Thanks for the new thread Celen.

I can't understand not knowing til 35 weeks, or until giving birth (!) either. Last time by 35 weeks I was massive and as others say, seeing all sorts of limbs poking out!

My DD kicks off in the buggy all the time but she's such a live wire, she doesn't walk she runs! Everywhere. All the time. She's exhausting! She will not wear reins either, she writhes around on the ground like they're made of acid Hmm

CastleFeck · 31/08/2016 20:13

Hi I've fallen off the list
Due 17th dc#3

I had an early scan and saw a hb, so I should be feeling something akin to postive, however I still feel worried and sicky.

I'm not a teacher. I feel for those of you who are, good luck for the start of term.

StillaChocoholic · 31/08/2016 20:18

Thanks for the new thread Celen

DH has a cousin that apparently didn't know she was pregnant until she went into labour. When I was pregnant I was constantly having to push DS out of my ribs so it seems bizarre that she can't have felt something and been freaked out!

DS is another toddler that doesn't seem to want to walk anymore. He made me take him to the shop in his pram the other day, this shop is a 10 min walk away and that's only cos he's so slow!

I'm still waiting to get a booking in appointment from my midwife and I'm getting quite impatient. I'm 9+2 and I remember having my booking in appointment at 9 weeks with DS. I've already got an appointment for my first scan through and it says on the letter to make sure you've had booking in before the scan. I think I'm gonna give her till next week when I'm 10 weeks and chase her up

sarahhh1984 · 31/08/2016 20:27

Me too, hummingbird, mine's at 1.30. Deliberately lined up loads of work tasks to keep me occupied in the morning. Good luck for your scan as well. Smile

Littlespoon · 31/08/2016 20:33

Thanks for the new thread Celen. Marking my place!

Out of interest, for those with DCs already, did anyone have cholestasis in a previous pregnancy?

MumiTravels · 31/08/2016 20:47

Good luck for all you teachers going back to work shortly. Secondary school teachers - they'll have to have 15 minutes self directed study every lesson so that you can have wee's and a drink. Primary teachers - Err ?quiet reading time for you to sit down for 5. Suppose you can't really leave your class room can you.

I've got loads of night shifts coming up. I'll be dead on my feet. Hopefully they're with our own staff not agency so at least if i need a quiet half hour then I can.

Celen · 31/08/2016 20:56

So sorry CastleFeck, seems my copy & pasting skills aren't as good as I thought! Blush

I think you bring us up to 60 (!) amazing ladies due to give birth next April Shock

Just started bleeding.... So scared. Ultrasound yesterday made me so positive but this is the same day I started bleeding in my last pg that ended in miscarriage. Sorry to just post without reading through others... I'm just terrified and no one to talk to.

Celticlassie · 31/08/2016 21:57

I'm so sorry, jpeg. Can you get an emergency scan done?

Littlespoon · 31/08/2016 21:58

Keeping everything crossed for you jpeg Flowers

Helbelle75 · 31/08/2016 22:02

What kind of bleeding jpeg? Just spotting?
Sending lots of sticky bean thoughts to you. I had a mmc in May and I'm dreading the same thing happening. Keep talking to us if it helps.

jpeg28 · 31/08/2016 22:05

Proper bleeding Helbelle not really heavy but it's red which is worrying me. Just upset as it's the exact same day I started bleeding last time and that ended in MC, I only saw the heartbeat yesterday so I guess it could be all ok but I'm finding it hard to be positive. Hoping I can fall asleep and go to the EPU tomorrow. Why can't pregnancy be easy!!

Niks2026 · 31/08/2016 22:08

Hope all is ok jpeg. Try and take it is and stay positive. A very high number of pregnancies can spot during pregnancies and still have healthy full term pregnancies and babies. Feet up and cup of tea! Is is only when you wipe? Maybe put a of in to keep track? Everything crossed for you BrewCakeFlowersStar

Celticlassie · 31/08/2016 22:09

It can be a horrible, horrible time, pregnancy - just a constant worry. Hoping the bleeding stops and all's ok tomorrow. Flowers

Helbelle75 · 31/08/2016 22:09

Try to relax and contact your EPU in the morning. A lot of people bleed during pregnancy and it's absolutely fine. I would be struggling to be positive as well - it's so hard after a mc - but you saw a heartbeat which is amazing!
It would be lovely if pregnancy were easy or at least we could tell the future a little and know everything was going to be ok. I have to say I never thought it would be this difficult iin terms of emotions and anxiety.

LotsaTuddles · 31/08/2016 22:09

So sorry Jpeg. It could be nothing, ring epu tomorrow morning, they may be able to scan again

MumiTravels · 31/08/2016 22:22

Did you have an internal probe? I had a bleed the morning of my scan on Tuesday and saw a little heartbeat after.

Give them a ring tomorrow first thing. Once your referred the first time you belong to them so no new referrals or middle people needed.

Hope you manage to get some sleep tonight Brew

IAmALionTamer · 31/08/2016 22:31

Will be thinking of you tomorrow morning Jpeg
I hope EPU can fit you in asap and that another scan can put your mind at rest

LuchiMangsho · 31/08/2016 22:35

Oh jpeg you've had a rough ride. Fingers crossed you get some answers.
I'm place marking in this new thread.
8 week scan on Sunday. I'm so tired it's not funny. And struggling to fall asleep. Long day at work tomorrow, so going to have to just keep going.

Bubbinsmakesthree · 31/08/2016 22:50

Fingers crossed jpeg - try to hold on to the fact that seeing the heartbeat is a much stronger positive sign than bleeding is a negative. It must be so hard when you've been through MC before, I can't imagine Flowers

ChatEnOeuf · 01/09/2016 03:33

Checking in - thanks for the new thread (and for filling up the old one!)

Night shifts here, and I'm struggling. Tired, nauseous and I can't stomach most of the goodies on the nightly tea trolly. What's worse is that I'm sure my decision-making isn't as good when I feel this rubbish.

Told my boss (well one of them) yesterday morning, she was really pleased. Just hoping it sticks.

Jpeg I hope things have settled down a little and that EPAU can see you soon.

MummaFB · 01/09/2016 06:34

Checking myself in.

Another teacher who is back at school today...absolutely dreading it!!

Jaffacakes1234 · 01/09/2016 06:48

Oooh new thread, I've got a bit lost, hope everyone is ok and not too nauseas. Nothing to report here really.
Can someone please add me to the list?
Due 6th April, dc4

Number4OnTheWay · 01/09/2016 06:58

Oh jpeg :( did they tell you they saw any dark masses that could explain the bleeding?
Bleeding doesn't always mean the end of a pregnancy. I bled quite a bit with DS, I needed to put in a pad and it was all fresh. I also have a friend who was so convinced she was MC because of the amount of blood (think 2-3 pads in an hour) she went out and got really drunk the night before her scan. Her dd was born last month!!

jpeg28 · 01/09/2016 07:03

Thanks number4... There was nothing in the scan to suggest bleeding, I've had lower back ache, loads of cramping and loss of oh symptoms so I'm pretty sure it's a MC. EPU opens at 8 so I'll call when they open and hopefully get seen.
