2nd sweep tomorrow! managed to miss acupuncture today (was sure it was tomorrow)

39+4 today & planning to ask for a sweep tomorrow.

DH has just informed me that he too is "helping" to bring on start of labour... by inviting a few friends over for dinner tomorrow

If it works, I will forgive him

I am bored tonight - have a list of questions for the midwife tomorrow.

Well I'm still here. I think I've tried everything at this stage, long walks, bouncing on the ball, curries and sex and all to no avail.

Yep. Sex last night to no avail. Curry plans tonight, hopefully a sweep this afternoon... I'm going to need another bloody induction aren't I?

After 8hrs waiting at hospital, following growth scan suggesting 9lb 15oz I finally got my sweep... and an induction appointment for first thing tomorrow morning

It won't be much longer now!! Yay!

Great news! Don't worry too much about weight, my scan a week before ds was born was a whole lb out

Turns out those BH contractions were real :)
Waters have been. Roken, hospital room almost flooded & an currently bouncing on a ball listening to radio 2!

Fingers crossed things keep up like this - so far it's surprisingly bearable. Good job - TENS machine doesn't have any batteries. Oops

Well, got to 4cm by bouncing & singing then had a major meltdown haha.

Am now propped up with a delightful epidural keeping me calm & sane

Fingers crossed it doesn't slow anything down & I get baby out today.

Sometimes it gets unbearable doesn't it. It's always happened to me when I need to push. So having an epidural or anything isn't an option by then and the lucky people in the room have to try and talk sense into me while I'm refusing to push lol. I do credit this with being the reason I've never torn though ....

News here! Our little one finally arrived this weekend.

Feeling knackered but very happy! Hmm... now when will the next good night's sleep be?!

Dc2 is here! He arrived this morning 7.40 weighing 9lb & after a hairy few minutes is absolutely fine. We're both knackered!

Unfortunately I had a few probs after, so currently trying to convince doctor I can go home today
