Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 48th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 47th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 61st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread <a class="break-all" href="//onwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2588689-we-re-still-teething-trying-to-wean-and-our-babies-just-won-t-go-to-sleep-when-we-re-trying-to-js-for-another-one-it-s-just-mumming-no-11" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Hello hello!
Sorry for the absence, I have had a bit of a password issue since getting a new phone and forgetting to back the old one up...
I forgot both the password for mumsnet and the password for the email account connected to it so I couldn't reset it!

I've been keeping up with the fab group but corgi I don't think you're on there and I'm often wondering how you're getting on?

How did the growth scan go?
How many weeks are you now?
I'm 27+4 now and all going well so far. I'm getting bigger and more uncomfortable though. My back is aching a lot and I have been seeing a chiropractor to try and help, which it does but I think the fact I'm constantly growing and my body contstantly changing means that new bits start to ache and hurt. Oh the joys.

I am loving feeling the kicks and squirms though. I blamed a meaty trump on the baby this morning and the baby promptly kicked me hard, DH told me it served me right- getting protective over the baby already!

Hope everyone else is doing ok!

pretzelpieces · 29/05/2017 14:37

I was looking at the stats sheet to maybe update it, but then anonymous animals kept coming on so I closed it! Eep.

Sorry you're uncomfortable scottish.

I hope the growth scan went okay corgi.

ScottishLady7 · 29/05/2017 16:06

What are anonymous animals pretz?! Intrigued!

pretzelpieces · 29/05/2017 18:37

Haha, if someone comes on to view or edit a doc and they're not logged into Google, it says "anonymous lemur" or "anonymous wombat" etc.

FuzzyOwl · 04/06/2017 22:09

Perhaps someone could add me to the stats sheet as well if they are updating... No idea of a due date yet as early days. Hopefully I can make an appointment to see the midwife soon.

Hope everyone is doing well and had a good weekend.

TriJo · 06/06/2017 13:06

/sticks in a toe

4 weeks today, got my BFP @ 12 dpo on Sunday.

So quiet here now compared to 2016 March Madness!

VocalCat · 06/06/2017 13:17

Congratulations Tri

corgi88 · 06/06/2017 14:51

congrats tri! yes we need more fresh blood.... I'm being quiet because I am very superstitious and a bit paranoid something will go wrong - same reason I can't bring myself to put myself on the stats sheet Blush

am 36+4, feeling OK until yesterday when this bastard cold arrived and then reflux woke me up at 4am Sad so now I feel utterly poo. also baby's head has started to engage so I'm getting all these pelvic aches. humph! I'm fine really, just getting a bit nervous about the end...

did any of you guys use perineal massage? do you think it did anything??

hope you're all good!

corgi88 · 06/06/2017 14:52

oh yeah and growth scan was fine which is good because I had spent 48 hours panicking about toxo and all sorts after the midwife told me growth was static from my fundal height! lordy.

TractorComesFirst · 07/06/2017 10:03

Congrats tri! How are you feeling?

Not long now corgi! I did not do perennial massage with my DS and I didn't get any tears or scratches at all so I won't bother again this time either.

It's my 12 week scan this afternoon and I'm currently convincing myself that something is wrong! My DS has a nasty cold though so looking after him is keeping my mind off it a little!

TriJo · 07/06/2017 12:48

Not too bad Tractor - very tired and occasional skittletits but not that much symptom wise yet.

pretzelpieces · 07/06/2017 22:17

corgi not long to go now! Sorry you are feeling anxious. I didn't do perineal massage and ended up with ventouse delivery and small tear, don't think it would have made a difference in my case given that it was an instrumental delivery.

I'm 6 weeks today so feeling anxious obviously. Early pregnancy limbo fear/hope.

tractor how did your scan go?

TractorComesFirst · 11/06/2017 18:32

I hated that early pregnancy limbo so much more this second time round pretzel. Its so hard

Scan went well. I was bang on 12 weeks so DD is 21st December. Christmas is going to be crazy! Baby was doing somersaults the whole time so we have to go back for the nuchal a week tomorrow.

pretzelpieces · 11/06/2017 21:39

That's great news tractor - and will be nice to get a second look at the little one!

FuzzyOwl · 12/06/2017 14:55

Great news Tractor.

So bleeding in the first couple of months. Please reassure me about how normal it is and that I don't need to worry. It's not much and more brownish but a bit of red. I've never bled before when I have miscarried and even when I waited to miscarry naturally after a mmc, I ended up needing an EPRC as I just didn't bleed for the following two months. I think it has stopped now, so was really just a couple of wipes worth. I hate how anxious pregnancy makes me.

FuzzyOwl · 14/06/2017 18:48

Back to ttc for me. Sad Hope it all goes well for the rest of you.

TractorComesFirst · 14/06/2017 21:52

Sorry to hear that @FuzzyOwl hope you are ok. Fingers crossed we see you back here soon. Flowers

corgi88 · 15/06/2017 09:03

oh fuzzy I'm sorry to hear that. Look after yourself Flowers

day 4 of maternity leave here and I've yet to succumb to some weird urge to clean.... I have however spent a fortune on stuff for nursery and birthing ball/TENS machine etc! and randomly a coffee table. I need to stop or we will be bankrupt by time baby actually arrives....

did anybody do hypnobirthing? starting to wish I had done classes, not really feeling very prepared (my birth plan = "turn up and see how it goes") Grin

corgi88 · 15/06/2017 09:21

oh yes and can someone please explain the "lust for Ian McShane" thing in the Fred title?? have been watching American Gods in which he plays Mr Wednesday (v.g.) but lust????? Grin

FuzzyOwl · 15/06/2017 12:52

Thank you Tractor and Corgi. I am ok and very grateful that I have my two wonderful DC for cuddles at the moment. They make everything so much better.

Once my waters broke and contractions started, I began to read my hypnobirthing book in the bath. Not sure that it really counts! And I ended up with an EMCS anyway.

TractorComesFirst · 15/06/2017 13:43

Glad your DC cuddles are helping fuzzy.

Don't worry corgi I didn't do hypnobrithing and my plan with ds was just turn up and see what happens too. I ended up having DS in the birthing pool, no drugs or gas and air, no tears and it was amazing! Just keep thinking each pain is a step closer to baby. It seemed to help me.

pretzelpieces · 15/06/2017 16:19

corgi I used a birthing ball and a tens machine during my labour with DD! enables I didn't use a coffee table though... Grin

fuzzy I'm so sorry for the loss. I hope you're back here soon.

corgi88 · 20/06/2017 11:41

hello! how are you all doing? 38+3 and starting to fear I will need an induction (my mum was 2 weeks over with all 4 of us, and they now recommend induction at 41w onwards).... any positive induction birth stories out there viroids!? from what I remember of O&G everyone needed a section... though I can't be remembering it right Grin

ScottishLady7 · 21/06/2017 10:18

My O&G job has messed up my perception of normal a bit...
Midwife didn't really know what to say when I confessed that I didn't want to have a section or a vaginal delivery. When I come up with an alternative we've agreed to go into business together!!
How are you coping with the heat?
Are you starting on all the teas and bouncing etc to move things along like I've heard about clearly have no idea about these things but someone might!

corgi88 · 22/06/2017 18:14

Hahahahaha Scottish baby has to come out somehow!!!! Maybe you could teach it to apparate Harry Potter style?
Going to track down some raspberry leaf tea though mw said need to drink 6 cups a day and I'm not sure it's very tasty!! Pineapple might be a more palatable option.... That and some good old js'ing Grin
