I've never lost my baby weight 😓😓😓😓 I hate how I look now so getting pregnant isn't helping I also can't stop eating! Worked a night shift and ate my way through the shift then got a McDonald's breakfast then got a bag of beetroot crisps from aldi when I went to buy all their wooden toys and ate that. Such a pig

I try my best to be body positive and remind myself that my body is doing the most amazing thing the female body can: growing a human!

Of course I have days when I don't feel good about my body but I try not to indulge it or dwell on it... and I certainly don't beat myself up for eating when I'm hungry.

You're growing humans, ladies! Unless you are obese and/or have gestational diabetes, give yourselves a break! Wink

I sent SuperDuper a message to get added to the Facebook group but not heard anything, haven't seen her on here for a while. Are any of you ladies on there and could invite me please? Smile

Carolann8584 · 28/10/2016 10:55

Having a serious lazy day at work today, So far today I have been browsing the net for MAT clothes, New York in 2 weeks, need more clothes Smile

SuperDuperJezebel · 28/10/2016 11:16

Becca I sent you an email invite and replied almost straight away to your pm Smile. I'll send it again as the email invite often goes to spam.

SuperDuperJezebel · 28/10/2016 12:42

Guess what happened today, went to my appointment one month early 😂 Felt like such a doughnut when the receptionist looked at me and said your one month early with a smile on her face and theirs me rushing thinking I need to be quick otherwise I'll be late Hmm

Carolann8584 · 28/10/2016 12:59

Just added to my list, not bought yet. So hard to know what you might need as every baby is different.

if I get really desperate/confused I could see what my SILs recommend as they have 7 DC between them but really don't want to ask them anything TBH. I already get the LOOKS whatever I do or don't do with my DSSs, the comments that get to me the most is " if ..... was your child what would you do" Angry I have looked after 1 on my DSSs since he was 9 months old and he along with my brother are my children as well.

Carolann8584 · 28/10/2016 13:00

his not my brother lol...

ahsan · 28/10/2016 13:05

You all buying stuff now, I'm waiting till I'm at least 6 months to start

ahsan · 28/10/2016 13:06

Carolann8584 · 28/10/2016 13:08

ashan so far bought 1 outfit and pram coz it was reduced to better than half price, not got anything else, I have a list a mile long for after xmas Smile

NameChange30 · 28/10/2016 13:18

We've bought a few outfits but nothing big yet. We were waiting until the Black Friday sales but we might even wait until the post-Christmas sales, depends if we can decide what we want in the next month and how good the bargains are!

charlybs · 28/10/2016 13:33

we're buying stuff now - it'll help us to spread the cost across a few different pay days. and I'm excited Smile

Planning to buy post Christmas sales. When is Black Friday Namechange NOt sure that's too late though as I'll be heavily pregnantConfused

ahsan · 28/10/2016 14:30

Scan is in three weeks so might buy a few clothes. Excited to find out the sex of my baby:)

Carolann8584 · 28/10/2016 14:41

We were going to wait for Black Friday (25th November I think, day after Thanksgiving) but then we saw the travel system we were looking at went fro £399 to £169, I didn't think it would get better than that on Black Friday so bought straight away.

Scan on Tuesday, we will be buying another hopefully gender specific outfit but then nothing else until after New Year.

My older brother currently rents 1 of our spare rooms leaving my DSSs in the small bedroom but when he moves out in January the boys can go in the bigger room and the small room can be slowing turned into baby's room so then we will have somewhere to keep baby things we buy or are given. So will be all on the go in January, relaxing now Smile.

ahsan · 28/10/2016 14:53

:)

BeccaSays · 28/10/2016 14:56

Hi SuperDuper! I ran a search in my emails and found it, thank you very much Smile

SuperDuperJezebel · 28/10/2016 18:39

Yay, spotted your post in the FB group.

I'm the same as Charly, spreading the cost. Also I'm trying my hardest not to be superstitious (anxious!) and this helps. I'm 22 weeks today so not far off 6mo anyway!

ahsan · 29/10/2016 06:15

Who's finding it really hard to get a proper sleep? Driving me nuts.

NameChange30 · 29/10/2016 08:10

ahsan Me! Never had trouble sleeping before I got pregnant. Been sleeping lightly/badly ever since I got my BFP! I guess it's the body's way of training us for having a baby to look after Confused

MotherofA · 29/10/2016 08:28

I am struggling with sleep also . I wake up feeling like I haven't had any and have very vivid dreams !
We have bought quite a lot woops haha . I'm just trying to spread it out and am really excited . Got my changing mats , Moses basket , baby monitor (i went for angelcare sound & movement ) , some bottles and lots of clothes haha . Oh and got my dream pram because I walked in mothercare and they had a display model which was immaculate with a third off Smile
Carolann you should join our step parenting thread Here we go ! It's a great way to talk about all things step and there are no SM bashers on there hahahaha .
