Behold, the wonder of birth! Members from 6 weeks bfp to post-partum wonder Mamas! No question to grotty or minging.

We've come full circle from obsessing about cervical mucus to now obsessing if it's our vagina baby plug going! What larks!

Lots of talk about poo, ours and now babies too! Baby brain is REAL! This heat can kiss my arse. And who KNEW being so neurotic about which changing mat to buy could be so satisfying and addictive!

Sooo many gorgeous babies now! And equally lovely Mummy's! We are amazing! What a year! Can you believe it's been a year since our first tentative TTC thread!? Look how far we've come!

Roll up, literally, in my case, cause I'm practically rotund! for TTC #1 Grads!

bunch, sorry to hear you've had a bad night with your OH. I'm impressed you didn't kill him when he did you've now had the same amount of sleep Hmm I think a few of our other halves need to step up a bit.

Has the doctor said how long Atticus can go without a poo for before they give him anything to help?

miley, I can't get over how much hair Harrison has - so cute! And that weight loss is good too! How's feeding going?

I put on 2.5 stone in pregnancy and have lost 1.5 of that since Evelyn was born. I need to try to shift the rest before wedding dress shopping next month but I'm not going to stress about it. We'll just see what happens.

damson, I really missed hot baths too. I ended up having quite a few luke warm ones towards the end of pregnancy though to help my bad back.

IndiX · 18/09/2016 10:43

I ended up getting a few more hours sleep, I still feel buggered now though.

Sorry your DH isn't being the most helpful bunch. I think I have all this to come and I can totally see my DH doing the 'are you ok?' Or 'are you sure?' Then going back to sleepAngry glad you've managed a few more hours though. Hope Atticus manages to have a poo soon and your DH is landed with the result!

Miley that worries me, I'm crossing my legs until my ELCS date so hopefully I won't have any leaking. I'm all prepared now though so if it happens then I'm ready to goSmile Harrison is just adorable! Do you recommend one of those bouncer chairs? I may get one once she's here, I don't want to keep buying stuff before she arrives though. Great news about his weight and that the HV is happy with him.

Damson I always had quite hot baths tbh, not scorching but I didn't really change the temperature ( until now when I'm hot ALL the time, bloody hormones)

Think I'm going to call the MW or doctor tomorrow as my mum said I can still have thrush even without the smell or itching. She had it just before she gave birth to me and I know it's very common in late pregnancy. I don't feel like it's thrush but better to get checked out I guess.

I have a 1st birthday party today so going to enjoy lots of cake and kiddie cuddles.
Hope you all have a lovely Sunday xx

leoniethelioness · 18/09/2016 12:46

I have 13 kg to lose to get back to where I was... 😯 I think that's 2 stone. 😮 I could stand to lose a bit more after that though. I'm continuing to eat like I'm pregnant until my due date then I'll have to make better choices.

Mileymoocow · 18/09/2016 13:34

Hahaha leonie that is a brilliant idea! Cake until 8th October then.

pink wow! That's amazing, you'll do that in no time. I'm hoping once it cools a bit I'll lose more of my water retention that I still have. The feeding is going well, mostly. It's just a game of patience sometimes when he gets himself in a twist. I've learned to calm him down with cuddles and try again otherwise his crying upsets me and we get nowhere!

indi hopefully it's nothing, I had that many 'symptoms' it's hard to tell what actually was a symptom if that makes sense! He loves his swing, but it's not a necessity. My dad bought him it otherwise we might not have bothered he has that much other stuff!

Thanks ladies, he's so hairy I love it Grin

Nevlet · 18/09/2016 14:52

We are in the childrens ward at our local hospital. They think he has some kind of infection. Taken him off for tests now. This is so upsetting I am at the point where I almost wish we had never had him as I cant stand the worry and seeing him poorly and upset! Do they allow you to sit and drink wine in a hospital?!

Co5mo · 18/09/2016 15:30

Oh Nev, I hope he's not too unwell. If it's of any comfort, hospitals are always very cautious with the little ones so will run a whole load of tests that will get you worried but what they are doing is ruling out different problems rather than actually looking for them. Most of the tests are just in case. 🍩🍰🍪🍫

Danni89 · 18/09/2016 15:43

Aww thinking of you nev, hope Bodhi is ok x

AudreyBradshaw · 18/09/2016 15:52

Nev oh you poor thing, sending lots of love and positive thoughts and prayer to you, dp and little Bodhi. Flowers 💙 poor little sausage, Deffo echo what co5mo said, hospitals would always rather over check and double test with little tinies to make sure.

Nevlet · 18/09/2016 16:04

They have said apart from one high temperature reading he wouldnt be so flagged up and it's quite possibly fuss over nothing. I am less worried now because I know they are looking into every possibility

mayago · 18/09/2016 16:28

May, 35. 24+3 I think now.

Nev I'm thinking of you and Bodhi. I hope it's nothing serious!

Bunch that's a long time without a poo. I guess babies don't work the same way as adults in that their intake is liquid. I can't imagine not going in more than a couple of days, but I've been pretty lucky I think Wink. Hope OH realises that the sleeping situation isn't on pretty soon.. I fear I'll have the same with my OH.

Miley Harrison is so adorable! I really love his hair.

Indi Hope the discharge isn't anything to worry about, and that beanie stays put until you're ready for her.

Stardrey thanks for the new thread, and I hope your OH's job is now more agreeable!

Potato that's a fantastic weight loss! It shouldn't be long to regain something closer to your old shape. My OH would suggest HIIT and weight training. He's drilled that into me already Shock

Lisa OC sounds scary. Hope all goes well and baby arrives safely!

Jan not a lot sorted here other than a sleepyhead, a few packs of nappies, various samples and a few outfits. We're planning on moving before due date, but OH has to pull his finger out and sort his finances first. Not much point buying now if it all has to be moved in the near future...

I'm not sure what's wrong with me. I've actually slept through the past 4 nights (a first since the BFP!) and I am super tired, hungry and grumpy. I've booked a last minute surprise trip to Canada on Friday, and have loads to sort out before then. OH brought his niece to mine this weekend for a visit, and my cat absolutely hated her, and took every opportunity to hiss and swipe. Not like I needed anything else to worry about, but hey ho. We did buy a few outfits from Mamas and Papas (including a sparkly pink tutu, yay!) so it wasn't a horror of a weekend I guess.

Mileymoocow · 18/09/2016 16:46

Oh nev poor little man! I hope he is ok Sad plenty cuddles for him.

Anyone got a next2me? I'm looking to but one but our bed is 71cm to top of mattress and I can't find anything in black and white that tells you how high the mattress to that goes! I'm giving up on the moses basket, he hates it.

Feefeefs · 18/09/2016 17:04

Just catching up now. Loving the baby and animal photos from the end of the last thread!!

Feef
Age 28
27+6 today, hello third trimester tomorrow! Vanilla baby who I am now convinced is a boy, no idea why.

Congratulations on the job offer Audrey and DH!

Ewan is on my list leonie glad you like him!

Hope all the new mummies get better sleep tonight! I've got major pregsommnia at the moment, very frustrating.

I'm just starting to buy baby stuff now janubub did lots of research for the past 2-3 weeks.

Sound scary Lisa but glad you're so close to the 38 weeks if things need to happen.

Cute bath picture bodhi. Hope he feels better soon nev.

Feefeefs · 18/09/2016 17:04

Meant to say bought car seat and snuzpod today and exuded on I candy pray! Yay

BunchOfBobs · 18/09/2016 17:33

Nev thinking of you all, hope Bodhi feels better soon.

We had our taster session at waterbabies today. Atticus was a star and didn't even cry when dunked Grinhoping to have some photos from it later. Still no poo......

leoniethelioness · 18/09/2016 18:07

Miley Our Snuzpod is quite high - worth looking into.

Fee I love Ewan!

Bunch Aww, poor Atticus.

LisaTheSimpson · 18/09/2016 19:08

Thank you everyone, you're so sweet. Will know more tomorrow.

Bunch, Atticus is swimming already?! Grin Love that he loves the water.

Off topic, has anyone upgraded to the new iOS yet? I'm wondering if I should leave it a bit or upgrade now.....

BunchOfBobs · 18/09/2016 19:50

Lisa do it, the new text features are AMAZING!! It was just a taster session, we plan on starting classes in November but my local pool has a song and swim session once a week, so hopefully next week I can start after my 6week check on Friday Grin

BunchOfBobs · 18/09/2016 19:52

Also, I'm currently in a roasty toasty tea tree bath surrounded by candles sipping on my favourite coconut water with pineapple juice whilst dinner is in the oven. Me thinks DH is feeling guilty Grin

Janubub · 18/09/2016 20:03

Feef - what did you buy?

I also have a vanilla baby. Have you tried any of the old wives tales?

LillianFullStop · 18/09/2016 20:06

Fee and leonie I'm really curious about Ewan! Someone mentioned it at my NCT class today.

Nev poor little Bodhi I hope tests come back and it's nothing serious just a small niggle - hang in there FlowersFlowers

bunch glad to see DH is making up for it! bath and candles sounds amazing! Times like these I wish I had a bath in the flat but I'll have to make do with hot showers for now.

Miley 3 sheet changes! Woah will definitely get on and order more!!!

Feefeefs · 18/09/2016 20:27

Glad he's treating you bunch!

No I haven't actually janubub! Only just realised I haven't!! Weird!!!! Will be googling tonight!!!

I bought a snuzpod, maxi cosi pebble car seat and base, and we're going to get an icandy Apple 2 pear! DH is determined to future prof for future children! We went to a mamas and papas event so got good discount, then on the 28th mothercare event! All about the discount! DHs parents and sister bought the pram and snuzpod for us Smile

Feefeefs · 18/09/2016 20:29

Lillian my friend used lots of white noise apps etc for her wee one and they really helped apparently the "pink noise" from Ewan the dream sheep is even better

BunchOfBobs · 18/09/2016 20:29

Indi no discharge here but I was quite dry all the way through.

Nev that's such a cute bath time photo. I hope you're back home now and everything is ok.

Pink I not even looking at my pre-pregnancy clothes yet. I just can't understand how I can weigh so little (for me) but be so big. It really must be because I've lost all my tone. I actually weigh less than when I got pregnant Shock

Bunch aww, sorry you're struggling with OH are you going to have a talk with him about it?
Yay for Atticus and his swimming adventure.

Miley that's a lovely photo Smile

Feef congrats on the third trimester Smile

So, I'm having one of those days when I'm mostly pissed off or upset for no particular reason. I'm thinking it must be because of my birthday on Friday. I'm not a fan of my birthday anymore as I've had too many birthday disappointments like parties where no one turns up etc. I'm sure it will be ok but I'm just not feeling it.

We found out what was going on with the door kicking. Two blokes approached us today to ask if a young lad lived here. We said no and they explained how their "friend" had caught a young lad trying to steal their bike at 3am, they'd chased him and the lad had hammered on our door screaming for help, the kid then ran on and the bloke lost him. He assumed the kid lived here so when he walked past the next day he tried to kick my door in because he was angry.
We explained that the kid didn't live here and they walked off but apparently when DSS returned home later they were watching the house.
I've told the police. Really bugs me that we have a nice house in a nice area but there's a few houses about 5 minutes away that are obviously local authority and a bit dodgy (you can see where the police have used battering rams on some of the doors)

On the bright side Arya smiled properly for the first time today... Unsurprisingly it was at her milk being waved in front of her

leoniethelioness · 18/09/2016 21:22

Mums, does anyone else have a noisy night sleeper? Theo makes so many sleeping noises. DH slept in the spare room until half three and I didn't sleep at all until he came in to switch with me. I wear one ear plug. I don't know what to do. DH goes back to work on Thursday and I am terrified I won't be able to cope. I can't expect him to do as much as he does now when he's in work - his job means he needs to be alert. Any tips? I play Ewan on repeat to try to drown him out a bit... It doesn't work.
