Anyone else Due June 2017?

1000 replies

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

I feel horrific.

Mommytobe2017 · 17/10/2016 16:07

Thanks Peace, I will be getting some bonjela tomorrow! Grin. Hope you're doing ok?

I've just got back from my friends, met her two week old baby for the first time.
I'm still struggling to believe that I have a baby growing inside me Hmm
We haven't told anyone yet except our parents and work. I'm finding it really hard to keep it from them. She asked me if I wanted one now... I wanted to scream 'Actually, I'm 6 weeks pregnant!!'

Only another 6 weeks till we will be telling everyone...

Skee · 17/10/2016 16:10

Oh sorry to hear that peace! Hugs!

FlashingLights · 17/10/2016 16:54

Sorry to all of you guys feeling nauseous- ginger is very good for settling the stomach. Try some ginger biscuits or tea?

I went to EPU today due to cramping/bleeding over the weekend, they couldn't see anything on scan Sad but I think I could be as little 13DPO (irregular cycles since my implant being removed & think I had a 2nd LH surge as got over pains on 4th) but 5+5 by LMP. Hopefully it's just too early to see anything.

They've just phoned me with my blood results; hcg 683 and progesterone 44 - from what I can see via Dr Google those levels seem ok. I have to go back on Weds for repeat bloods.

FlashingLights · 17/10/2016 16:54

Ovulation* not over pains!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/10/2016 16:59

Ginger made no difference to me last time. It did put me off ginger for life, though.

MumofthreeandBean · 17/10/2016 17:02

Fingers crossed flashingLights

Having mine on Friday

BoBo90 · 17/10/2016 17:11

Fx for you flashing lights!

Sorry to hear of all the sickness! Hope it settles for everyone soon X

I've had my epu scan today for suspected ectopic and the nurse found little bean straight away and baby is perfectly positioned 😁😍 saw the heart beat too but still doesn't feel real!! Also found out I'm a week less than I thought which I guess makes sense as I thought implantation happened a week after ov which would make baby a week less! (Shame it wasn't a week more but I'm not complaining 😁)

6 weeks!

MoonlightMojitos · 17/10/2016 17:38

peace 😂 I feel horrific too. I'm so sorry for myself lol. Was sick in the work toilets and thought wow, this is crap isn't it. I've come home straight to bed. I have a headache too but unsure if it's related to pg or what really. Ginger has made no difference to me either. Peppermint tea has been good for indigestion but doesn't help sickness either.

mommy I know how you feel! On Saturday I was talking to my aunt about a hen do we're both going to next year (that I know I can't go to now) and I just wanted to tell her so bad!!! But just had to go along with it.

Fx for you flashing that it's too early. They definately wouldn't see anything that early would they. When did you get a BFP? Good luck for weds.

YAY bobo! I knew it would be nothing to worry about :) Congrats, bet you feel amazing now after seeing bean! It's all very odd this early isn't it even after you've seen it!

Skee · 17/10/2016 17:47

Fingers crossed for good news on Wednesday FlashingLights x x

Congratulations BoBo! x x

annakd1234 · 17/10/2016 18:09

Fingers crossed for you flashing! And yay for you bobo!

I feel truly awful today. I don't know if it's tiredness from the weekend catching up with me - worked 13hour days fri, sat, sun. But I feel horrid, I'm freezing cold - sat I front of the fire in a hoody and under a blanket. Hopefully it'll pass, still really hungry all the time too, if I'm not eating I'm feeling sick, bleurgh

peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/10/2016 18:16

Having big regrets to be honest. Can't be bothered feeling this awful and I know I will struggle with a baby and a toddler.

Have another baby, she said!
It'll be fine, she said!

Hmm
Poppydm · 17/10/2016 18:50

Thinking of you today Mojitos
Sorry to hear about the sickness. So hard to try to 'act normal' when you feel like a bag of sh*t.
Purple my first real symptom was a ridiculous hunger. That started probably just before my bfp. Then it was tiredness and that started just after bfp. The past two weeks I've had sore, aching boobs and I d had night sweats on and off. Just this past week I've had a lot of bloating and just feeling rotten after eating.
Skee I had to tell one person at work as we need a risk assessment when pregnant. I felt a bit narked with her though as she put a bit of pressure on me to tell my main boss who cannot hold his water. I flatly said no though. There's no way I want everyone finding out yet and also want to tell close family and friends first. I'll probably tell him in a few weeks as there's a few things that will need to be checked for me that it's ok to do.
Peace I've also had the 'you look knackered' crack and to be fair, they're not wrong. Up again to pee through the night and another night sweat!
I spoke to the midwife today and she is coming to do my first appointment next Tuesday at my house. I'll be 8+1.

Poppydm · 17/10/2016 18:51

That's great news Bobo Smile
Got everything crossed for you Flashing.

MoonlightMojitos · 17/10/2016 18:56

Oh peace it must be hard with a young one already. This is my first and at the moment there's no way I'd be in any state to look after a little un whilst feeling like this. Dp just cooked me dinner, had to run to be sick half way through but on the plus side it did actually relieve me a bit and I could eat the rest. I still have a banging headache though although I've been in bed for an hour, hasn't helped :(. I took some paracetemols just before tea but probably sicked them back up, don't want to risk taking more though Hmm. Bravo to all you ladies who already have a dc to look after when pg! Going to stop with the screen time tonight now to try and shift this headache.

Masweetpea1 · 17/10/2016 19:17

I'm a little worried too peace, my little darling has just screamed and tantrumed her way to bed. I'm absolutely knackered now!! How the hell do you do it with more than 1?! Hmm

MumofthreeandBean · 17/10/2016 19:52

Just a warning guys!
Start moisturising your bellies ASAP!
I know this is baby number 4 for me but I've just had a bath and I already have stretch marks on my left and right sides!!! I'm in shock! Not even 8 weeks until weds!!!!
I lathered so much cream in, I already look like the London Underground Shock

Mummyh2016 · 17/10/2016 20:05

Had a call off the midwife today, wasn't expecting to hear off her for 3 weeks as the doctors receptionist said they don't contact till 8 weeks. Booked in for first appointment on 7th November when I'll be 8+3. Feeling a bit more real now. Smile

Mommytobe2017 · 17/10/2016 20:11

Mojitos, it's so difficult keeping it quiet. At least the ladies at work know so I don't have to be secretive around them.
I didn't want to tell them but I had to for H&S bcus I'm a lab technician so there's a few chemicals I need to be wary of.

Peace, sorry to hear you're feeling so ill. Smile

So when do you generally start showing. Mum, I thought it wasn't till 3 months or so?

How do I make your names bold? I only seem to have the option for italic... I'm posting from my phone. In bed watching Blue Bloods. Too lazy to go down and get the laptop Grin

Skee · 17/10/2016 20:12

Aww peace, sorry you're having such a rough time of it. As we all know by now, I have no experience of this at the moment, so I'm sorry I can't offer any advice to make you feel better. Is there anything the GP or midwife can give you to ease your suffering a wee bit?

Chin up buddy x x Flowers

Skee · 17/10/2016 20:13

Hey Mommy - you just put an * at either side of the word you want to make bold x x

Mommytobe2017 · 17/10/2016 20:14

Mummy, I'm booked in for 8th November Grin I'll be 9 weeks by then Shock
You'll have to let me know how it goes! I'm still excited and nervous!

Mommytobe2017 · 17/10/2016 20:15

Oh thank you skee Grin

Skee · 17/10/2016 20:23

That's pretty challenging Poppy, well done for standing your ground!

I've got a team meeting in Devon in a few weeks time, I'll be 10wks by then and not ready to tell anyone at work by that point, but I don't know how the hell im going to get around it?

There'll be drinks after work and then with dinner (I've got that covered, I'm using the 'antibiotics' excuse) but it's the activities that I don't know how to avoid? We're going surfing, which I really enjoy, but I always get a kicking and I really don't fancy the cold water whilst pregnant either.... I might have to feign injury?! Grin
