Ghost ASOS have a good range of maternity clothes, so do New Look. I've had to start wearing my maternity jeans and boy are they comfortable! There are also loads on eBay. I've got two pairs of trousers/jeans, one dress and two t shirts. I didn't want to spend too much because I don't know how much stuff I'm likely to need. I was quite flat until this weekend when the bump popped out!

Oooh thank you for that rabbity! I'll check them all out. This is DC3 and the first time I will be purchasing "maternity" clothing. The other two I lived in leggings and baggy tops. I'm in a much better position to splash out a bit now on decent clothes! Especially if I'm "showing" from this early on.

In regards to the list, can't we C+P the one from the last thread and add newbies from there?

Yes, lovely to be here! I just keep saying to myself that it's likely to be ok! But the nerves I've had this week! Last time started bleeding at 6 + 5 so I'm just dreading that time now!
Not had a letter about my booking appointment - so no idea. I know that they don't like to do them before 8 weeks where I am as miscarrying is common before then. I think if I can get to 8 weeks, I may just relax a little bit. I just want October to zoom past so I can get to the scan. DH says not to wish it all away and to use the time doing other things etc. I'm really trying, but this week is dragging! How are you feeling? Any sickness as yet? I'm just sore breasts, nauseous and dry heaving in the evenings, twinges here and there - GP says all normal. I'm thankful for every symptom honestly.

Can't seem to copy and paste in my phone and feeling to sick to work it out!

Antisickness medication is not working today I feel like I have the worlds worse hangover today and being sick every couple of hours. Feeling very sorry for my self and feel in a bit of a daze hoping it's bed time soon abs I wake up at 12 weeks not feeling sick! Only 7+3 but over 4 weeks of sickness so far.

Order seemed a bit squiffy - have corrected below :)

Welcome July , we have the same due date!

Just got my booking appointment in for next week. Dilemma is whether to use my own leave for the appointment or tell my line manager in order to not have to use it. It just seems wrong letting work know before my parents! Especially without many symptoms and therefore thinking something may be wrong.

Well done on the list! We'll get there eventually.

Also very sick. DC got M&S chicken and salad for tea with garlic bread. They were over the moon with it as I couldn't face cooking though it's a poor excuse for tea when DH is away.

I had a private scan yesterday. Was amazing seeing my wriggly little blob I'm 9w1d today and have had awful nausea. Gone completely off food. Boobs very sore and massive. And by the end of the day I've got a bloated little pot belly and it is very obvious!

Oh Niks that is a great scan image, it's pretty clear! Makes it more tempting to get one but I still think I'm going to hold off for now anyway.

Oh Niks that's amazing, I've just had one yesterday at 8+1 and I'm amazed at the difference a week makes.

That's a great picture Niks, have mine tomorrow, can't wait.

DH forgot(!) to pick the kids up today from nursery which resulted in a mad rush for me to go and get them. He is feeling very guilty so us currently making dinner whilst I lie on the sofa!

Can someone reassure me that it's normal for symptoms to come and go? After a week of horrendous nausea including vomiting yesterday, I feel so much better today.

I should probably just be grateful but I'm worried a bit that it means something is wrong.

sunny I asked the exact same thing in the last thread! I seem to be in a pattern of 2days feeling terrible and the rest of the week perfectly fine!
The ladies on here reassured me that it's quite normal. Guess we should just relax and be thankful we are not suffering everyday - looks like we are the lucky ones :) (for now at least touches wood)

I had dating scans with my girls pregnancies for different reasons and couldn't wait for the 12week scan with this one so we paid £70 for a private scan. I've got about 20 photos and a usb stick with moving images :) was amazing and totally worth the money especially for the reassurance that everything is fine.

Icoco what does your scan look like at 8 weeks? It is incredible how different they look week by week isn't it.
I still haven't heard from a midwife about booking in appointment or the12week scan.

This is my fourth pregnancy and I think for my first two I was blissfully unaware that things could go wrong, I had no Internet and was the first one of my friends and siblings to have a child. I know so many ladies now who have had mmc, babies that were very unwell and still births, it has made me so much more aware and so much more anxious about this pregnancy. I just feel am trying to second guess all the symptoms. For example tonight I feel sick but different to how I have been feeling, so of course I wonder if that is something to be concerned about, this trimester is dragging on!

Niks it wasn't as defined, mine was more round, whereas yours has a baby shape. I don't have a picture as it was an emergency NHS scan but I was shocked how clear the heartbeat was. We were originally booked in for a private scan on Thursday as I thought it was closer to 9wks and would be more defined. It's such a great feeling.

Sunny I had a lack of symptoms around 7 weeks, then I got a new ones a couple of days later, my boobs got worse and good aversions kicked in.

One thing I seem to be finding is that most things are normal, which really doesn't help the anxiety.

sunny and gurtie I'm the same with symptoms. Same thing happened in my last pregnancy. Today I have felt wonderful. Yesterday I felt awful. The midwife last time assured me all was fine. You get a big surge of hormones and it sends your body a bit crazy with nausea then you adjust, feel fine and then more hormones so you feel rotten again! This can go on until the placenta takes over (somewhere from weeks 9-13) and the pregnancy isn't so hormone based any more. No worries, it's all good!

I have no signs of a bump at all, but I'm only 6 weeks today. It is dc2 though so I am fully expecting it to show before I want it to.

Hi everyone,
I will be a couple of weeks behind you in terms of gestation. My first was an EMCS so I will probably elect for one this time around, so will hopefully have another noisy person towards the end of May. I'm keeping everything crossed that s/he is sticky.
Symptoms so far: sore boobs, peeing for Britain, headaches and nausea. Although I'm hoping the latter is psychosomatic as I don't much fancy that starting so soon.

I'm already planning new buggy / cot / mat leave and I only POAS two hours ago!

Yay, another one for 21st May, so exciting!
Hmmm, I've not had anything through for a booking appointment yet. I feel like when I have an appointment, it will start to feel a bit more real!
I know what you mean about not wanting to let work know before parents. Can't you book it off as an appointment or do they need to know what it's for?
Have you got many symptoms? I think it's so easy for me to hide as my nausea is mainly in the evening!
