Hi Girls

Been quite busy the last couple of days so been trying to keep up but not had time to post. 9weeks, glad you seem to be feeling a bit better. Hope everyone else who has been feeling a bit down is bouncing back little by little. It´s definitely ´that´ time, I think!

Happy belated birthday charnbump, hope you had a good one. x

I slept so well last night but had to get up early anyway to get showered because there are some street works and they were turning the water off. As it was I woke up but couldn´t quite GET up so have consoled myself that at least I had a bath last night. I think my hair might be a little worse for wear but hey ho. At least I slept well!

Good luck MIABT for you appt this pm, hope you find out all you need to know.

geordiemacminx · 13/02/2007 08:43

Morning ladies

Happy birthday Char.

Hope you are all well.... I had yesterday off as I havent been sleeping well at all.. not good really as it just makes me miserable and feel even worse... still billy slept in the spare room last night so had a better night, and am feeling a bit brighter this morning!!

4 coats WO???? What colour was it before? Black?? Ours took 2 and that was bad enough... still its all done now.. just waiting for the curtains I have ordered, and mum to bring lampshade up at weekend..

liath · 13/02/2007 08:53

Happy birthday Char!

Better night last night, DH had stopped puking by then, poor sod, but doesn't look like he's going to even make it out of bed today. We had a meal out saturday night & he had scallops and as no-one else is ill it must be food poisoning.

See you later WO!

Katy44 · 13/02/2007 09:23

gmm - was just wondering where you'd gone! I was doing a search to see when you last posted and this thread popped up!

geordiemacminx · 13/02/2007 09:28

OOOO cool I have a stalker!!!

I've been reading the posts as and when, just so bloody tired at the moment I cant be arsed with anything. So pleased that I only got the rest of this week, then off for a week then back for 3 days and thats me. I couldnt cope with work for another month as originally planned!!

Am in the process of trying to sell my car too which is stressing me out... some wee ned came to see it on sunday.. told him I was looking for somewhere in the region of 6k... his mammy said she could only afford up to 5300, so I said 5500, he's now piss arsing about offering 5000, even though I said he can have it for 5300.. the stupid thing is its a 2.0 sports coupe... so what on earth his mother is thinking buying it for his forst car is beyond me... I dread to think how much the insurance will be... probably see it wrapped round a lampost in a few weeks.... ok rant over

Katy - how did the durham meet up go?

Katy44 · 13/02/2007 09:33

It did occur to me that seemed a little stalkerish!
Durham meet up?? Have I missed it? Am getting really confused? As far as I know I think it's the end of this week, but everyone else is going the Friday after, so I might just see if I can get that time off rom work.
Better go and double check, in case Indith is sat in Vennels on her own

geordiemacminx · 13/02/2007 09:35

Nah its probably just be getting confused,.... it happens very easily these days!!!

flumppootle · 13/02/2007 09:51

Happy Brithday CharNbump

Cd how is your sore bit today?? Any better?
Psml at self trim Katy
Good luck with the move Cazboldy
AngeG great news about your scan
Sospl to your new picasso, they are fab cars.

Bramshott, I kept both my dds in pre-school for 4 mornings a week before they started big school. I found it a really good balance with them. They had their own time but didn't feel left out.
Not long now until your dh is home Clarice -yeah!

Liath at dhs food poisoining but that you cant catch it. LOL at coaxing dh into thinking that he 'helped' with hb decision. I think that us women have a real talent for that.
Good luck with appointment Miabt
9wks - what a decision to make! I am in a similar situation. Have to decide between induction with an elective episiotomy, I puke and howl like a baby at the thought of it or an elective section. I really cant decide and then just dont think about it telling myself that there is plenty of time

Mind is now mush but morning to everyone else and enjoy your coffee and natter Liath and Wo, will you be having yum yums ??

Katy44 · 13/02/2007 10:25

flumpootle, if it's not too personal, why do you have to make that decision in advance?

Katy44 · 13/02/2007 10:26

What I mean is, how do they know either will be necessary?

charNbump · 13/02/2007 10:29

Thank you ladies!!!

Katy44 · 13/02/2007 10:33

What are you up to between 11am and tonight? Anything nice? Glad you're having such a lovely day
Here's a virtual present

flumppootle · 13/02/2007 10:33

Have a fabulus day CharNbump, wish I was 21 again

Katy - its because of previous births. They have said no to a spontaneous labour and have given me those options

flumppootle · 13/02/2007 10:34

sp

Katy44 · 13/02/2007 10:40

I see, thanks - didn't mean to pry, just wondered how they could know in so much detail. (one more question, last one, I promise, what does 'sp' mean??)

flumppootle · 13/02/2007 10:41

LOL.... Spelling!

flumppootle · 13/02/2007 10:43

You were not prying. I dont like to say too much and scare the pants of the first timers out there

charNbump · 13/02/2007 10:44

Katy44 - thanks chicken...another thing that's made me smile

Well at 11am i shall abandon my computer and head off to mothers to chill for a bit, have a natter, see my sister and watch a bit of bid-up/price drop etc! haha!
Then got a nice big pile of tumble-drying to do, oh and the dishes!(nice) then with some of the money i've been given, think i'll pop up to Atlantic Village n nose around see if i can find anything stretchy enough to buy! ha ha! Then gotta go pay the deposit for our wedding reception......hmmm then going for a meal tonight. Quite busy, nothing majorly exciting, but i'm happy and anything's better than working! xxxxxxx

Katy44 · 13/02/2007 10:47

Sounds like fun (well apart from the dishes and tumble drying!)
I've seen 'sp' everywhere and always wondered what it meant! Now I know

flumppootle · 13/02/2007 10:53

Hows the house selling going Katy? Its very quiet down here which is a bit worrying.

Katy44 · 13/02/2007 11:00

We had two lots of people to see it in the 1st week and nothing since then - only been abt 2 weeks but feels like ages.
One couple were interested but aren't in a position to do anything until they've sold
Where are you? Do you hear a lot about what your agent's doing or are you just in the dark until they call to say someone wants to view?

geordiemacminx · 13/02/2007 11:03

God I really dont envy either of you.... just trying to sell the car is stressing me out to high heaven.... I have ended up dropping £800 just to get rid of the stupid thing.. dp really isnt happy.. he's one of these call their bluff tell them to poke it types, where as I just want rid!!!!

Is it esh you live Katy?

flumppootle · 13/02/2007 11:06

We are in Swindon. We seem to have people a couple of times a week but no serious offers yet. The agent was being quiet until dh roasted him on saturday. We have updated the details on rightmove and adjusted the price to see if that helps.
The stressful thing is is that we are due to buy our house in Scotland on 18th May, its a different legal system so we have exchanged up there already. The stress levels are rising
Do you have a house that you want to buy?

flumppootle · 13/02/2007 11:08

We just want rid too gmm. Would like to book removals etc and I am fed up with tidying this house every day for viewing with my three dcs trashing it

1becomes3 · 13/02/2007 11:09

Happy birthday charnbump!

I'm feeling very very very very uncomfortable today, may be it is because i had no sleep thanks to the fact that both DD and DH have yet another cold, my poor DH is sooo run into the ground he keeps picking up every kiddie cold that DD gets.

Had a look at my tum last night and I look like a blood zebra, all of a sudden have just reached my max stretch point and poor tum has errupted in millions of purple lines

Hope everyone is good I can't sit here much longer hurts too much will pop back later.

HUGS to everyone.
