When I've read induction stories I've just focused on the good ones and also had a few chats with people who said it just kicked it off then they went onto have quick labours.
I'm now at +8 and still nothing. I'm just resigned to the fact it won't be until I'm induced on Monday
I'm also getting pissed off with my family and friends as they keep ringing and messaging me. I have no news for them and I feel hounded!

Baby girl born today at 5:10 pm, weighing 7lb 4.

We have to go to a different hospital tomorrow as she has a dimple at the base of her spine that they want to check, but I was born with the same thing so hopefully all will be fine.

Redken I became really tired in the last week or so of pregnancy. Now I feel like a new woman lol

ah well hoping you were gona say last day! first attempt at a sweep today (someone made the joke about a brush) hope they were joking! haha.
It was nice sleeping for so long in my bed though. :)

I'm now 40+4 and finally have brown discharge this morning! I'm keeping everything crossed that things start to happen quickly, rather than dragging out into next week; sleeping is so uncomfortable now.

I'm due to see the midwife for an extra check up tomorrow, as baby is measuring small, and then discussing sweeps at my 41 week appt next week. Fingers crossed we can meet our baby very soon!

Tea can you request a sweep at tomorrow's appointment?

Hmm, just popped to Halfords for new windscreen wipers & fitter (I can't reach haha!) said he thought there was a legal requirement for pregnant women to stop driving this late (38+5) in their pregnancy.

I rebuffed as think it's nonsense. Crikey a friend of mine drove herself to the hospital during established labour!

But now it's preying on my mind...

so bored of this ball today ..

I thought my waters were leaking so I popped to the hospital as they told me to come in. They checked and it wasn't my waters. Went for a long walk now tucked in bed. I really can't see it happening this weekend so I'll be induced on Monday

No action over here either positivity - so convinced it's not happening so I've made plans tonight and on the weekend... sweep on Monday! Who knew I'd find a sweep so exciting!!!

After a week of wishing it would all start I'm now thinking that it would actually be quite nice to have half term with DC1 uninterrupted. Sort of a double-bluff to get things going.
