Hi everyone,
Just trying to catch up quickly!
Huskygirl- hello! Hope you start to feel better soon, a couple of us on here had severe PE last time, abgirl & I among them. My DS was delivered at 30 weeks due to HELLP syndrome so like you it is easy to start worrying now!!
Had a consultant appt yesterday at a big (not local) hospital... went well, going to be dragged in every 2 weeks from now to start uterine artery doppler scans to try to keep a close eye on things as BP for me wasn't a reliable indicator of PE. Actually v relieved that I'll be well monitored, can relax a bit now.
Had a quick scan (not an anomoly one, that's in 2 more weeks' time!) and baby looking great, perfect size for dates and had its feet over it's head- amazing how flexible they are!!
Feeling a bit ill today, been debating whether to call docs, think it may be tonsilitis but gonna wait a bit longer to see.... DS is having his nap and then I want to get down to the library with him ('tis our day off work) so no time to be ill!!
Anyone else getting dizzy spells? I know I don't have low BP so just assuming it's one of those pregnancy things!
For anyone suffering from trapped nerves (LynneC?) in lower back/hips a good exercise a yoga teacher taught me was to kneel on all fours, with back level (horizontal- not humped or dipped), then kick out behind you the leg of the offending side, as if you're trying to kick an object beghind you. Repeat five times then rest. It helps open out the vertebrae/joints and increase blood flow apparently?!
Big hugs to you all and congrats to those who now know the sex of the baby and have had good anomaly scans!
xxxxx
