Anyone else Due June 2017?

1000 replies

pinkiponk · 21/09/2016 20:40

BFP last Friday, will (hopefully) be my second child, as have a 2 year old DS already. Doctor said I was due 2 June Smile
Feeling very excited, but quite nervous as had a MMC before DS, so noticing when symptoms have gone/come back!
Also finding it hard not being able to talk to anyone in RL (obviously DH knows).
Anyone else got this news recently and care to join? Smile

So hear I am, enjoying a nice cup of decaf earl grey accompanied by a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup in front of the telly, when I'm hit right between the eyes with what can only be described as the worst hangover I've ever had.

Righto, that'll be the nausea then Envy

MumofthreeandBean · 17/10/2016 06:52

Been awake on and off since 3 am - getting fed up now!
My dreams are so vivid I was sure my mother in law owned a cafe near the sea and we told her about bean and she asked if we had enough room in the car!! 🙄 I imagined climbing a mahoosive staircase with a baby seat trying to get to my car in a multi-storey garage and I couldn't go any further.
What do these strange dreams mean? I just got a 7 seater so car space is no problem!! Lol

Hope those of you who are chilly are ok - I am the opposite and regularly getting hot flushes - hubby told me I had bright red cheeks yesterday like a Christmas elf 😂

7.5

Blueskyrain · 17/10/2016 07:54

Had my positives yesterday. Feeling very nervous, but tentatively happy I guess.

Internet says due 23rd June.

Im very anxious about pregnancy and get the feeling I'll be relying on here quite a lot!

MundayCakes85 · 17/10/2016 08:01

Oh good, thought I was about to faint. Had to sit with my head on the table. Good morning everyone!

Sunshinie · 17/10/2016 08:11

Hello all
I'm already on the May group but think I will actually get an early June due date when I go for my dating scan so is it ok to join two groups?
I think I am around 7 weeks at the moment. My cycles were quite irregular after coming off the pill then long haul flights in August mucked them up again so it's been a bit hard to work out. No real sickness but generally feeling rubbish and so so tired all the time.
Archer, you sound a lot like me- first time pregnant, and on mumsnet and a teacher, as well as first month trying and expecting to have to wait around a year!

PurpleHaze1 · 17/10/2016 08:21

Welcome bluesky & sunshinie

Oh dear Munday, hope you're ok now

At what stage did everyone start getting really obvious symptoms? I'm only 4+3 & have no nausea/dizziness, my boobs are a bit sore but not as bad as I remember with DD. Although I didn't know I was pg with DD until I was 5/6 weeks. Trying not to worry but can't help it! Confused

DizzyNorthernBird · 17/10/2016 08:22

Thanks vegan I'll take a look at those. Although I had a falling out with ovia when it lost 8 months of cycle data!

So......I was very irresponsible last night and rode pillion on DP's motorbike for the first time. Blush Luckily I didn't die Grin but couldn't help thinking to myself about how I've resisted riding pillion since he passed his test 3 years ago, and I decide it's a good idea the weekend I find out I'm upduffed?! Maybe the new found bravery is a sypmtom?! Grin

Mommytobe2017 · 17/10/2016 08:37

I had a better night last night. Hope everyone else did too?

Obviously I had to go to the toilet...
No naseua yet. Fingers crossed I'll manage

I have a really bad mouth ulcer but I've found that I can't use bonjela Sad I used warm salt water last night, will be doing that again this morning

TallRedhead · 17/10/2016 09:07

Hello!! Late to join as been anxious following x2 MC & ectopic.
But I do have 2 children already so I know it can stick!!
Number 3 must be mad but so excited.
Due June 2nd.
Booking in with MW 2nd Nov.
No early scan as advised no need unless I bleed.

We've told no one!! Need to tell work soon as I'm in the Army and there are a few things coming up I really ought not to do!!

peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/10/2016 09:33

You can use Bonjela. Don't suffer for no reason.

Donostia · 17/10/2016 09:41

I haven't told anyone either. I live abroad, and even though I had DS here I have forgotten completely how to be pregnant in this country. You're all talking about booking in appointments.... I remember turning up early at the doctor and being turned away last time, and so I'm not sure when/what to do now!!

I have completely forgotten what to do and keep catching myself drinking too much coffee and then remembering.

I want to try and hide it until after xmas (easy as live abroad so nobody in the UK needs to know, and here I can wear big jumpers!) But will tell my Mum when she visits in a couple of weeks.

babyand · 17/10/2016 09:49

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow I will be 4+4. My c section wound only fully healed in Feb so I'm hoping it won't cause any complications!

Skee · 17/10/2016 09:53

Hello Bluesky, Sunshine and Tallredhead* - congratulations! Star

Me9an · 17/10/2016 10:03

Hello all!

Can I tentatively join please? Got my bfp on the 07/10 but yesterday and today have been having fairly strong cramping. This is my first baby so I have no idea whether this is normal or not Confused

I think I'm 5.2

Skee · 17/10/2016 10:26

Hi Me9an - congratulations!!

This is my first too - I've had all sorts of cramping over the last week, some painful some pretty light. I'm feeling much more relaxed about it now after some reassurance from this thread. There's plenty of us with the same symptoms, im learning that's it's all part of the uterus growing and changing x x

MoonlightMojitos · 17/10/2016 10:56

Welcome newbies!

haze I felt fine until I was 5+3 then started feeling sick alot but not too bad. 6 weeks on Friday it hit me bad, eurgh. Apart from the nausea I don't really have other symptoms though. I'm a bit emotional but that's it.

6+4. Today is the day it all went wrong for me last time round but trying to stay positive. I didn't feel half this rough last time so taking that as a good sign for sticky one :).

Skee · 17/10/2016 11:30

Thinking of you today Mojitos! x

Masweetpea1 · 17/10/2016 11:43

Good luck today mojitos, this Friday is the day it went wrong last time for me so I'm just watching the calendar and my knickers!! But like you i have stronger symptoms this time round so fingers crossed!

NappingRabbit · 17/10/2016 11:50

Sorry to all those feeling crap.

I am completely shattered with mild nausea. I had two lie ins this weekend and still napped both afternoons. DH is away this coming weekend on a stag do so I have no clue how I'm going to manage if DS decides to wake up early both days. Need to have an action plan to wear him out I think.

Skee · 17/10/2016 12:32

Oh no Ma sorry to hear you're feeling rough, but your post did make me laugh!

I'm feeling pretty yucky today and not looking much better either ^ so I guess it's funny coz it's true (for me, anyway) 😂

haveacupoftea · 17/10/2016 12:47

Afternoon everyone. I am so fed up with work today. I am knackered and feel like shit. Kept waking up during the night with my own snoring (!), having to pee and feeling cold. So resentful of the additional stress my managers pile on me and my team by leaving us short staffed when they don't really need to. To me it feels like they are putting me and my baby's health at risk by putting me under so much pressure. My symptoms have lessened quite a bit too - no sickness or anything the last few days - which is worrying me. I went to the chemist when I went out to get my lunch and had a digi in my hand then thought - this won't lead to anything good - put the hpt down!

Oh well I am cheering myself up with a very nutritious chicken curry with chips and fat coke Blush

peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/10/2016 14:02

My friend also said I looked knackered and ill today. Ain't that the truth.

Skee · 17/10/2016 15:43

Hope you're ok tea x x

When were you planning on telling work? Perhaps if you feel like it's having a negative effect on your health, it might be better to inform them of your pregnancy and tell them they need to ease the pressure a bit? x

I'm in a fairly similar position - I work on the road and this is my busiest time of year. I drive all over the country to train staff and attend consumer events, so I spend a lot of time driving... I don't know how I'm going to manage if I'm going to continuously feel this sick (today I had to drive with a plastic bag to hand Blush ) I had a 65hr week last week, and this is going to continue till March Confused

Skee · 17/10/2016 15:44

How's your sickness peace? Any better today? x
