Sparkles dont go to work! Rest is what you need!
Nope, it wont harm the bubba because these bubbas are very clever and they take everything they can from you. But it will live you exhausted. Maybe call midwives or take iron? I started taking a bit more iron and gave up coffee and a bit better although today I am zzzzzzzzzz
Shell it is real now Grin

Bisquick · 03/10/2016 08:43

Another one here who is exhausted, but have also been working almost the entire weekend (had a freelance project to finish). Just want to get through this morning and then sneak back home for a nap.
Once I finished this extra long project though I treated myself by buying a inch of fun fabric! Going to try making a few fun things :)
Anyone else having the cough from hell as the season changes? Diva and sparkles hope you feel better soon! Healthy food seems like an excellent idea. Might try to make something proper tonight to last us this week since I just feel I've been eating way too much crap!
And Shell congrats on the pram!
Ready I've been having the occasional glass of bubbly too. DH came back from the shop v excited yesterday to have found some non-alcoholic wine - no idea how it'll taste but will try it next weekend :)

Bisquick · 03/10/2016 08:45

Bunch of fabric, clearly.. not much you can do with an inch of fabric ;)

Morning everyone!
Anyone else have scans this morning?
I've got my 20 weeks scan and a cervical length scan straight after.
I'm guessing team pink Smile

Evergreen17 · 03/10/2016 11:41

Sleepy good luck Smile
Bis those fabrics are lovely
I have my whooping cough vaccine tomorrow so I called to ask if they could give me the flu as well, since I dont like getting time off work all the time
The receptionist found it amusing and laughed Hmm and said no , that needs to be done at a different appointment Hmm

CeeCeeEnnEss · 03/10/2016 12:33

I'm due to have my jabs this afternoon but I'm not well so I'm not sure they'll give them to me. I feel very low, it's very unlike me. Terribly anxious, really on the verge of tears all the time, I just want to sleep. Sorry for the whinge, just feeling fed up.

Good luck for today's scans xx

ScottishSnowflake · 03/10/2016 12:41

Evergreen, just ask when you're in having your jab, hopefully the nurse will be able to sort in no time!

Hope everything goes well today Sleepy Smile

FriendlyGhost · 03/10/2016 13:56

Good luck Sleepy!
I had one in each arm at the same time last pregnancy Evergreen. Definitely ask the nurse.
So tired today. Dd was awake three times last night. I eventually shoved calpol down her at about 3am which seemed to do the trick luckily. I'm trying to mentally prepare myself for never sleeping again when the next baby arrives!

LondonGirl83 · 03/10/2016 14:48

Good luck Sleepy

I love all the crafty stuff you ladies are doing. I have not time and no skill though :(

My scan is on Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday morning I have my jabs (flu and whopping). Then I have a physio appointment at the hospital. I'll probably be in the office for 3 hours on Wednesday!

I'm having a bad day at work. Sometimes I feel like the people I work with are really not at all bright and it depresses me. The quality of the people in my office has really fallen in recent years.

I've also been offered a job elsewhere and part of me wonders if despite the crazy potential timing if it isn't time for me to move on.

PianoOnlyTheWhiteKeys · 03/10/2016 15:59

I know how you feel london. Even on days when I've been feeling shattered recently and when I was in the throws (literally) of MS I still wondered how people can be so average at their jobs and I'm having to push them to get stuff done. It's depressing to have to lower expectations at work...

How are you feeling about taking the other job? How long will it be open for?

Wonderlust123 · 03/10/2016 16:50

How did your scan go, Sleepy?

I had mine this morning (finally!). Got to see the little one, although it wasn't quite cooperating, so back again in a week or so, which I'm not complaining about Smile ! DP recons he heard the sonographer saying 'and the penis, and....' , although I didn't hear that and think it may be wishful thinking on his part!

Everything seems to be growing as it should, which eases my nerves.

sleepyMe12 · 03/10/2016 17:06

It's a boy! I'm in shock Grin
Scan went well baby looking good was quite tucked away so had to jiggle him about a bit to get the measurements they needed!

SBSparkles · 03/10/2016 17:14

Cece sorry you're feeling that way. I'm with ya! I think tiredness makes us weepy. My nan said in her day women didn't work in pregnancy as the cost of living was lower and they could survive off one wage. Sounds nice.... Can you spend this next weekend in bed watching films or sleeping? The anxiety is probably down to being tired too. It is hard to relax when you are knackered. I'm finding chai lattes are nice in the evenings. Hope you feel better soon!

SBSparkles · 03/10/2016 17:14

Sleepy and wonderlust congrats on the scans!!! More boys! GrinGrin xx

wispaxmas · 03/10/2016 17:17

Congrats on the boy, sleepy!

ever, you can definitely have both at the same time, I know of loads of people who have.

divadee · 03/10/2016 17:27

Again I'm here seeking advice. All afternoon I have had quite bad pressure on my cervix. I have had a stressful day but been with my feet and legs up since 2pm and it's not easing. I can feel bubs bouncing on my cervix but I still have all the pressure. The only way I can describe it is like I need a poo out of my vagina (sorry!!)

I am knackered and stressed with work so don't know if it's that. Bubs is still very low down so don't know if it's that. Do I call the out of hours midwife line? I just feel like I'm always bothering them (have called 3 times in the first trimester).

twocatsandatoddler · 03/10/2016 17:32

diva if you're worried, call them. They would absolutely rather hear from an over-reacting pregnant lady than someone not contacting them in the case of something actually being wrong. And that's advice I've been given by a midwife friend!

divadee · 03/10/2016 17:36

Thanks twocats I think I will give them a ring. Hopefully they won't sigh when they hear it's me.

CeeCeeEnnEss · 03/10/2016 17:41

Thanks SBSparkles, I am indeed hoping to spend this weekend doing very little. I will WFH as much as I can too.

Congrats on the boy sleepy :)

wispaxmas · 03/10/2016 17:44

Never feel like a nuisance - if you're worried, call! Though if it makes you feel any better, I've had similar feeling as my baby is also ridiculously low down (even though I have a bump up high) and I'm getting most kicks around my pubic hair line! If I walk around a lot I get a ridiculously achey vag (tmi, haha).

divadee · 03/10/2016 17:56

Oh wispa if you have it as well maybe it's nothing to worry about.

Himself has just gone out for the evening and I promised him I would call them and call him but if it's normal I feel stupid and silly.

divadee · 03/10/2016 18:21

Just an update. I called the out of hours number and they want to see me at 9.30 tonight. Feel a bit better about calling them now.

LondonGirl83 · 03/10/2016 18:23

Congrats on the scand wonder!

Congrats on the boy sleepy

Divadee definitely call-- better safe than sorry

wispa I have a low down baby and low placenta and an achy vag! I told DH yesterday and he asked if I was aching from him [hmmm]

Piano the firm know I am pregnant and know I would do mat leave before starting with them. I'm of two minds. The new job would be a better professional opportunity and I might fit in better in the firm. However, going into a new job relatively soon after becoming a first time mother is intimidating me. Also, that role is likely to involve more travel which in general I love but I might feel differently about it post baby. In reality I'm very torn!

Shellbell0403 · 03/10/2016 19:07

diva i had that and called the hospital, they told me to go down and get checked... better for your peace of mind xx

divadee · 03/10/2016 19:10

What happened when you went in shell I'm waiting for himself to get back and getting myself in a panic. I thought it was me overreacting so was surprised when they said to go in at 9.30.
