Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 48th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 47th grads thread is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 61st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread <a class="break-all" href="//onwww.mumsnet.com/Talk/postnatal_clubs/2588689-we-re-still-teething-trying-to-wean-and-our-babies-just-won-t-go-to-sleep-when-we-re-trying-to-js-for-another-one-it-s-just-mumming-no-11" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Welcome Nova!

Canters15 · 08/01/2017 17:14

Welcome nova!

Corgi after two MC you are more then entitled to be a bit paranoid, must be so hard to imagine a take home baby after multiple losses. Another big hug from me!

ScottishLady7 · 08/01/2017 22:29

Booking on the 23rd Jan and scan at 12+2 on Feb 15th- how about you nova?

NovaArt3mis · 09/01/2017 04:49

20th Jan and 12+2 on the 14th Feb :) although I'm pretty sure they'll put me back a few days at the scan.

DH is happy to go for early scan if it'll make me feel better. So I'm going to see how I feel this week and possibly book one for around 9wks, maybe.

ScottishLady7 · 11/01/2017 22:34

So I'll just miss you at the scan!
Hope your appointments go well :)

I'm recovering from a bout of gastroenteritis this week- slightly concerned about how the shrimp might have been affected but I know that most likely all is fine as I managed to keep myself reasonably well hydrated.

How's everyone else doing?

Pisghetti · 12/01/2017 11:04

Eurgh Scottish that sounds rough! Glad you're on the mend. Babies of mothers with HG manage fine so I'm sure weeScottish will be ok!

Nothing much to report here. 8+2. Still feel the same - mildly hungover. It's my birthday on Sunday so I've got a meal out with friends on Friday where I'll have to navigate the no alcohol thing again and an early scan booked for Saturday just to make sure everything is where it should be. I decided to take the approach of 'book first tell later' with DP as he takes a more logical emotionless view on these things and doesn't approve. He hasn't actually spoken to me since I told him (he works away so I don't mean like we were sat in silence last night)....

Pisghetti · 14/01/2017 19:05

Early scan started great. MicroPis is where it should be, measuring spot on dates and good heartbeat seen (and heard). Then she found a second yolk sac. She wasn't able to get a view behind the baby on the screen but said it was possibly a failed twin pregnancy and to speak to my midwife as I might get referred to EPU to investigate further as it may also be a hidden twin. I spoke to the MW on duty and she said they wouldn't do anything until the 12 week scan unless I had pain or bleeding and not to worry as it wouldn't affect the baby seen at this stage. So I just have to mention it to the midwife at my appointment later this week and probably the sonographer at the 12 week scan. If it is a failed pregnancy then they need to make sure the yolk sac has been reabsorbed by then. Not sure how to feel! It's obviously great that I have a healthy bean.

NameChange30 · 14/01/2017 19:57

Pisghetti I can imagine you must have mixed feelings at the moment, but it's very good news that there is a healthy baby in there with a heartbeat Smile I hope the mystery of the other yolk sac is solved sooner rather than later and you don't have any worries with pain or bleeding x

ScottishLady7 · 15/01/2017 09:52

Oh Pis that all sounds so unsettling. Wonderful news about seeing a hb but not knowing what's going on with the other sac must be worrying. Thinking of you! Flowers

TriJo · 16/01/2017 16:16

Well I guess I'm over here again. Sooner than expected. Not 100% sure on dates but best estimate using the date I think we conceived has me at 4+6. Currently a total fucking ball of stress.

ScottishLady7 · 17/01/2017 11:52

Welcome back TriJo, I think I remember you from a while ago possibly when I was lurking How old is your LO now? Why are you so stressed just now? Hopefully we can help!

ZylaB · 17/01/2017 12:59

I'm going to sneak in and hang around quietly for a little while. Am 4+2 but really nervous after a mc last May.
Have booked myself in with hospital and have the lovely termed 'viability scan' on Feb 1st so everything crossed for a heartbeat then.

TriJo · 17/01/2017 13:23

ScottishLady7 My DS is 9.5 months. Stressed because the reality of 2 under 18 months is hitting home! Not sure I'm 100% ready for this, or even 50%, but looks like we're doing it... Told hubby yesterday evening and it was better than I expected thankfully.

I booked a private early scan for the 31st, have a GP appointment on Friday and I'm planning to go back to the same hospital where my son was born.

FuzzyOwl · 17/01/2017 13:46

Just poking my head in to see how everyone is getting on and congratulations to all those BFPs since I was last here. Hope everyone is ok and the bumps are doing well.

The Owlet is fast asleep but very taken with smiling now, which is lovely. She only really likes sleeping when loud white noise is on, which is great for masking all of her grunting but keeps me awake!

corgi88 · 17/01/2017 13:47

Welcome tri and zyla!

Tri here for all the hand holding not that I have any experience of parenting but you will be fab!! At least you are getting all the baby-making out of the way in one chunk! I saw your fb post and line pic. Hope you feel less stressed soon Flowers

Zyla I've been the same - had 2 MCs before this bean and I've been climbing the walls with anxiety!

Scottish hope you are feeling better. Am sure the shrimp will be fine.

Chat I didn't mean your pregnancy is going quickly - i meant that I feel like everyone else's Pg goes fast but mine goes verrrryyyy sllooowwwllllyyy - if that makes sense?

Waiting to see midwife for 16w appt now. Strangely nervous!!

ScottishLady7 · 17/01/2017 16:52

16w corgi! Wow how did that happen?! Yours is going fast to me!

trijo that sounds like a handful but it'll be a lot of fun and they'll love having a sibling close in age.

Is there a grads fb group I might be able to join? The more distractions the better!

I'm currently 8+1 and it seems ages til the scan at 12+2 but I just need to be patient and definitely not book ANOTHER reassurance scan at 10 weeks since they're still half price

Pisghetti · 18/01/2017 06:24

Scottish I'm an admin on the FB group. PM me the email address you use for FB and I should be able to add you.

NovaArt3mis · 18/01/2017 06:27

Ooh can I too pisghetti? Smile

Pisghetti · 18/01/2017 09:31

Yep go for it (I'll be logged onto the website for a bit - I can't see messages on the app!)

lildottie · 19/01/2017 13:49

Lovely to see some familiar names here... Especially you chat

corgi88 · 19/01/2017 22:28

Hi lil!! How is mini-lil?

TriJo · 20/01/2017 09:43

And back out again I go. :(

Pisghetti · 20/01/2017 11:32

Really sorry about that Tri Sad

Hope you can rest up and take care of yourself Flowers

ZylaB · 20/01/2017 12:39

So sorry Tri Flowers

LondonGirl83 · 20/01/2017 12:47
