Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 48th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 47th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 61st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread <a class="break-all" href="//onwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2588689-we-re-still-teething-trying-to-wean-and-our-babies-just-won-t-go-to-sleep-when-we-re-trying-to-js-for-another-one-it-s-just-mumming-no-11" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

corgi I think you've seen the abbreviated version elsewhere, but my full length positive induction birth story is near the start of this thread!

I tried EVERYTHING to get him moving, but nothing worked!

TriJo · 26/06/2017 12:57

Corgi There is still a very good chance you'll go naturally! At my 40 week appointment (40+4) my son was still nowhere near engaged and the midwife said that she very much anticipated needing to see me for induction at term + 12. I went into labour naturally at 41 weeks and he was born the next morning.

7 weeks here and way more nauseated than I was last time. Food is not exactly appealing either. Down with this sort of thing.

justtheonethen · 27/06/2017 19:44

Very tentatively dipping a toe in here after getting my bfp on a cb digi '1-2weeks' at 5dp5dt yesterday. Reassuringly got a much darker line today than yesterday on a cheapie so thought I would come and say hello.
I'm only 3 weeks 4 days Blush.

Question for you all- I need to self refer to the mw and it says 'early in your pregnancy, ideally as soon as you find out'.

I was planning on waiting until after my scan at the ivf clinic but is that too late? Should I do it on my OTD?

corgi88 · 28/06/2017 13:08

just sooooo good to see you on here!!! (what does 5dp5dt mean please? 5 days post 5 day transfer??) all the midwife will do is see you at about 10w for your booking in appointment and arrange your dating scan...when are the IVF clinic scanning you? I think the reason they try to get you to book early is so they can make sure you're on folic acid etc but am sure you already are doing all the right things. Doesn't really matter either way but if it will make you feel better to be "in the system" then go for it!

sock love the birth story thank you! gx will be fine.... and tri I do hope I go naturally .... eek! due on Friday....did anybody else go promptly into labour after a sweep? mine is booked for Friday..

ScottishLady7 · 28/06/2017 14:19

Oh just it's wonderful to see you here!!!
I fell off the undergrads thread a bit but last I saw, you were embarking on the IVF journey so I'm glad things are going well!!

corgi due on Friday, that's so exciting!! How are you feeling?

justtheonethen · 28/06/2017 14:59

That's exactly what it means, so 10dpo in old money is when I tested.

I can't believe I'm here.......tucking finally!

justtheonethen · 28/06/2017 14:59

*fucking rather, phone trying to censor me!

TriJo · 28/06/2017 16:37

Corgi Went into labour 3 days after one here, so hard to know if it helped things or not.

corgi88 · 28/06/2017 19:55

Hurray for profanity just! Wheeee!
Tri I will hopefully be in labour by next Monday then ... 🤞 Just said to Dh that we should book a meal at a really swanky restaurant next week to try and invoke law of sod Grin

ScottishLady7 · 28/06/2017 20:42

Can I ask the reason for the early sweep corgi?
My mw seemed to suggest there was no way I'd get one before due date I definitely wasn't trying to bully her into agreeing to do sweeps from 37 weeks at the time

SockQueen · 28/06/2017 22:25

Def book the nice restaurant corgi! We had our 5th wedding anniversary the day after my EDD but DH didn't want to book anything fancy in case we couldn't go - wish I'd insisted on a spa break!

just you probably don't remember me but it's lovely to see you over here. Keeping gx for you! No harm in calling the mw after your OTD - there's quite a long wait in some areas so if you wait till your first scan (I assume about 7 weeks?) they might not be able to fit you in at the right time.

justtheonethen · 29/06/2017 02:58

I do remember you sock! I followed you having baby socklet! Hope you're well.
Good plan re midwife.

I know its ludicrously early to worry about but did anyone have the NIPT? I wonder if I should as I guess I'm 'older'? I will get it on the NHS if the NT scan puts me at high risk but wondered if anyone did it at 10 weeks? Or am I just being overly anxious?

TriJo · 29/06/2017 09:54

just I'm considering it, but 400 quid seems an awful lot to spend when the age related risk isn't that high (I'm 33).

justtheonethen · 29/06/2017 10:07

I'm 34, am I high risk or not? I'm going to be 35 when I give birth if that makes a difference?

justtheonethen · 29/06/2017 13:03

Is it normal to feel totally shit already?! I'm not even 4 weeks yet and there's no doubt that I'm pregnant. I feel horrendous Sad. Seems a bit unfair, after so long trying I think I deserve to have an easy one!

TriJo · 29/06/2017 16:42

Absolutely! I was absolutely wrecked at 7dpo and a bit nauseous at 4 weeks this time...

justtheonethen · 29/06/2017 19:27

Feel like I've been on a total bender Grin

choochooo · 30/06/2017 07:35

Oh my GOD just ?!?!?!!

This has made my year!!! Congratulations!

I'm also tentatively dipping toe in. 6 weeks upduffed, 4th pregnancy this year. Got to 10 weeks in April and then had mmc. Devastating. But here I am again!

choochooo · 30/06/2017 07:35

Oh in case you didn't know it's La but just name changed

choochooo · 30/06/2017 07:36

No you're not high risk, unless you have medical issues? Your notes will state geriatric mum as you're giving birth at 35 but you should be low risk. I had DS at exactly same age and all fine

choochooo · 30/06/2017 07:37

And yes to feeling hungover. Bleurgh

justtheonethen · 30/06/2017 08:33

la/choo! It's made my year too Smile. Going to keep everything crossed this ones a sticky one.
Literally feel like I've spent the night swigging gin and dancing on a bar Hmm. I haven't by th way Grin

justtheonethen · 30/06/2017 08:34

Did I see jelly back again? The old gang! Now just need country to succumb!

justtheonethen · 30/06/2017 08:35

No medical issues exactly but a potential birth complication as I have a back issue but hopeful it's going to improve rather than deteriorate whilst pregnant!
Geriatric indeed Grin

corgi88 · 30/06/2017 14:52

Awww just hope you feel better soon but omg you're PREGNANT SmileSmileSmile how is Mr just?

Hurray Choo/La! Yayy.
Obviously I am also keeping everything crossed for sticky one for both of you.
Still awaiting mw arrival for my sweep - nervous Shock ....Scottish I am 40 weeks today so it isn't early I don't think.... Just to give me a chance to go into labour by myself before induction at 41 weeks.
Do you think she will judge me on how many gin bottles I have in home bar?? Have obvs not drunk any for 9m but there is rather a lot...
