Jpeg, remember some of that is just paranoia. Your body can play tricks on you, especially if you're looking for symptoms of MC. Don't loose faith yet, not until the scan (and I know it may seem easier for me to say, but I've had 6 MC, so I do know how hard it is xx)

Fingers crossed you for this morning. Pregnancy symptoms come and go but I can imagine you are worried. How many weeks are you at present?

Well EPU won't see me. Said basically to get on with it at home. Completely unhelpful and useless!

Oh jpeg that's awful! Why on earth did they say something like that?! Did they say if the bleeding gets worse to call again or anything? Can you try again later and hope someone else answers the phone?

No they seemed not to care! They said just take painkillers and contact gp if I want to. Honestly couldn't believe how unhelpful she was. They were like this last time until my GP referred me. I'll call mw and see what they say. I just want my bloods done so I can see what's happening.

That's outrageous! The last thing you need is to add more stress to the situation! I hope your mw can do something can she refer you to epu?

I know really not very happy! A mw is going to call me and they will take my bloods in the app Monday so I'll probably know either way by then. Bleeding has now turned brown which I know could be a could thing. Full cramps continuing. I just don't feel pg at all anymore. I hate the not knowing. Really sorry to just rant about me!

Thanks sarahhh and puggle, I am a bit anxious about my scan - my fear is that because I'm only around 6 weeks anyway there won't be a heartbeat which I know is normal for this stage and might be something that would show up in a week or so...or not...argh. I've had no more spotting since Tue morning and have felt very sick since 4am this morning so that might be a good thing I guess.

I also can't believe they've advised taking painkillers when they CANNOT be 100% certain that you're miscarrying if your baby turns out to be fine and it's just an odd clot of blood or whatever, how shit will you feel if you've taken a load of ibuprofen/codeine or whatever?!! I'm just and on your behalf. Bastards!

I knew someone who delivered full term but didn't know she was pregnant. She thought she was just putting on weight, and it was pretty even everywhere not just on her belly, and that sickness was because she couldn't hold her booze anymore. She still had what she thought were periods too - maybe recurrent bleeds? She had an anterior placenta, and swears that she never felt any movements. She went into hospital with abdominal pains and ta-da, healthy baby!

My plan to distract myself this morning with work has backfired. I was so intensively into it that I've finished all my work for today early. Need to find something to do until lunch as I feel sick with nerves about my scan now.

shark sorry you're going to have to cut it short. I'm off to Norfolk for a week on Saturday and, as we used to live there, we're catching up with loads of people. Who don't know. It'll be a test! Well done for doing a boat. I won't be!

My booking in appointment will be when I'm 9 weeks on Saturday Sept 24th. And the midwife is coming to my house! Anyone else have that?
