Hi again, regarding the FB group, I've had a couple more requests recently, but I just wanted to reiterate that the easiest way to join is to PM me with your email address, as the group is secret and I otherwise have to add people as friends and as much as I like the popularity I usually do prefer a more pared down friendslist. And if there's ever a time when I'm not able to add people (like the 2-1/2 weeks I'll be in Canada this month), anyone in the group can add people either by adding as friends or by entering an email address in the 'invite members' box.

Obvious disclaimer: don't feel like you have to join and don't worry: this thread is obviously thriving, so I doubt there's any risk of it fizzling out if people join the group, just that I know sometimes the MN thread format can be difficult to follow for some.

Bought a sewing machine (after so much thought) a few weeks ago and made this quilt and a cotton kimono/onesie for the little bean. Feeling inspired to make a few other bits and bobs although probably not too many clothes since I've been warned that he may outgrow them quite fast? hope you all are having a good weekend!

Bisquick I'm just in love with those!!! I've had two big babies so this time around I've bought three plain white babygros in newborn (my second was 9lb3.5 and wore them for about a week) five unisex babygros in 0-3 and 10 vests in 0-3. I'll be going shopping for girl or boy clothes as soon as I feel well enough after the birth so not got much as knowing me I'll be getting hubby to take me shopping about two or three days after lol. I have got a white pram suit and stuff like hats and mittens too as it will likely be cold. Also got plenty onlf unisex blankets too, especially love the green and yellow one we got

I started making a crochet baby cardigan yesterday but don't think I followed the pattern properly so will start again. I made a little baby hat the other week, can't remember if I posted it here or on the fb group.

Clothes all look lovely! I have a sewing machine but no idea how to use it! My friend is asking her mum to knit me a little jacket! So nice of her!

I am feeling very sorry for myself and so bloody rough. Had flu and whooping cough jab yesterday and literally feel like absolute death. Spent all day in bed and don't know what to do with myself.

Diva I'm the same! My jab was yesterday and been in bed all day! I think it goes quite quickly! It is also that time of year. I think I was getting something before that anyway. Hope you feel better soon! Lots of warm drinks and healthy food!

Phew sparkles glad it's not just me. But really sorry you are suffering. I am the worlds worst patient as well. Feel so sorry for myself and literally can't get comfy anywhere.

scottish went for the mamas and papas armadillo one in mulberry/plum. Got a great deal on it! The car seat also has wee shock absorber parts that pop out when in the car

Feeling a bit better this morning. Arms are still aching like mad but the headache and chills are less. Which is a good job as I have a manic day with 2 important meetings at work. Then home for a nap.
