19/07/2017 21:13

I'm a bit better this evening thanks fuzzy. Still in bed but have had a mini calippo this evening which was nice and cold and stayed down. DH has been ok today so hopefully it's just a 24 hour bug. Just feeling terrified that this will have affected the baby, but I think all I can do at this point is rest and rehydrate and hope for the best.

FuzzyOwl · 19/07/2017 21:22

I had a horrific stomach bug with DD2 when I was around 4/5 weeks pregnant but all was fine. Don't forget some unfortunate women suffer HV and every day is like having food poisoning but our bodies prioritise the babies and they take everything they need first of all, which exacerbates how bad we feel but hopefully it will help to put your mind at rest that no harm done.

SofiePendragon · 19/07/2017 21:33

Thanks fuzzy gx all will be fine. I've felt nauseated with no appetite since 5-6 weeks and only just about managing (I've lost 5kg since I booked in with the midwife), so this on top just felt overwhelming earlier. I was hoping that the nausea was starting to settle down a bit. Hopefully, I'll manage to sleep tonight and feel better in the morning.

NameChange30 · 19/07/2017 21:33

Hi all! For those whole don't know/remember me, I'm a postgrad (DS born in March Smile)... just popped back to see how you're all doing, and wanted to say congratulations to corgi - yay! - and to all of you who've had BFPs since I last posted. Wishing you all sticky beans and pregnancies and births that are as uncomplicated as possible xx

NameChange30 · 19/07/2017 21:34

pretzelpieces · 19/07/2017 22:58

Just spent a while catching up, I'm so glad the fred is active again.

fuzzy it's great to see you back here. GX for you.

My scan is Friday too, I'll be 12+2.

NovaArt3mis · 20/07/2017 04:56

Hope your scan goes well today stumbly

Glad you're feeling a bit better sofie

Off topic but has anyone had the cadbury bar with bits of Dime/Daim in it? May or may not have eaten a whole one last night Blush

Elbi · 20/07/2017 06:28

Ah, found you! Hi viroids Smile Now to read back and see what you've all been up to...

stumblymonkeyagain · 20/07/2017 07:09

Hello @NameChange30

We joined the viroids about the same time about 18 months ago but then I stopped TTC for a while and ducked out. Glad all is well with you, are you on the FB group?

Thanks Nova....hoping to bring it forward from 8pm to 6pm as DP is finishing work earlier than expected.

stumblymonkeyagain · 20/07/2017 07:11

Welcome Elbi Smile

Basically lots of chat about pant snot, bloating, skittletits and nausea. We're all very glowing and sexy earth mother types here at the moment Grin

Elbi · 20/07/2017 08:14

Thanks stumbly. I'll fit right in then Grin

TriJo · 20/07/2017 09:44

Nova I have a chocolate and coffee aversion again this time :( It's a killer. Sounds delicious though!

SofiePendragon · 20/07/2017 09:55

Nova I love dairy milk with Daim - it's the best one. Always sells out first in our local shop. Sadly, like Tri, I can't go anywhere near chocolate at the moment Sad. Can't wait for next year when I can use breastfeeding as an excuse to inhale an entire bar in one sitting!

justtheonethen · 20/07/2017 11:21

Just going to leave this here ......

Come hither upduffed viroids here we will hold your hand through scans, rejoice at your hairy shins and of course share your lust over Ian McShane. It's JS Grads 48!
justtheonethen · 20/07/2017 11:28

Good luck stumbly

NovaArt3mis · 20/07/2017 12:18

....... is that ice cream Shock

I've only just got a taste for chocolate back and have managed bananas this week for the first time since May! Mince and eggs are still a no go though.

Elbi · 20/07/2017 12:37

Do IKEA still do the Daim tart? Best thing ever. Not for me today though - I just walked up a hill on lunch and now feel shite. First day I've felt the tiredness really catching up with me...

justtheonethen · 20/07/2017 12:52

It's the best ice cream in the world. I'm off ice cream/chocolate at the moment though Sad

TriJo · 20/07/2017 13:21

Elbi I've been a bit less nauseous this week but the tiredness is brutal. I fell asleep beside C last night putting him to bed at 8:30pm...

NovaArt3mis · 20/07/2017 13:51

I wish you all a speedy return to chocolate and ice cream!

I have a John Lewis voucher my boss gave me as I thank you for some work earlier this year. I was about to go get measured for a new bra when I realised A, I've not shaved under my arms and B, I'm not sure how I feel about my new underwear essentially being a gift from him Grin
