Thanks for all the congrats ladies - so relieved!

Yaaaay shell!!

Good luck, Ever!!!

Wonderlust123 · 29/09/2016 21:55

I don't love it, but don't mind 'Archer', although it seems a bit odd to use it as the long form of 'Archie', but I completely agree with the 'bald' bit of Archibald being one of the main reasons I don't fancy using it.

LunaPatuna · 30/09/2016 03:10

Middle of the night trapped wind / am I hungry funtimes! Hmm

MarjorySunshineDust · 30/09/2016 07:17

Ok this baby is already way more wiggly than DD ever was!!

SBSparkles · 30/09/2016 07:17

Two cats sounds like you have a winner of a dh there!!! Yes I'm the same - waking up early and then am too hungry or thinking too much to go back to sleep! Try getting up for a bit then going back to bed. I also find drinking warm will help x

SBSparkles · 30/09/2016 07:18

Good luck with scan evergreen Smile

LunaPatuna · 30/09/2016 07:24

Thanks SBSparkles , I was up for a while pacing and tried a couple of yoga poses (definitely what I want to be doing at 3am!)
Think I'm just feeling a lot of stretching and slowed down digestion- so uncomfy though.

Good luck today Evergreen ! Star

ScottishSnowflake · 30/09/2016 07:29

Shellbell0403 · 30/09/2016 07:43

Good luck today evergreen twinnie

twocatsandatoddler · 30/09/2016 07:49

SB sadly it was DS that woke me this morning when I otherwise would probably been able to sleep for ages! He's been really tired this week and we've needed to wake him up at 7 for nursery, so no idea why he chose my day off to decide to wake at 5:30!

Yeah my DH has been great. He's been coming home a bit earlier than usual most nights so he can cook, normally I do it because I'm home earlier most nights from picking up DS but he knows I'm tired and just want to crash out once I've put DS to bed.

FriendlyGhost · 30/09/2016 08:00

Good luck Evergreen!
Your DH sounds amazing twocats. When my dd woke at 7am last Sunday morning my DH rolled over, told me she was awake in case I didn't hear and then went back to sleep. He almost didn't survive the day Angry

twocatsandatoddler · 30/09/2016 08:16

Ha, Friendly, I get my fair share of that at weekends too! Neither of us is a morning person so we struggle and but thankfully DS isn't a massively early riser for a toddler (7ish usually) - 5:30 this morning was unusual and very painful!

LondonGirl83 · 30/09/2016 09:09

Good luck ever!

kikisdelivery · 30/09/2016 12:10

Congrats on the scans Fenella and sparkles!! I was in such a work flap yesterday I didn't say, sorry Smile glad everything was all good!

Good luck for today Ever !!!

We are off on hols tomorrow for a week to Spain, eeeee!! I'm now starting to get properly excited Grin though I have had a crisis of not having any shorts that fit, argh!!

So I might not be about much. We got an apartment rather than a hotel room, so we have a bit of space to be comfy. Apparently it's got wifi so hopefully I'll get on here a bit - I have to get my fix!

I won't lie, I'm a bit nervous about flying pregnant, I've never done it before! But I am just going to get a huge bottle of water once we're through security, and maybe some sexy, sexy flight socks, and try and move about on the plane if I can. It's only a couple of hours flight time, but I'm not a brilliant flyer anyway - I can never fully relax. I'm going to take iphone/music/kindle/whatever....though it is a 6am departure so I might surprise myself and be zonked!

Currently winding up on the work tasks, but things have calmed down a lot from yesterday so I feel like a massive stress weight has lifted. I'm definitely like some of you at the moment, though - if I wake up for the loo in the night, I really find getting back to sleep hard, either from overthinking about nonsense or from just being uncomfy. Hopefully a week in some sunshine will be what the Dr ordered Smile

kikisdelivery · 30/09/2016 12:43

Gah! Not Sparkles on the scan, sorry, Shell !!!

I'll get there in the end... brain farts are a pretty regular occurrence these days!

FriendlyGhost · 30/09/2016 13:00

Have a lovely holiday kiki! I'm off to the canaries next week and I can't wait either. Pregnancy is forcing me to pack light as I only have one pair of shorts and a couple of dresses. The flight will be fine. Just make sure you move around if you can. I'm also a nervous flier and am slightly dreading a 4 1/2 hour flight with a toddler on my lap. Trying not to think about that too much at the moment!

CeeCeeEnnEss · 30/09/2016 13:00

Have a great holiday kiki! So jealous :)

Mysterycat23 · 30/09/2016 13:17

Here's the hoodie finished :)

SBS sorry to hear you're feeling rubbish. Hope you can catch up on sleep and plenty of food!

Up til now work has been ok but this week suddenly a huge last minute project got dumped on my desk by higher ups who have not thought it through, and ended up having to work more hours to basically put out the fire caused by it not being properly planned out and so rushed! I could feel myself physically tensing up and heart rate going, it has been horrible. Day off today to go have blood tests done but I feel stressed still, trying to relax but it's difficult. Need to have the strength to set better boundaries next time and take more breaks. Helps since today consultant told me to take a break every 45 mins and walk around to protect against blood clots Confused all pregnant ladies have increased risk apparently. Test will show whether or not I've a genetic marker for increased risk as family history of dvt.

A bit late but I loved Barry the Baby! Grin

Due February 2017 - Thread 8!
kikisdelivery · 30/09/2016 13:22

ooh enjoy your hols too Friendly Grin I definitely don't envy you with a toddler to keep you super busy on the flight, while you're already also pregnant! I'm sure you'll have plenty to distract you from the flying itself!

And thanks CeeCee Smile - I can't believe this'll be our last holiday as a 2! Or a 2.5 at least!

Mystery I love that hoodie! I wish I was crafty. I am a good cook, but knitting/crocheting/crafting in general just eludes me. Thankfully I have a knitting chum who's promised to make some bits, hurrah!

Evergreen17 · 30/09/2016 14:16

Back from the scan!! Grin
I was right all along!!! It is a boy!!!!! SmileGrinSmileSmileSmileGrinGrinSmile

Shellbell0403 · 30/09/2016 14:49

Forgot to say to you yesterday aswell I queried about the lack of movement I could feel and they said my placenta was sitting up and round so that's why but I should feel soon 😆 xx
