derryjojo · 25/10/2016 10:09

A lot of cramping today. Fingers crossed it's a sign

Afreshstartplease · 25/10/2016 10:18

Fingers crossed for you derry!

Redken24 · 25/10/2016 11:36

I keep getting a really sore tummy - but its just the toilet I need!
I would also feel silly if I go to Maternity just to check :(
Hows everyone today?

ThinkOfAWittyNameLater · 25/10/2016 12:08

Lots of cramping & mad dashes to the toilet only for nothing to happen (not sure what that means tbh).

I've got a few hours peace as dc1 is with my dad. Bliss

Afreshstartplease · 25/10/2016 18:24

Any news anyone? A couple of people haven't posted yet today?

ThinkOfAWittyNameLater · 25/10/2016 19:04

No progress from me - so maddashes mean nowt :(

How are you getting on fresh?

derryjojo · 25/10/2016 19:07

None here either.

Had a curry for dinner. Beginning to regret that decision now.

Afreshstartplease · 25/10/2016 20:01

I'm doing great thanks, ds has slotted in to our family perfectly! I am even managing to get on with some housework! Shock

Fingers crossed tonight is the night for some of you. Has Lillian posted today I don't think she has! Maybe she has her baby!

ThinkOfAWittyNameLater · 25/10/2016 20:07

Great minds derry it was curry for dinner here too. Already regretting it...

derryjojo · 25/10/2016 20:22

Think here's hoping it has the desired effect

Redken24 · 25/10/2016 20:32

had curry on sunday - the effect was sore tummy and lots of toilet! hope lillian is ok :)

Nickname1980 · 25/10/2016 21:21

Nothing here! Though am feeling mega emotional and fed up today. Someone on another thread I posted suggested that might be a sign.... but this one's head isn't even engaged yet! (41 weeks)

Redken24 · 25/10/2016 21:46

I just feel like its not going to happen. Stupid I know - I have been online shopping to take the edge off.

Nickname - do you know what your having?

Nickname1980 · 26/10/2016 06:44

Haha online shopping all the way!! redken!

We're having a boy - how about you? (Any signs overnight?)

Afreshstartplease · 26/10/2016 08:32

Any news anyone?

I have been doing loads of o line shopping this pregnancy and have continued now during night feeds

Have about half of the dcs Christmas presents bought which is good because two weeks ago I don't think I had any!

Ds will be 9 weeks at Christmas, I've never had such a young baby at this time of year! Ds2 would have been 7 months on his first Christmas and he's the youngest we have had so far. I have fond memories of him eating all the wrapping paper! This time I'll still be doing night feeds!

Redken24 · 26/10/2016 10:38

No idea what we having! If I knew there would be an influx of clothes for every year of life!
Im shattered today, went to bed last night was kicked within an inch of my life for an hour, then up for 2 with a hot water bottle, nausea and a squiffy tummy. OH working away so felt quite sorry for myself.
I have nearly all wrapped and still a few to buy!
But have been very proactive, bought some tiles for the bathroom, thinking of ideas for the fireplace (nothing else to do) I actually thought id be feeding a baby this week
Halloween Biscuit

Afreshstartplease · 26/10/2016 10:48

Ah redken it surely will happen soon! How many weeks/days are you now?

I love this time of year, I don't wrap until near enough Christmas Eve because I have to store kids presents at my parents house as we have no space to store them without risk of exposure! I also can't stand the thought of the paper getting bashed up before the big day Shock I'd be rewrapping everything!

Has anyone bought Christmas presents for the babies yet? Ive bought ds a Lamaze caterpillar and a book.

Redken24 · 26/10/2016 11:45

40+3 ,
So hoping for a Friday baby haha would be ok with a Halloween baby tho :D

I have no idea what to buy for baby! A first christmas bauble maybe - havent seen any i really like tho! :) any ideas?

whats lamaze caterpillar? :)

Afreshstartplease · 26/10/2016 11:55

m.boots.com/h5/cat_hub?unCountry=uk&path=%2Fen%2FLamaze-mix-and-match-catapillr_1762186%3F%3F%26cm_mmc%3Dbmm--google--PLAs-_-Boots%2520Shopping%2520-%2520Category%2520-%2520Health%2520and%2520Pharmacy%26gclid%3DCPrR_sKm-M8CFYcW0wod8FcI_A&

That's the Lamaze caterpillar, they make really nice touchy feely soft toys with different fabrics and stuff on. The caterpillar can be pulled apart and velcroed back together with the pieces in different orders. I thought he was cute Smile

Because we have older DC baby is going to have to have a seemingly similar sized present pile otherwise there will be questions about him being on the naughty list! I'm thinking I'll buy and wrap some clothes to bulk it out and perhaps get something big he can use in the coming months like a jumperoo or activity thing.

ThinkOfAWittyNameLater · 26/10/2016 16:40

Still pregnant & no sign of that changing. Grump.

On the plus side I've nearly finished all my Christmas shopping & wrapping (I'm hiding in a big suitcase). Never been this organised before - it's scary!

Dc1 was 10m at his first Christmas- I panicked & started a thread on the Christmas board here - got some great ideas. I'd link to it but not sure how :s

Time seems to have slowed down. How is it only Wednesday? It should be Friday at least? Maybe it's because I'm waking up every few hours to pee - baby really likes to punch my bladder.

Afreshstartplease · 26/10/2016 18:10

I have lost track of the days this week with the DC being off school. I was convinced this morning it was Thursday. Relieved when I realised it was weds so I can tackle the kitchen clutter tomorrow before mw comes again on Friday.

I am guessing Lillian must have had her baby as she's been AWOL a couple of days!

I feel like there's someone else too ...

LillianFullStop · 26/10/2016 19:33

Hey all sorry for the radio silence - had my little girl yesterday! 6lb and very cuddly! Hoping to be home soon - baby and I need to be on antibiotics because i was running a fever during labour.

Redken24 · 26/10/2016 20:13

Congrats Lillian! - hope it went as smoothly as it could with you being feverish.
Any names yet?
Very very jealous :-P Glad your both healthy though.

Afreshstartplease · 26/10/2016 20:18
